Location was two turns off an access road and difficult to find, even knowing where the address should be. Needs considerable updating from decorator and maintenance perspective. It truly smelled like a nursing home with a combination of "old" and cleaning solutions. Broken tiles, stained carpet. The first room we were given had filth in the bathroom sink and wouldn't drain. We were quickly given another room but it had a toilet that would barely flush. The mattresses were old and lumpy. This is an old hotel with obvious things needing work. However, the staff was wonderful. The indoor pool is nice but the pool tables are old. The Ping Pong […] table is crooked. There was one torn up mini-golf hole but we didn't see any pool sticks, golf clubs, balls or ping pong paddles. The free breakfast didn't have much. Lees meer

We stayed here on our way to Dallas. The hotel itself is big and has A,B,C and D sections almost like a Hyatt(Joke) but it is isnt one. It is old and sections of the hallway were dusty and smelly. Has the feel of an apartment complex. The room was clean and ok. They gave us two breakfast coupons for an adjacent restaurant which includes 2 toast and […] egg OR 1 sausage and something else. So it was kinda unusual. Luckily on the day of our stay they had so called Fake buffet wherin a guy gave ONE serving of scrambled eggs, bacon strips, sausage gravy and biscuits. Besides this wierd breakfast arrangement the hotel served our purpose of place to rest for the night. Will check out other places next time around. Lees meer

The hotel was almost full upon my arrival, and my type of room reserved was not available. That was a disappointment. However, the room was comfortable, but the hotel could use a little work. It looked run down in places.

Just passing through town on trip from NC to TX, so we got in late and left early. We actually booked through Hotels.com while in the parking lot. Location was convenient to interstate, but we did not hear any noise. Hotel was clean and staff was pleasant and ready to assist. The room was ready and comfortable. The indoor pool and game room were great for an overnight stay to help entertain my child, but was disappointed I couldn't order a movie that night. Hotel was older but basically clean. Breakfast was ok, buffet would have been easier but staff is friendly. On site restaurant is now a Mexican food place with decent food and prices. I would stay again […] for a good price. Lees meer

Hotel was decent. The lay out is great, pool, a little putting green, work out area, etc. You can tell that it's needs a little TLC. The room was good you just had to let the water run a little bit to get the rust out. But that really wasn't that big of a deal. Got a great price on the room and thought it was worth the money. Service was fine - room had nice new furnishings and was clean. However, the air conditioner in the room did not come close to keeping up and it was uncomfortably warm all night. For the rate paid, I expected more.

The front desk was very helpful when I needed more shampoo & conditioner. The area around the pool was not clean. There was a cricket in the pool and on the floor in our room. The bedspread didn't appear to be clean. The biggest problem was the temperature of the room. My stay at this hotel was pleasant. The friendliness of the staff at check-in was as good as anywhere I've stayed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the internet service was the fastest of any hotel I've visited. When in the area, I will definitely go back.

Overall our stay was good except we had a dirty coffee cup in our room for our morning coffee. The rooms were nice but over priced!! The receptionists were very helpful in giving us the rooms we needed. There was no breakfast except in the restaurant. For the price we paid, we should have received at least a continental breakfast!!!!!

There aren't very many hotels located in Texarkana, so I was kind of stuck with a hotel that I knew from the start would be average. I think this hotel has been renovated somewhat, however, the bathroom was very old, outdated, tub needs to be replaced. The rest of the room was clean and updated. (Room 218 Pool side) needed a good clean as bathroom was dirty. Sliding glass door to balconey had not seen any Windex in a long time. Balconey was covered in cigarette ashes, towels and TP were hard to come by. Hotel needs a good steam clean top to bottom will stay at the Holiday Inn Express next time.

This place is amazing especially if you have kids....the only problem that I had with this hotel is the room would not cool very good. Listen, I have stayed in a lot of hotels in all kinds of temps and the air conditioners in the two rooms I tried were just not big enough. If they could upgrade these units, this hotel would be amazing...especially for […] the price. Ping pong tables, pool tables, indoor pool and game rooms to go along with the Hot Tub makes this a must if you have kids. The Mexican restaurant needs some improvement.....the chips were stale when we ate dinner there. The breakfast was nice tho. Great hotel for the money! Worst part was the breakfast, nothing to rely on.

We were so impressed with the lay out of the pool area. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

The complimentary breakfast appeared to allow for eggs or pancakes to be ordered but they only allowed us to choose from the buffet and no orange juice was part of the choice. You would have to pay extra for that.

This hotel needs some major work done on the AC all over the hotel. In the atrium it was 87 and when I got in my room it was warm turned on the AC and went for a bite to eat down stairs in the restaurant which was good and gave you lots of food for the money.After about 2 hours the room was still warm,went to bed and was freezing.

Awesome. Clean. Friendly staff. Kids loved it also. Would recommend to anyone

Horrible!!! Don't stay here!! I was assigned a room and walked into people who were already staying in that room!! When I brought it to the front desk attention they were extremely rude about getting me another room!! There was dirty linen up and down the hallways from where the rude housekeeping girls were cleaning rooms and you couldn't even wheel […] your luggage without tripping over dirty towels..reeked of cigarette smoke even though supposedly nonsmoking.. Ok, I know that people party on new year's eve. That's a given, but a hotel is not made for parties. It is made for resting. We could handle the partying until about 12:30 am. But, it was 3:00 in the morning before management came up and made the people turn off their music and settle it down. Why so late??? We have stayed at the LaCrosse several times while in Texarkana, and it has improved steadily. This trip was very nice, as all the renovations are complete and the hotel is fully functional again. The pool and hot tub are nice, and the staff was friendly. The only thing I would like to see is larger, firmer pillows, but that's more of a personal preference, […] and not a knock on the hotel! The breakfast was not very good in fact it was non-exsistant. It should have been classified as an afterthought than a breafast itself. Additionally, in appropriate TV channels were being broadcast when children were present. I would not stay here again knowing there are other hotels near by with better customer service.

We have stayed here before, and have been pleased each time. The earlier renovations are now complete, and this is truly a nice hotel to stay at. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with reasonable rates.

younger maintence guy was little creepy....on website it posts "pets allowed", should state "deposit reguired for pets". I could had easily stayed next door at LQ where pets are always free!

Good value

The comfort of our room was fine....but it was a non-smoking room that reaked with smoke smell. Either it wasn't a non-smoking room before, or someone smoked inside of it. It just seems sterile. But it was about what I expected after having stayed at the Holidome before it was converted to the La Crosse. It was okay for the money.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and courteous. I would recommend staying here.

Will stay here again.

this hotel is an old Hoiday Inn/Holidome staff was very friendly....hotel was beginning to be run down...but was clean, pool was warm I would stay here again and I am kind of picky

The room was very nice. Staff was friendly and made the overall experience a great one. Loved the pool and hottub!

The pool and hot tub were great. No premium t.v. When asking about H.B.O we were told by the front desk clerk that he was pentacostal and did'nt watch t.v. and did'nt watch movies. They had a desk in our room for one person and no dining table and nowhere for the two of us to sit together. The cook and our wait staff were great.

There are a lot of hotels in the area but I decided to try an independent. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. It has a nice restaurant attached to the lobby. I would stay again!

Restaurant/Bar smelled quite smokey. Room was nice, comfortable bed, phone basically didn't work (buzzed).......

The staff was very friendly, I was able to make slight modifications of my room without extra charge, there is a small area for little kids to play near the pool area. All the jets of the LARGE hot tub didn't work tho. Salt water pool NICE!

Best described as an old, stale Hotel that was trying to keep up with the bigger chains, but couldn't.
