Wij hebben 4 nachten verbleven in dit prima hotel. Centraal gelegen vlakbij de Navypier en maar twee blocks gelegen van Michigan avenue!! Op loop afstand te doen! Het Hotel heeft ruime kamers en is schoon! Het ontbijt kost $ 18,-.p.p Wil je dit niet? dan is er direct naast het Hotel een bagle store waar je volop kunt kiezen, en een stuk goedkoper! Ook het personeel bij de lobby zijn zeer behulpzaam en de portiers erg vriendelijk! Al met al voor ons een leuke tijd en raden dit zeker anderen aan!
Ligging.
The Westin O'Hare ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in Rosemont, dicht bij Congrescentrum Donald E. Stephens, Allstate Arena en Rivers Casino. In de buurt bevindt zich ook Rosemont Theatre.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
The Westin O'Hare heeft een binnenzwembad, een spabad en een fitnesscentrum. Tegen betaling kan in alle openbare ruimtes een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) worden aangeboden. Dit hotel met een spa biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant, een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spa, meertalig personeel en een cadeaushop of kiosk. Gasten kunnen gratis gebruikmaken van een luchthavenshuttle (op beperkt tijden) en een lokale shuttlebus. Parkeren op locatie is mogelijk tegen betaling. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.
Hotelkamers.
The Westin O'Hare heeft 525 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een (laptop)kluis en een kluis. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met designer beddengoed, driedubbele lakens en een donsdeken. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke 42-inch lcd-televisie heeft premiumkanalen via digitale ontvanger, een videogameconsole en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, badjassen, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en een gratis weekkrant. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een koelkast, een magnetron en een turndownservice. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. Op de kamers van The Westin O'Hare mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Convenien Blue Line access, walkable to Convention"
I'm not sure if it's because I paid a little extra for the deluxe room, but Westin seems to do a lot of things right. I wanted a room with Internet access and I knew I would be in-and-out with my car frequently. I did the math, and it is cheaper to get the deluxe room than pay for those things separately. Additionally the deluxe room came with vouchers […] for breakfast at the hotel restaurant, which could also be used for room service (up to 30 USD). The deluxe room was definitely worth the value for me, and it came with niceties that other hotels would charge you for, like free bottles of water (other hotels might charge as much as three bucks a piece) and a bath robe. My only complaint was that I would have liked access to a roll-away bed, but they could not provide one due to firecode. All in all, I was very happy with my experience at the Westin. I have been going to conventions in Rosemont since 2003 and of the hotels in the area I have stayed at, this is my favourite so far. Lees meer
"Went there for board exam"
I went there because my board exam was there. It's a nice hotel w free shuttle from and to ohare. They charge for Internet which is annoying considering the room was expensive. Their restaurants were a bit pricy and quite empty so I ate at the giordano's which is a block away.

The overall experience was great, the staff were excellent and the room was comfortable and relaxing. The Westin is normally my choice and again they delivered.

"excellent airport hotel"
i was in and out of o'hare for a short business trip and the westin was clean, attractive and well-maintained with very friendly staff - high quality all around.
"Nice hotel, but tub had drainage problem"
Everything was nice about the hotel and room except the tub was dirty. It looked like it had backed up and left a bunch of dirt and grime. When water was turned on in the tub, it drained very slow.

Very comfortable room and a good rate. You do have to pay extra for parking which I felt was at an outrageous fare. But it is Chicago and I suppose that should be expected.

Stayed one night in mid August and another in late October, 2011. Very convenient to O'Hare airport (though we heard no aircraft). Very nice accommodations, good restaurant (but can only vouch for breakfast), helpful staff. Block away from McDonalds, good pizza and at least 1 good (and pricey) restaurant. "DO NOT STAY HERE!"
This hotel is outdated, not maintained, has a dirty feel, room was too hot and could not be controlled, none of the nice details expected at a Westin/nicer hotel. Huge hassle factor with keys not working, horrible and slow room service food, lack of cleanliness all around. There are other, much nicer hotels nearby this location to check out.

