Hotel seemed to be new. Very clean. As a matter of fact, it was difficult to find the entrance to the parking lot due to lack of a sign. The hotel was very quiet at night. The rooms were big and nice, the bad was the doors are really sqeaky. You can here whenever anyone comes into any room within 5 doors of your room. Loud enough to wake you up. and there was very little hot water. it was more just barely warm water. Other than that the room was great. Updated bathrooms and nice sheets, comfy pillows.

The hotel itself was attractive, clean, and comfortable, and the young man who checked us in at the front desk was kind and accommodating. I understand that it was a busy weekend, but did wonder why a used food tray with dishes remained on the floor of our hall for the full 20 hours we were there. The complimentary breakfast left something to be desired. […] Our food -- waffles and bacon -- was adequate, but the server didn't have the sense to bring the butter before our waffles were cold; she may need more training. Also, my daughter asked for a bit of brown sugar instead of syrup for her waffle and the girl said that was impossible, though other items on the menu mentioned brown sugar. Spent the night on the 3rd floor above the pool. Kids and adults were playing and yelling loudly until past 10;30 PM. It made for a hard time going to sleep.

Went to games and was right in the midle of all. Room was all new and clean. Great price for the room.

The rates were quite competitive. But the hotel, although remodeled recently, was still in need of repair/improvement. Only found one working soft drinks machine. The mini fridge was ok, but the microwave was circa 1975. Maids missed cleaning our room two out of five days. The toilet stopped up one afternoon, and after calling the front desk we were […] told housekeeping would be notified to fix it. They never showed up. When we got back to the room at 9pm, the lady at the front desk was the only one still on duty. She locked up the lobby and brought us a plunger to unclog the toilet ourselves. The free wifi was HORRIBLE! Constantly going in and out. Very frustrating. On the positive side, the queen beds were very comfortable. The hotel is very close to I-17. Pool and hot tub were small but nice. It's decent enough to stay in if you aren't looking for a ton of amenities. You'll get what you paid for. Lees meer

This hotel is ok. The location is a little out of the way of downtown Phoneix and the area that the hotel is located in is not the best but not bad. We were disappointed that housekeeping would not come clean our room and when they did they just pulled up the comforter and somewhat fixed the pillows. They never changed our linens and we were there for […] 5 days. Our phone didnt work and we called everyday to have it fixed but no one ever showed up to fix. So we were not very impressed. The room was nice, recently upgraded. However, and this isn't necessarily the hotel's fault, loud guests made for a sleepless night. A neighboring room must have opened and closed their door over 30 times between 11PM and 1AM with the TV at full blast. I could hear every sound AND hear exactly what was on the TV. Reservation was a little messed up but staff remmedy it fast. Also I accidently gave clerk $100 dollar bill by mistake for some ice cream. They kept it and retuned it next day. Would have been easy for them to keep. Thanks again staff.

this hotel was very clean. one of the nicest places i've stayed at in a while. i would definitely stay there again.

I like to acknowledge your front desk who looks like "Jamie Lee Curtis".. i forgot her name but didn't forget what she looks like. She was very helpful and people-oriented individual.. Kudos to you! Cons: didn't know that energy charge is a separate fee. no biggie for $3. Thank you.

My wife was very happy with the comfort of the bed and she continues to rave about the pillows. So much so in fact that she wants to buy one for herself at home.

This hotel is terrific in all way. The rooms were beautify and the swimming pool and other facilities were top notch. The staff were very helpful as well. The only surprise was a 3 dollar per night Eco charge which the hotel did not explain at check-in. Our Hotels.com booking stated that the bill was paid in full- including all fees and taxes. I liked this hotel overall. My room was mostly new/remodeled, though the drain in new bathroom sink didn't work well. Most of the rest of the hotel was still under renovation, as well as the pool and hot-tub area. I recently stayed at the Ramada Inn within the past week. Yes, there is major outside renovations going on, but to be honest it wasn't as noisy as I thought. I normally stay at this particular hotel, based on location, price and the friendly staff. The only area of improvement I can offer, is the continental breakfast. Rooms were nice and up to date. Nice nd comfortable. But was unaware the whole outside of the hotel was under construction, so had to smell dust and wet paint! But overall serves our purpose.

