Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.
Ligging.
The Plaza ligt in het centrum van New York, op loopafstand van Tiffany & Co. en Museum van moderne Kunst. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Rockefeller Center en Carnegie Hall.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
The Plaza jheeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een healthclub en een stoomcabine. Een draadloze internetverbinding is beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes (tegen betaling). Dit hotel met met 5 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, een vergader-/conferentieruimte en een limousine- of autoservice. Dit hotel in luxe stijl heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en een huwelijksservice regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spa, een fitnesscentrum en een sauna. Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt.
Hotelkamers.
The Plaza heeft 282 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluisje op de kamer. Elke kamer heeft flatscreen televisies met kanalen via kabel/satelliet, een dvd-speler en betaalfilms. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Een snelle draadloze internetverbinding is bij betaling van een toeslag beschikbaar. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een weegschaal, kamerjassen, designer toiletartikelen en make-up-/scheerspiegels. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere pantoffels en een haardroger. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals een koelkast, massagebehandelingen op de kamer en hypo-allergeen beddengoed. Een turndownservice is elke avond beschikbaar en een huishoudservice dagelijks. In The Plaza mag niet op de kamers worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.
Speciale verzoeken kunnen, indien mogelijk, bij het inchecken worden ingewilligd. Hiervoor kunnen extra kosten worden aangerekend. Speciale verzoeken kunnen niet worden gegarandeerd.

As expected the service was top notch and the location was spectacular. Only slight disappointment was charging for internet unless you signed up for something but so much available to do it was not a real issue.

I may not always be able to afford to stay at the Plaza but if possible I'll try to make it my NYC Home. Oak Bar is currently closed, but that's how it goes sometimes. The Lobby Bar is quite a good scene.

The Plaza is just as classy as they say. A suprise night for a friend in NYC turned into an upgrade from our concierge Salvatore. We had a beautiful suite with sitting room, guest bath, bedroom and incredible master bath. We truly enjoyed the experience.

We had a Great Experience at the Plaza. We ate at the Plaza Food Hall and it was great. The Champagne Bar is also a nice place to have a drink. It is a great hotel.

We stayed at the Plaza for our honeymoon. It was just fantastic. I have been staying at 100's of hotels through my career and never been so satisfied with the service. Special heads up the concierge staff for making all changes on bookings and comming up with brilliant suggestions for daytime and evening leisure, restaurants and bars.

I fully enjoyed my stay at the Plaza in NYCity. The personnel were unbelievably helpful and warm. I have stayed in many hotels both domestic and foreign and the Plaza ranks at the top. I would highly recommend it to those who are prepared to pay for the very best.

This is supposed to be a luxury, 5 star hotel. When you pay top dollar, you expect service. I was travelling with my wife and son. Before my stay, I request a roll-away and was assured it would be set up upon arrival. Of course, it wasn't. I requested 5 mores times before and after check-in up until 9:30pm. Never got it. What you will get is more apologies […] than you want to here. It seemed as if every time I was at the front desk, they were apologizing about something to someone. Lees meer

The renovations that The Plaza recently have made were made in great taste. I never imagined that they could make the place even more beautiful but they did. You do pay for quality. The only issue I had was with my credit card. Other then that I would recommend this place to others.

The Plaza was very nice, if expensive. The workout room -- for a hotel of the Plaza's cost and opulence was terrible although it was open 24 hours which is a plus. But, I felt a little nickeled and dimed. When you are paying that rate and ask if the front desk has any aspirin, you don't expect to pay $1 per pill. Perhaps they could just make them available […] to the guest. The tiny can of coca-cola in the room refrigerator was outlandish. You expect to pay more in your room but not this much more. Geez. "NYC Treasure"
The Plaza is everything you every dreamed of and more. Everyone should experience this hotel at least once in thier lifetime. From arrival to departure everything was impecable. I asked for an upgrade and the cost was well worth it. Traveling with my twin college daughters the 1/2 bath was all mine.Our suite was perfect. We got rained in one night and […] ate downtstairs. The selection of food was amazing and the cost relative to dinning in NYC. We went for drinks at the Oak bar and that was a treat. Roel, concierge, arranged our activities perfectly. From dinner at Lava to the latest clubs and best pizza he called while we were out to make sure we were happy. He is the best assest the Plaza has. Find time to sit at the lobby and enjoy coffee or drinks and people watch. Staying at the Plaza is now off my bucket list and I hope to be fortunate to return. Lees meer

It is a very nice bathroom in every sense. It is actually very large but it lacks some basic items such as counter space, towel hangers for hand towels. It could be improved with very little effort
"The Plaza - Every Guest is Treated like Royalty"
From the time I got out of the car, until the time I was heading back to the airport, I felt as if I was the owner of the Plaza hotel or like I was some sort of visiting dignitary. The staff could not have been more accommodating or welcoming to me and my girlfriend and the room... Well, let's just say that I have stayed in many hotel rooms over the […] years, many of them suites in 5 star hotels, and never, ever, have I experienced anything like this one. We were in the penthouse, which was a 2 story penthouse with a terrace that overlooked the city. The room was impeccable, but what made it better was that the decor was that of a palace (beautiful portraits, 24 karat plated bathroom fixtures, velvet covered furniture, etc.), but also had a technology level that would rival or exceed the most advanced hotels (I-Pad to control the lighting and temperature, heated floors in the bathroom, flat panel tvs and an advanced telephone system to incorporate your own personal touch). I have been staying in New York for the last 14 years and usually at the best hotels, but I had never stayed at the Plaza. However, after the experience that we had, I would find it difficult to ever go to New York again without the Plaza being in my plans! If you can afford the extra dollars it might cost you, it will be WELL WORTH IT!!!!!! Lees meer

"Great Hotel, awful smell on the outside"
The new owners brought back the grand era of the Plaza with great taste and sense of style. Unfortunately unless you like the aroma of horse droppings outside the main entrance then you will enjoy all the amenities indoors. My suggestion is that they get some kind of aroma killing device to combat the stink. Ja, det koster litt mer, men her har du tilgang på det meste. Cenral park ligger rett over gaten og hotellet ligger sentralt til ved 5th avenu. Gode senger og stort bad samt store garderobeskap. Champagnebaren har nydelig champagne men den koster........ S.Solbakken
