Het hotel ligt niet bepaald in een mooie omgeving, maar het is heel makkelijk om Boston te bereiken. Binnen 3 mijlen zijn er ook veel goede restaurants. De kamer was prima en de bedden wederom : heel netjes, groot genoeg, goede badkamer. Veelzijdig ontbijt met genoeg ruimte voor iedereen (komt niet vaak in de VS!). Wij zaten daar gedurende orkaan Irene : wij moesten dus de hele dag in onze slaapkamer blijven en kregen gratis van het hotel een lunch. Prima geregeld!

Erg leuk hotel, fraai oud pand en ruime kamer. Houtwerk en leidingen van verwarming e.d. zijn aan opknapbeurt toe maar eigenlijk draagt dit alleen maar bij aan de sfeer. Net en schoon sanitair. Lekker groot bed. Grote tv met enorm veel zenders, dvd-speler, koelkast etc. Ik raad deze, zeker gezien de prijs, iedereen aan.

The B&B was located very well for trips to cape cod, martha's vineyard, new port and providence. The owners are very friendly and you can enjoy a nice breakfast with the feeling of an american family in the morning.

maps showed it to be 20 min from Boston but be aware of the traffic. I arrived on Wednesday afternoon, took me an hour to get out of Boston from the airport. Anyway, good holiday inn. The lobby smelled if humidity but not the room. The room was great, comfortable beds, big tv, coffee maker. Toilet didn't work upon arrival but was fixed immediately by the nicest guy. About 2 km back in the direction of the highway, there's a little shopping mall, I bought a wonderful salad to go. There is a hotel restaurant and some food chains nearby. For the price it was a perfect stay, a little too far from the airport, time wise, after a 9 hour flight. Don't stay here if you don't have a car, it's too far out for a taxi, otherwise, on your way to the Cape or Rhode Island, it will guarantee you a comfortable night.

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. The waitress in the morning at breakfast was awesome! Enjoyed our stay and will stay there again! Rates were very reasonable also.

Very friendly front desk and at cafe. Food at the pub was great. The health club is a full health club with zumba etc. classes. a perk when you have had a long business day!
"Staff at Holiday Inn Taunton-Foxboro Area"
The hotel was nice, newly updated and the rooms comfortable. The front desk staff weren't all that welcoming, however. They appeared under trained. When inquiring if they had tylenol or knew where I could get some, no one could offer any assistance. Also, the waitress at breakfast the following day dumped her tray all over a man headed to a funeral, […] then went in the back and laughed about it, which was overheard by our table. "Holiday Inn in Taunton MA a pleasant stay"
This place is newly rennovated and decor is very well done. The fitness center is far better than any i have seen. One note however pool is open to 11, but locker room is only open till 9. if you plan to swim or use the hot tub as we did after dinner then you have to have the front desk buzz you in and have no access to the locker room or the fitness […] center. Also, if you buy the free breakfast what you get is a voucher. We were there on a Sunday where they only have a buffet which for two ppl costs more than the valueof the voucher so breakfast was not "free" . And yes the elevators still don't work right. But our stay was enjoyable and because of the convience of the place would go back. Lees meer

transition from Taunton to Holiiday Inn when we were there. small "stuff" was dealt with immediately . good food, service and very open and clean. woulld go out of my way to stay there again. August 2011. booked 1 night then extended to a second. book "hotels.com" for good rate 800-224-6835.....my favourite booking source.
"NO POOL, NO BAR, NO NOTIFICATION, NOT HAPPY"
The pool was closed on the hottest day of the year and the bar was also closed. I never recieved any notification of these issues. Could have stayed home and no pool or bar.
"Under major renovations"
Wish I had known from hotels.com that they were under major renovations I would have stayed elsewhere. Spoke with the manager about issues I had with the room and the stay and they said they would refund 50% of costs.

"Great Deal"
Hotel was undergoing renovations but had no impact on my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable and staff was friendly. I have stayed in hotel rooms more then twice the cost that didn't match the quality and service I received.
"Taunton Inn and Conference Center"
This hotel is currently undergoing renovations, however, our room was very quiet, clean and comfortable. There is a large pool and exercise room available to hotel guests. The only negative was the Sunday morning breakfast buffet. The made to order omelet was great, but everything else must have been sitting out for hours. Even the pancakes were hard.
