  Klein hotel op een centrale plaats in Venetië, op wandelafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. Ontbijt was goed maar niet waauw. de kamers waren redelijk groot en zeer comfortabel. De staff was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

  Ik en mijn vrouw hebben mijn 50 jarige verjaardag gevierd in dit hotel op het Lido. Onze eerste keus was het hostorische hotel Les Bains op het Lido (vlakbij) maar dat is vanwege verbouwing gesloten. Achteraf heel tevreden met dit hotel en kan het iedereen aanbevelen. Het hotel was zo vriendelijk mij te verrassen met een verjaardagstaart! Uitstekende fitness alsmede een sfeer van een hotel dat meer dan 100 jaar oud is. Goede, gratis bootverbinding vanuit het hotel met Venetie en ook een verbinding per boot met het vliegveld Marco Polo a eur 15 pp (1 uur). Tarieven per nacht kunnen nogal sterk verschillen dus alternatieven bekijken zeer de moeite waard.

  Concordia is een zeer goed hotel met fantastisch uitzicht op het San Marco plein (kamer 104). Absolute aanrader! Netjes en verzorgd hotel, met vriendelijk personeel.

  Het is goed te doen, als je met een gezin og meerdere personen gaat. Het zag er prima uit.

  The hotel is situated on the canal grande, a mere 5min walk, or 3min waterbus, from the rialto bridge and double that to the st marks square. So it's not in the middle of all the action but it is very close. In true SLH style the hotel premises are impeccable. Specifically the 1st floor with the grand frescoed ballrooms and the marble stairways are an amazing sight. Only thing missing in the hotel is a pre- or after dinner drinks area. Even the smaller rooms are well sized and perfectly isolated from the sounds of Venice during high season. The staff is very friendly and truly go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Only encoutered a few cosmetic errors (breakfest crew eating during service, slightly leaking shower head wrong gondola advice- do not take the one next to the hotel as they will only show you the canals around the hotel. For almost the same price the gondola's around st marks square give you a better experience). I would recommend this hotel, specifically for an engagement trip :)

  Hotel Scandinavia is a nice and clean hotel in a good and central area of Venice. Rialto bridge and San Marco square are within walking distance. It lies on a cute square with a church (which has classical concerts in the evening). The hotel provides seats outside, so you can drink your coffee while watching Venice wake up. This leads me to the breakfast, which is absolutely great according to Italian standards. They have large variety of food, like cornflakes, (brown) bread, crackers and even croissants! However, do not dine at the restaurant across the square, because that will be a disappointment. If you don't know where to go, ask the staff. They are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small, but comfortable, (very) clean and generally with airco. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why we did not encounter any mosquitos there (even though it was summer). All in all, Hotel Scandinavia is a great place to stay.

  A nice hotel, well located just opposite the waterbus station at the Lido Venetia. Lots of restaurants and little shops in the neighbourhood and (fortunately) a bit away from the big crowds of San Marco and Rialto. Nice to come back to the Lido in the evening. Only negative point of the hotel: make sure you don't get the Garden room; the only room downstairs, overlooking a parking place and very small. However, the staff was very friendly and the location itself perfect.

  Het hotel ligt vlakbij het station, dus ook bij het openbaar vervoer op het water en bij vele restaurants. Zeer rustige kamer, met zachte airco. Goede bedden en badkamer. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Aan te raden.