The pictures of the room were true however, there was nothing stated that it was under complete renovation. The ice makers did not work, the pool area was a comlete work zone with trash everywhere, the refriderator in the room did not work... When we drove up we were surprised.. It was be remodeled...The pool and spa was empty and dirty outside ladder work people all over floor out hallway bad and office and food were in bad shape..But it was close to where we needed to be.. I would not recommend going there until finished remodeling..I understand it will be a different name also??

I will make this short and to the point. Thought it was a great deal because it's Phx. Turns out the entire building is under construction and completely scaffolded. The entrances are sometimes blocked and re-routed. The Owners decided it would be a great idea to throw a party at the (empty) pool cor the construction workers until 1am last Thurs. I […] called the front desk every 20 minutes as my room was directly adjacent to the pool area and was told there wasn't much she could do because it was the owners partying. I was staying for 5 nights to attend a wedding and had already shopped for groceries and moved in. I only stayed so I wouldn't have to schlep all my belongings around Phx. I was assured upon checking in that the construction noise would end areound 5 every night... had to take sleeping pills every night to fall asleep.. I wouldn't let housekeeping in the entire time because construction workers were up and down the halls all day and didn't want to risk having anything stolen. I wish I could say I packed up and left, I was way too busy as I was on Maid of Honor duties... I would stay far away! We arrived at this hotel and it looked like a bomb shelter with scaffolding around the entire exterior. The carpet in my room was so disgusting I didn't want anything to touch it, even my feet in socks. The remodel was very intense with workers lounging outside of my room after work having a party. Never again will I go for the "deal",

As of mid-October 2011, this hotel was undergoing an extensive renovation. From the parking lot to the lobby to the roof, there were workmen and trucks everywhere. This could be a problem for some guests, but I got to see the staff working well under challenging conditions. Even with all the disruption, they still served a very nice continental breakfast […] every morning from 6:30 until 10:00 (they opened it early for me after I pounded on the door, not realizing what the hours were). When the renovation is done, this place is going to be gorgeous. I did not get to sample many of the amenities, such as the pool and spa, since they were closed. I did make frequent use of the business center. My one suggestion is that they upgrade their internet on the desktop PC they helpfully provided. The connection was VERY slow. The printer didn't seem to be working, either, but I didn't have dire need of it. My bed was very comfortable and well-made (my pet peeve being sheets that untuck from the mattress). Lots of pillows and a reading light built into the headboard. The climate control was good. The TV was a little eccentric, displaying channels that didn't match what was on the screen. The bedside alarm clock was easy to use. I had plenty of storage space. The lighting was good. The bathroom was spacious. I stayed alone, so am not sure whether the sliding door to the bathroom would afford a good amount of privacy for two occupants. But otherwise, the bathroom was nice. The shower spray was too weak for my taste, but the lighting was good; towels and toiletries were in very good supply. The hair dryer worked very nicely. So did the fridge and microwave. The safe did not seem to work -- I got an "error" message the first time I attempted to open and use it. The hallway exit door nearest my room didn't accept my card key so I was in the habit of always using the front entrance. This may have had something to do with the construction. Construction going on, so no pool and we were woken up early by noise. Not disclosed prior to booking. When we arrived to check in, our room had been given to another guest with a similar name. Had to wait while that was straightened out. When we got into our room, there was trash in the bathrom trashcan. Let's just say it wasn't just paper. It was […] pretty disgusting. Even tho they are renovating the hotel the rooms that they have available are nice and comfortable. The king size beds I have slept in are very comfortable. I have stayed several weeks at this hotel and had no issues. The staff was very friendly.

The hotel was under construction and although the rates were discounted due to this, it would have been nice to have known that prior to arriving at the hotel.

