Vlakbij vliegveld. Mooi en modern. Ontbijt is op z'n Amerikaans. Gewoon slecht. Dichtbij vielgveld is makkelijk maar ongezellige omgeving. Goed voor 1 nacht.

Prima hotel, goed ontbijtbuffet, tussen 17.30 en 19.30 gratis drankjes en hapjes, lekker zwembad en bubbelbad. 3 blokken verwijderd van THE magnificant mile en iets meer maar ook loopbaar van THE great lakes

Ligging.
Hotel Allegro, a Kimpton Hotel ligt in het centrum van Chicago, op loopafstand van Stadhuis van Chicago, Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre en Merchandise Mart. In de buurt liggen ook Willis Tower en Skydeck Ledge.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel met een spa biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Tegen betaling kan in alle openbare ruimtes een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) worden aangeboden. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 4-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en een limousine- of autoservice. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, een cateringdienst voor evenementen en zakelijke diensten regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spa, een fitnessvoorziening die altijd open is en meertalig personeel. Parkeerruimte is tegen betaling beschikbaar, maar beperkt. Hotel Allegro, a Kimpton Hotel heeft 483 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een (laptop)kluis en een minibar. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met premium beddengoed. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke 37-inch lcd-televisie heeft premiumkanalen via kabel/satelliet en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, een gratis weekkrant en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, designer toiletartikelen, make-up/scheerspiegels en een föhn.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een kluis en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een turndownservice, massagebehandelingen op de kamer en hypoallergeen beddengoed. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. Op de kamers van Hotel Allegro, a Kimpton Hotel mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Een echte aanrader"
De service is uitstekend en de locatie ligt centraal. Een ander voordeel is dat het hotel op loopafstand van het railwaystation ligt.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Allegro hotel. I stayed there recently while attending a conference for work and could not be more pleased. The service was great, hotel was beautiful and chic, my room was spacious, clean and had a great view. The hotel is also close to great shopping on State street and Millennium park. It was a great stay. We've been to the Allegro before and went back because of the location, the friendly staff, the nice decor & cleanliness, and the 5-6 p.m. wine service! I was sorry they'd discontinued Aveda bath products in the rooms, but the Bigelow products were okay. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and the 312 restaurant. Great location, conveniency of hopping on the train at O'Hare, 20 mints later at the station half a block walk to the hotel. Great food around, theaters, river and 4 blocks to millennium park. Can't wait to return.

"Very stylish and comfortable"
Anyone who appreciate style will feel at home in this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful and the rooms look immaculate. Fairly small, but very nice. "Great location"
Can't beat the location of the Hotel Allegro for theater, shopping, and dining in downtown Chicago. Price is so reasonable. The complimentary wine reception was a very nice touch--plenty of places to lounge in the reception area while enjoying a glass of wine. We will stay there again!

Traveled to Chicago all the time, and never stayed at a hotel with a beautiful, stylish King Deluxe Suite. I appreciate the space of the room, jet-tub, and ever so soft bed that I wanted to take home. I forgot to look at the mattress because I want one. The view was great and I love the fact that they have happy hour daily with free wine and beer. You […] must use Valet when staying there otherwise you will regret it. Great Location, Clean Room, Friendly Staff, only downfall was the room and bathroom were small.
"Allegro hotel"
Great! Modern (lots of patterns and bold colors). Friendly. Comfortable. Just right! Not a huge room but fine for my needs. Parking was a little pricy but its downtown and that's comparable to other rates. If you book, jOin kimpton in touch rewards. It's free and gets you free wifi and free minibar. Great! Im not getting ridiculous spam either !

We enjoyed our stay as the staff was extremely accommodating, the rate was fair and the fun kid's gifts were a treat. Very convenient to the theater district, a short walk to shopping and a 20 minute walk to Millenium Park and ice skating. "After Thoughts"
Loved the convenience and accessability to all main attractions,theaters,shopping and great restaurants. We really enjoyed the restaurant in the hotel and were able to walk to several in the immediate vaccinity. Would not hesitate to revisit this hotel.
The hotel was beautiful, but I was disappointed in the size. Very small and it didn't look that way in the photos.
We have family in Chicago who all live in the city. Therefore, the Allegro hotel is very convenient. Furthermore, we love the hotel. It is always our first choice!

The Hotel Allegro is one of my very favorites in Chicago!! It is so conveniently located to the theatres, to shopping, and to the German Christmas Market which I attend every year. The staff is friendly and helpful! The Happy Hour which they have every day at 5 pm is a great treat!! When traveling to Chicago, it will always be my first choice!!

If you like the funky hotel experience, you'll love the Hotel Allegro. Great wine hour, wonderful location and very helpful and warm staff. Who knew we'd need an umbrella in December--but the Allegro staff to the rescue. It's not a super posh room, but the experience itself is so warm and welcoming!

"Clean, pleasant staff"
We stayed at the Allegro because it is in the theater district and was a great price. Overall, I'd say it was an excellent hotel for the price. The decor was fresh, clean, and interesting. The rooms are small but exceptionally clean. It's an easy walk to theaters and shopping. The dining options near the hotel are limited to high end fare and lunch/fast […] food, which was somewhat disappointing. The wine reception offered by the hotel every evening was pleasant (and they have a local beer on offer if you don't like wine), though the wine was not very good. This hotel is located next to the loop , easy access to the airport taking the blue line and no need to exchange trains. We walked everywhere from here and the hotel has great decor plus a nice wine happy hour everyday for free.

Excellent stay at this Kempton. Loved the location. Note: Being from another city I was slightly disappointed as to getting help for methods for getting from hotel to restaurant to United Center.
