Hilton San Francisco Downtown/Financial District in San Francisco

Het hotel ligt toch wel een stukje lopen buiten de bezienswaardigheden in San Francisco. De kamer zag er redelijk uit, maar we hadden meer verwacht van dit hotel. Op de kamers is geen koelkast aanwezig. We hadden een hotelkamer aan de achterkant waar een bouwput was, niet echt prettig.

Het hotel ligt hartje downtown in San Francisco direct grenzend aan de Chinese wijk die een bezoek alleszins waard is. Verder liggen ook de grote warenhuizen in de directe omgeving evenals het gebied met veel Italiaanse restaurants. Het hotel biedt de service die bij een hotel van deze allure hoort. Heel goed.

Hotels in SF waren vooraf erg duur. In het weekend was dit hilton hotel goedkoper en dus genomen. Eigenlijk voelt het hotel niet echt hilton, maar meer een groot hotel met een luxe lobby. We hadden goede kamers met goede bedden en een goede badkamer. Wat heb je meer nodig. Wat wel echt minder was, was dat de kamers erg gehorig waren. oordoppen moesten […] we in doen. Duidelijk minder. We liked that it was within walking distance of many sights Embarcadero, Voit tower, Little Italy, Chinatown, etc...

Overall it was a good stay. Late night guest services was not the friendliest.

Parking was expensive. Glass ware left in hallway for days. Construction. Dirty neighborhood.

The hotel stay was great. The only issue I see is with the cost of parking. $45 per night for self parking in the hotel garage or $55 for valet parking. That is outrageous. But all was great because we found public parking across the street on Washington for just $10 a night.

The service was excellent, the room was very clean if a little small. My only issue was the mattress was on the older side so we sank into it and it was a little uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, I would stay there again.

Expensive and still charge an arm for parking will never stay again

Hotel was very noisy. Could here city workers, people talking from the street, trash pick up noise, boat horn and loud tourist within hotel. Difficult to sleep with so much noise. Comfort of bed very poor. Matress not hard enough.

I liked that the Hilton was clean, the staff all were helpful and very friendly. I really liked the room, it was clean comfortable, and had a nice view of Coit tower and the bay. In any big city the hotels will have some noise outside, cars or police sirens. This wasn't a problem but it will happen. We had good neighbors, and were quiet, you can hear […] a lil bit of noise from rooms next to you, but not a big problem. I liked their pillows, as I'am not someone that like Huge over sized pillows. Down stairs they have a full bar and a small wine bar and snack bar that sells coffee. Close to bars a places to eat, and cabs are easily found up front. It's was really good, Great hotel; in the center of downtown. The only thing, I would of like to know in advanced they there was going to be a valet charge for valet.

Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Conveniently located between china town and north beach. close to BART as well.

The Hilton provids great service from the Valet, wine bar and the front desk. Everyone was nice and answered any and all questions I had. The Lobby as that welcoming clean feeling, as well as a busy feeling. It does have many visitors going to different parts of SF. Cabs are easily caught from the Valet area. If not they will easily call for one. They […] have a two bars down stairs, although one is a wine bar, and the other a full bar. Room had a great view of the bay and Coit tower. It was a cean comfy room, and I my self loved their pillows. They do charge for parking, which was the only negitive and if you are a real picky person you might note you can hear a lil bit of the noise of the room next to you, but not much, as well as some noise from the outside traffic, but once asleep you won't notice. Loved the interior of the hotel. Very good customer service. Very nice and comfortable room with a great view of the bay. Will definitely choose this hotel for my next trip.

Great location and helpful, friendly staff. Room was very nice.

easy get the everything

I chose this location for it's central location to the Ferry Bldg, Union Square and the Wharf. I'm not crazy about the immediate surroundings though. Would prefer to be able to walk out of the hotel and find shops and more restaurants. Plan to spend a little more next time to be in Union Square area or Wharf.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. Location is OK if you're after Embarcadero and surrounds. Bus is all directions and Bart is nearby the hotel. Other Restaurants and Chinese restaurants are everywhere. All staffs that work there are so welcoming. House keeping is spot-on and very accomodating. Reception staff during my check-in is very pleasant and provides […] relevant info. Windows though needs regular cleaning. So overall it's 9 out of 10 for me. Lees meer

My family and I had such a wonderful time at the Hilton San Francisco. I was extremely impressed with how nice that staff was to me my wife and especially my 3year old son. 5 stars

Beautiful rooms with beautiful views! Great Customer Service, very nice people work there!..They made my stay as well as my husband's very memorable! =)

Nice hotel- However no pool and parking quite expensive

Hilton very convenient to north beach and Chinatown. We paid extra for a bay view which actually use to be magnificent! HAD a great view of Voit Tower and the Bay, but that was 5 years ago. We ended paying more for a view of the new steel and glass building that kept its lights on all night. Small room. Run down section of town. Super friendly service. Relative price to higher-star hotels in vicinity made me be content.

We love this hotel and stay there every time we're in SF. It's within walking distance of Chinatown and North Beach which we love. Rooms are cozy and clean. Room service is great. Highly recommend.

I wasnt aware that there was a charge for valet parking. I was never told that there would be a charge at check in time. I found out when i got the bill under my door in the morning. This was my first time in San Francisco maybe the hilton has always charged its customers for parking their if so i was unaware.

This hotel and room was quite nice and comfortable. Unfortunately there was some construction going on next door which woke me up early and due to the one way streets the only way to get back to the hotel with my car was down an alley. It was a good deal, but not perfect.

Very nice king size room far from elevator, the view was absolutely great! Only negative the windows were so dirty it was hard to enjoy the views of the Bay and across the bay.

The hotel was clean and in an excellent location - especially since we were going to an event in Chinatown. Lots of shops and Chinese restaurants. Walking distance to the Embarcadero and Union Square. We stayed in one room with our 2 teenage daughters. It was small but comfortable enough. Even though we made the reservation for four people, they only […] supplied 3 bath towels. When I called housekeeping for more towels, the staff was very pleasant but the towels never showed up. Not a huge deal. Also, parking at the Hilton is $45 per night. We parked in the Portsmouth garage across the street under the Chinatown park. It was $27 per night. Lees meer

I really enjoy having a fridge and microwave in my room they failed to have that.. Otherwise it was great. :)

It was nice but def and above average business hotel. Room was okay size - def not small - and stocked but not luxurious. Very comfy bed. Loca was excellent - ate at a fun & delicious Italian rest - Ideale - recc by Neil at the front desk. Would go back but not for a vaca but a place to stay. Go to the Ferry bukiding on Sat/Sun morn - excellent.

With the exception of the hide-away door that covers the air unit falling off, the room was very nice and quite cozy. The wifi was not free and the parking was very expensive. Barring those 2 items, I would recommend staying at this location.