For multiple reasons! For starters this hotel is undergoing major rennovations, thus there's noise all morning-day-night! There's dust particles everywhere, men working around you, above you, walking back and forth while you're trying to either get to your room or your vehicle. We were awaken by drills and hammering at 7 am! The front desk was incredibly […] rude, not to mention wasn't going to give me my room because they wanted a deposit that was NEVER mentioned upon making my reservation, nor were they going to refund me! They gave me a receipt of my deposit and after I finally coughed it up, during my stay (which was for a medical appointment in Phoenix for my 3 year old that I make monthly 3 hour trips to do, and wanted to enjoy an evening in comfort so I booked this hotel) I lost this receipt and when I wanted to check out the clerk was NOT going to refund my deposit because of this!! When I checked in, the door to my room was not shut and opened with a simple push, as many of the rooms were including the next room over that my 3 year old son pushed open. I brought my kids along so that we could enjoy the pool (as Phoenix weather usually requires) however due to construction, it was closed!! The door to get back into the hallway from where we parked was held open by a small piece of trimming that was kicked out of the way after 9 pm so my room key would NOT open the door, I had to go all the way to the lobby (that is merely indicated by the small cheesy sign they wrote on a piece of plywood with a sharpie to point out) then clear down the hall to my room. The walls were very thin, so I heard everything from everybody, not to mention my kids aren't super quiet so I'm sure they were heard as well. The entrance is also the exit to this place, and it's so small and awkward that I passed it up when I arrived to check in. The hotel was under construction inside and out. my room was absolutly beautiful from the soft tones to the bathroom Wow! the only thing that was missing was a palm tree, jacuzzi. Great rate! I'd go there again. The only minus was the freakin entrance to the parking lot due to construction, the fact that it's sits right on the corner.

For the price, you won't find better. Rooms are remodeled with quality. Stone tiles, and marble counters. Refrigerator, microwave, and safe. Free WIFI, cable, iron, hair dryer Included full breakfast with lots of choices, eggs, donuts, waffles, cereals, etc. Problem, not finished remodeling. Outside looks like a building that is abandoned. Construction […] wakes you up early in the morning. Also, the walls are very thin, could here everything happening in the next room....EVERYTHING! It would have been good to know that this hotel is going through a major remodel at this time. The rooms where great but the hotel does not have thier pool, spa or resturant open at this time or for some time to come it looks like. Rooms were very nice for the price.. i'm sure it's because of the construction, the reason for the great rate; however, they make you pay a $100 deposit in addition to the charge of the room. It's refundable if there are no room charges within the stay, but it takes over a week to have the $100 charge removed from your card, which in this economy puts […] a strain on bank accounts. This hotel was amazing! I loved the rooms and after a long day of travel, when we showed up to the hotel, they had complimentary welcome dinner. It was really tasty. Everyone was extremely polite and the facility is very nice! I would pay more to stay here in comparison to the other options in the area! Great job Hiltons!

Was under remodel but the staff was still accommodating. Quite inexpensive.

When we arrived to the hotel this past weekend, the whole thing was being remodeled! The lobby had no ceiling, the side doors were blocked, the sides of the hotel were covered with black tarp and scaffolding and we were awoken at 7 am with pounding above our heads. When asked initially about the noise on check in, I was assured work did not start until […] 9 AM and the opposite end of the hotel was currently being worked on, so we wouldnt have any problems. The hotel is under major renovation but the rooms are already finished. The rooms are in good condition the only negative is the construction noise.

The hotel is doing major construction, but I have justed booked my 3rd week at this hotel. The rooms are very nice inside and the staff has been excellent. I feel very comfortable and safe in my room.

This hotel was good. Service was good. It was under a renovation which sucked. When we got in the room we had to kill cockroaches which is nasty.

The hotel staff was good. Room smelled like smoke althought it was a non smoking hotel. My tolit seat moved when I sat down and ended up sitting on the rim of the tolit. I made sure to alert the desk upon check out. The hotel was good all in all. The people renting rooms is another story. I know the hotel can't make people be respectful and considerate […] of others. But I think people are just plain rude, inconsiderate. My daughter is still there, but the cost per night is just getting to much. She has to look somewhere else before the week-end.
