    De eerste blik op Caracas zie je vanuit de glazen lift die je naar je kamer zoeft: zwembaden, palmbomen een militaire luchthaven en de stad die in de vallei uitgestrekt ligt. De staff is behulpzaam en kent rudimentair engels. Ligging kon beter: na het uitbouwen van de metro heb je niet steeds meer een taxi nodig. Een echt rustpunt na een hectische en niet ongevaardelijke tocht in een boeiende stad. Kamers heel clean en comfortabel. Water kon warmer.
