Charlotte Marriott City Center in Charlotte

hotel and people were great. one room had a dirty towel and soap in the bath room. one room was not ready until after 5:00 pm. everything else was great.

nice size room, comfortable bed; extremely good location, walking distance to nighlife......excellent workout room and nice indoor pool....parking garage a bit confusing, but otherwise, a very good hotel, including friendly front desk service

Nice hotel, we stayed 1 night but it was St Patricks Day and there were a lot of young people chatting in the hall and in the rooms around 10-11 pm, we had to call about 5 times reception to take care of the situation, could not sleep because of the noise, they finally were able to take care of it.

We used this hotel as the hub for my Bachelorette Party and it was perfect. There is parking under the hotel (not free) and everything is in walking distance. Also, the staff are wonderful.

Great hotel, close to Morton's Steakhouse. Great cigar Bar! Sam the Bartender is an Icon for Cutter's bar.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and accomdating. Great customer service!

I really enjoyed the breakfast that was served in the First Light restaurant.

Clean, Comfortable, and pleasant service.

Good location to everything. Hotel had everything needed, Room was comfy, but small. King size bed was nice. Everthing was good except room did not have a frig or microwave.

This isn't a huge Marriott so service is good. We saw many of the same staff repeatedly during our three day stay and they were always very polite and remembered us. The room was updated, clean and comfortable. Room service was prompt and food was fine. Would definitely stay here again vs. the huge Hilton and Westin closer to the convention center. […] The walk to convention center was 6 easy blocks. Downtown area is very clean, safe and welcoming. Great place, nice employees very pleasant and wanted to take care of all my needs

walking distance to the maine attractions. very comfortable room. however movies on demand extremely expensive $13-$20 per movie. and quality of he picture is not worth the price. I also wish there was internet excess in the room . otherwise great stay. I will stay there again.

Wonderful hotel for the price. Very nice rooms, extra comfortable bed. Didn't like paying for parking but can live with it.

Excelltent hotel location to everything uptown Charlotte . Walking distance to Bank of America Stadium,home of the Charlotte Panthers which was where we were headed for the game on Sunday. Great Hotel, Great Location, Great rooms. Both nights we stayed they had no valet parking and one night had no on site parking available at all. The whole valet and parking situation really sours you when you get back from a night out and have no where to park.

This is the third time that we have stayed here in the past year as my wife and I like to travel to Charlotte periodically. Labor day weekend, we stayed at the Marriot and they were even more busy than normal. It was a holiday weekend and the USC football team was staying there. The valet parking was unavailable so we had to park around the corner in […] a parking garage. That was alright. The dealings with the front desk staff was a pleasant experience once again. The only downfall has been that the last two times we have visited Cutters (the cigar bar in the lobby) they have truely treated us like they did not care whether or not we were there (Rude). They don't have to worry about whether or not we are there from now on. Even though Cutters is managed by the Marriot we won't stop staying at the hotel because it is definetely a great place to stay. Lees meer

We requested a family room, enough for 4 adults and one child of 15 years (detailed on the booking), when we arrived there were only two double beds with no roll out bed/sofa bed. When we queried the booking with the hotel we were told this was unavailable and had to book an additional room.

Good location near city center , walking distance to major landmark , good breakfast as well and friendly service.

The hotel was nice, but not outstanding. The room we stayed in (a Deluxe) was also pretty nice, but it seemed small... it reminded me of the room we stayed in on a cruise boat -- kind of tight, especially the bathroom. Pros: large flat screen tv, super comfy bedding, outstanding in hotel restaurant, decent exercise room and pool

Close to everything, you do have to pay $12/day to self park, but you can go in and out with your room key

We just so happened to be staying at this hotel during the festival. The hotel is downtown, very nice, clean, upscale, walking distances to local bars and resturants. Was very impressed.

If you are staying in downtown Charlotte and want to be in walking distance of the restaurants and bars in the area. This is an excellent and affordable place to stay.

The Hotel is proximity to everything. I love staying there.

I loved this hotel, my only complaint is the picture was very fuzzy on the tv. They fixed it and the fuzz returned in 5 mins, also no free wifi. Otherwise great hotel.

I loved the hotel!!! It was very clean and nice. Great room for the price. We had no trouble what so ever and all the staff was really nice and very helpful.

Great hotel and very convenient to a lot of nightlife, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. Comfortable room & friendly atmosphere.

Overall good My key did not work 1st time but they gave me a small comp gifty to ake up. Nice pool and room was nice

When we got to the room we found that there was no fridge, but one was brought up and set up within 15 minutes of our arrival. Very fast and courteous service. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The hotel was overall fine however my room smelled like mold. May have been because I was on the floor above the pool but not awesome.

Great location...easy walking distance to the convention center and dozens of great resturaunts. great resturants and bars on site...the cigar lounge was great!!

We walked everywhere including to a nearby sports arena for a concert. Our room was quiet and the staff was friendly.

The hotel is in a great location; it is one block away from the Time Warner Cable Arena. Our room was very clean, and there are nice restaurants in the lobby area. However, I didn't like having to pay $12 a day for parking.

Location, location, location! The location is awesome. There are lots of restaurants, shops, and bars nearby. The Epicenter is less than 2 blocks away. The room was very clean and had a nice appearance. Overall, wonderful place to stay!

The hotel in Charlotte was amazing. Close to all sports arenas, restaurants for everyone's taste, plus you are in the very center of the city. Beautiful scenery of cities skyline. Everything you could need for a great getaway, special occasion or business trip. The best of the best.