"The Westin Ohare"
If you don't mind paying 25.00 a night for parking this is a wonderful hotel to stay at. We even got a green coupon for not having a maid come in on our second day which was worth a whole 45 bucks but there was nothing that i could use the $5 for as we didn't eat at the restuarant and it's no good towards any alcohol so was it wort not having maid service […] for the night? Not happy...I pre-paid for parking and was charged an extra $49 when I left the parking lot.

"Comfort and Convenience"
The hotel is pretty and in a great location. The personnel was not exactly warm, but not mean or rude either. The rooms were very clean, which is the most important factor in my choosing a hotel. The beds were not very comfortable and had too few pillows. Drinks at the bar were WAY expensive and you have to pay for parking as well.

The Bartender - Joey - is one of the best. I had not been back to the hotel for several months and he new exactly what I was having when I walked in the bar. Provides great, friendly service and would recommend staying at this hotel AND visiting the Benchmark.

This hotel is a lovely property but I have to say the front desk staff was extremely pleasant. Smiles that seemed truly genuine and not fake.
Would not rate this hotel as a 4 star! needs some serious maintenecnce and new carpeting. mimi fridge in room was empty and not working. carpets are smelly and there are stains all over. Free Shuttle to/from airport is about the best thing about this hotel. Restaurant prices are overpriced.

The Hotel was nice but the room was a lttle basic for my expectations. The toile was not flushed when I went in which turned me off a little. Other than that everything was ok but did expect a little more far a Westin.

staff at reception desk was not courtious . Never received welcome and thank you at the end. It was my first time at the westin and probably last.
A short walk from the blue line train and very close to restaurants like Giordano's, the location is convenient for those using O'Hare. The staff could not have been nicer. The rooms are clean and modern.

"Great stay but..."
The price and the stay was great. Only thing was the bathroom door didn't lock and when they cleaned our room, they never refilled the coffee and cups. We had to call twice cause first time, came with coffee without cups. In the end, still happy
"ELEGANT BUT NOT OVERWELMING *** CLOSE TO SO MUCH"
Great choice for your Chicago stay, close to inter city public transport. Relaxing and comfortable - great bedding/mattress. Only down side was parking charges even though the hotel is not downtown.
"Westin in Rosemont- Quick walk to train"
I needed to be close to the train station and the Westin is only about a 2 block walk to the Rosemont blue line stop. My room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Room service was beyond what I expected. Large quantity of food and very good. Staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Westin prior to a flight to O'Hara. The shuttle was nice even at 3:00 am in the morning. The room was very nice and spacious. We ate at the restaurant onsite which was very nice also. Would recommend.

This was a family trip to Chicago to relax and see the sights. I did not want to drive downtown Chicago and fight traffic and parking headaches. Looked for a hotel in the O'Hare area with easy access to public transportation, and I could not have picked a better place to stay. This Westin Hotel is easy to drive to traffic wise and only 2 blocks to the […] Rosemont train station, where a transit pass allows unlimited train and bus transfers to anywhere in Chicago. "Not bad, if your you don't want to leave the hotel"
Is really close to O'Hare, but nothing really within walking distance. Also, no Ipod dock alarm clock. Otherwise, was clean, and the gym and pool were nice. Internet in the room was pricey as was the restaurant.

Hotel was smoke-free, yet room smelled of old smoke. To be very blunt-the room stunk! Upon opening the door to the room, the bed looked as if someone had been laying on it just before we arrived. The covers were sunken in and somewhat wrinkled. Every item or service from the hotel had a price tag on it. Anywhere from internet service being a charge […] in the rooms to a basic bottle of water costing $4!!!! Pros - The bed and room layout was nice. Gym was fully equipped. Cons - Some of the towels were old, grungy, off white and very noticeable against the towels that were white. Went to the coffeeshop in hotel in the morning and server was super rude and made rude comments about how crowded it was due to the Salsa Congress. "OK but they don't clean the room everyday"
The hotel does not clean the rooms every day. The sheets were never changed and we stayed 4 nights. The towels were left in the bathroom and the used glasses were never removed or replaced with clean ones. The choices of TV were very limited. The hotel seemed to service seminars and conferences much more than travelers that were staying for other reasons. […] Parking is very expensive and not easy to access. Hotel experience was great. Only caveat was that I was not aware of the $25 a day parking charge.
