De werknemers van dit hotel geven uitstekende service. De kamers zijn ruim en van alles voorzien. Het is een rustig hotel waarvandaan je makkelijk de twin cities kan gaan bekijken maar ook snel de stad uit bent. Kan dit hotel zeker aanraden bij mensen en wanneer ik weer in Minneapolis moet zijn dan zal ik zeker hier weer verblijven.
Ligging.
Millennium Hotel Minneapolis bevindt zich in het centrum van Minneapolis, dicht bij Congrescentrum van Mnneapolis, Basiliek van St. Mary en Target Center. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome en Park Mill Ruins.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Millennium Hotel Minneapolis heeft een binnenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. Dit hotel met met 3,5 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum, een secretariaat en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, evenementencatering en hulp bij excursies regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere meertalig personeel, een cadeaushop of kiosk en een wasserij. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling parkeren.

"Good staff"
It was an older hotel and the bathrooms could use a remodel but it was clean and the staff was excellent, beds were upgraded and super comfy.

"Disappointing"
The lobby area is very nice; however, this does not carry over into the guest rooms. My room was dingy, poorly "decorated" (using the term loosely), and outdated. The heating/air-conditioning did not work.

"Nice hotel. Parking situation needs to be helped."
I frequently travel to Minneapolis. This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel. I like the hotel, and the location, and the bar at the hotel is nice too. My only issue is the parking. The parking garage next door (what they call a parking ramp in minneapolis) is not owned by the hotel. It is a real old and really weird parking facility. The […] route driving up and down through the parking facility and some of the parking spaces are just strange. You have to see it to know what I am talking about. There are NO elevators and it DOES NOT accept credit cards. What year is this? Ridiculous. Plus is it $14 per night while garages next to other hotels (such as the Westin) are $8 per night and there are some that are $6. Lees meer

Got a room/parking deal. We were upgraded to a suite. Everything was nice. Comfy bed. Two led tvs. Enjoyed Martinis Bar in the lobby. Convenient parking right @ the hotel. Can't complain about a thing.
The rooms are a tad small. The bathrooms need updating, as the shower/tub was also small and hard to get around in. A curved shower curtain would make a huge difference. Also, the lighting in the bathroom is terrible!! We had breakfast a few mornings and that was ok, but ordered room service and that was horrible. Would not recommend the restaurant […] at all. And be sure to check your bill, we were charged for the internet and had to have them remove it after the fact. Lees meer

"Very pleasant"
It was a very comfortable hotel with great service. The aged wallpaper made me appreciate it even more ;) I'm not picky, but I do care about good service and a comfortable bed, which I got both!

The hotel is loacted perfectly for everything that you need to do in downtown Minneapolis. The hotel could use a serious makeover as it's really showing it's age, & for the price that you pay I expect a lot newer rooms & features. My toliet always was running no matter how many times it was attempted to be fixed. Had many problems with my room key not […] working. Overall I would most likely not stay at this hotel again. I hadn't stayed at the Millenium in several years. It's showing some age, but not a bad value for a downtown hotel. There was construction going on - not much activity in the hotel.

This was the second time I arrived on a Sunday night to find room service suspended, the bar closed, and all but one restaurant in the surrounding area closed.
"Welcome to 1975"
The rooms in this hotel look like they haven't been updated since the mid-70s. My room was 90 degrees and even turning off the heat and opening the window wouldn't. I would never stay there again
"Millenium Hotel - downtown Minneapolis"
We were pleasantly suppriesed at how nice the Mellinium was. Its was clean, updated, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and fitness room were clean and accessable. The hotel itself is located right off the Nicolett Mall, so it is convenient to walk downtown. It is also only a few blocks walk to the train that can take you to Mall […] of America. There are many reviews that say that it is inconveniently located, but I did not have any trouble finding it while making my way around downtown. If y ou are fortunate enough to get free parking, this a nice feature as most hotels charge quite a large fee for parking. The Millenium offered free parking and you could come and go as much as you wished. Overall, we were quite pleased with the deal we received and for the price, the quaility of the hotel was excellent. Lees meer
We were very pleased with the Hotel, but when we booked we asked for a rool away, and when we got there we were told that they could not do that for fire codes and has to take an additional room.

"Good location, uncomfortable beds"
Central location, older building, small quirks from a retrofit. Beds need box springs -- just a mattress on a box. Advertised fitness center was out of order -- no one told us this at check-in, or made alternative arrangements. We rely on exercise when traveling for several nights in a row to avoid travel aches and to de-stress.

We live in the suburbs of Mpls, but stayed in the city to celebrate my birthday. We got the room for a discount over the regular rate and it was fine for what it was, but I was not that impressed since it is supposed to be a higher end hotel. I've stayed at many competitors and was much more impressed with those. The bed was uncomfortable, the room […] was small, there was a pool but no hot tub, no continental breakfast, etc. I expected more for a "classy" hotel, but I've had better stays at Super 8. "Girls night out"
The staff was amazing at the front desk and bar! The room was very dated and some of the ceiling was falling apart. Our room was also set to super hot and we were so uncomfotable we had to open windows- thank goodness they opened. It worked for what we needed. It was a great location from a few restaurants- we walked to Brit's pub which was just down […] the road 2 blocks. Then took a cab to Block E which was $6 to the bars there.. sneaky petes, brothers, ect... I would go there again just for the staff. "Pubic hair in the washcloths"
The lobby of the hotel was beautiful and clean. The staff was very nice but the room cleanliness left much tp be desired. The first room had facial hair all over the sink from someone elses stay. The second room had pubic hairs in the waahclothes and towels. The manager did however bring fresh hand-picked towels, 20% discount on the stay and 2 free […] breakfasts. Unfortunately after I checked out they double billed my room. When I called they immediately called my bank and reversed the charges. All was corrected in under 3 hours. Lees meer
"Killer Location, Super friendly satff"
Loved the staff at the Millennium! The lounge is cool and the food/drink prices seemed really reasonable. You are right in the middle of downtown with easy walking to shops, bars, restaurants, theaters. The pool is an over-lit bummer but the views were amazing from the 10th floor and again, the staff rocked.

Advertises free parking, but it is a public parking ramp, so I had to wait 30 minutes to get a parking spot!!!!
"Millennium Hotel of Minneapolis, MN"
Enjoyed the stay at the Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis, it was very convenient to the Convention Center. We would have preferred better lighting in the bathroom and an elevator from the parking lot to get to the proper floor of the hotel to check in, rather than carry luggage up and down the stairs. Restaurant was convenient and very nice.

A beautiful hotel, very clean and great service. Beds were so comfy you didn't want to get up in the morning! Preferred a softer pillow tho. Recommend it to anyone.

Has a nice pool and sauna. it was pretty clean, except there must have been a bachelorette party there cause there was some things left behind on the windows and one of my kids did see it. sooo. knowing they had that they could have scaned the room better. besides that it was a great stay

"Millenium Hotel"
The room smelled like stale smoke. The wallpaper was outdated by at least 2 decades in the bathroom otherwise it was a nice room. We didn't use any of the other amenities the hotel had, we had plans downtown outside of the hotel so basically we just slept there. It was within walking distance of most of the places we needed to go!
My husband and I loved the decor, very modern and sleek. The bed was extremely comfortable and we were impressed with how quiet it was ( no noise coming throught the walls from your neighbor). The location was excellent and we enjoyed walking to nearby pubs and restaraunts. Would definately stay again!

Not sure how the hotel can remain attached to the Millennium brand. I have stayed in numerous Millennium Hotels; it's one of my favorite brands. But this one is dismal. Totally inadequate room temperature. A sign next to the room's thermostat instructed guests to open the window if the cooling was inadequate. . .so as to let humid air into the room. […] I was told by the front-desk that this was a hotel-wide problem. Impossible to sleep in a room whose temp the thermostat registered as near 80-degrees. Also, there was no door on the closet. When I asked the front desk about that, they again said that it couldn't be helped: "It's a hotel-wide problem." The bathroom sink was cracking and stained around the drain hole. High intensity, off-putting florescent lighting in the foyer and bathroom. Furniture was horribly dated and worn. Motel 6 shines in comparison! Lees meer

"Millennium Minnapolis"
I was expecting much more when I checked into the hotel. The lobby was very clean and welcoming but then when I arrived at the room I was slightly disappointed. The room was decently clean but could have been cleaner. There were marks on the wall that you could tell were old. There was a dried blood stain in the bathroom but I informed the front desk […] about it and they sent someone up to clean it immediately. I was there for one night over St. Patrick's day weekend and didn't plan on staying at the hotel much, it was just a place to lay my head. Overall, the hotel was decent, and it served the purpose I needed it to. It is in a very convenient location near many sight seeing places for those who are unfamiliar with the area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. the only other downside was the parking. It was inconvenient but i was finally able to find a spot and it isn't very surprising since it is in a downtown location. I would recommend this hotel for someone who only needs a place to sleep at night and is looking for a decent stay, but if you are expecting something more, this isn't the hotel for you. Lees meer
"Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis MN"
The Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis MN was a big waste of money. The loby and outside are nice and welcoming but the rooms are dirty and cheap. There was dirty wall paper, stains on the sheets and the room was tiny and no space to move around.
"Not what I thought it was"
I've always heard that the Millenium hotel was this place with plush accomodations and an upgrade from the normal hotels that I stay at. When I saw the special they were running for St. Patricks (2012) I jumped at the chance. I was disappointed that the living room furniture was very old and damaged to the point that it doesn't even belong in a garage […] sale. The air conditioner setting dial was broken and the window couldn't be opened. The bathroom was very tiny with linoleum countertops and old tile on the floor. The location was great for partying downtown since the weather was so great. For the price I would still recommend it but it was a huge letdown for my wife and I after we had such grand expectations, that's probably our fault. With all of that said we had such a great time celebrating we booked a second night at that great price and just asked for a different room. Away from the elevators... This one at least had working windows and AC but the bathroom was still outdated and the furniture wasn't much better. It served it's purpose of a place to crash and that's all we really needed.
