I really cant complain. The only thing i didnt like was the parking. After a certain time you have to park across the street in the other parking lot. Also the pool was small. Other than that. I had a great stay! I will definitly visit again....soon.

The hotel is right on the Boardwalk and the beach. The location is perfect for anything you want to do. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is pretty expensive, but there is a McD's right down the block. I would stay here again.

when I reserved the room Hotels.com and the Hotel it self told me that they have heated pool,when we got there the pool was not open ,they said it needed to be cleaned,very disappointed since we traveled six hours to get there ,my son didnt have the chance to swim since the ocean temp was cold the the hotel pool was closed,the whole trip was for him […] to enjoy a good swim,. I reserved the room because they told me there was indoor heated pool. When we checked in the pool was closed and my son was not happy at all because the weather was cold outside to go into the ocean and the pool in the hotel was closed. We drove six hours to get there and we were Very disappointed

Convenience, clean and great responsiveness of the staffs.

overall the hotel is convenient located on the boardwalk and very close to shops restaurants with in walking distance. only complaint is that you can hear your neighbors talking through the thin walls.

There were stains and some unknown substance on the comforters of both beds. On one bed there was something viscous and dark on the sheets that rubbed off onto our skin. The staff brought new sheets within minutes. The set up of the rooms gives all rooms impressive ocean view. The jets from Oceana airforce base start taking off early in the morning […] so it might be difficult to sleep in. That will be the case with all the hotels in VA beach though. Street noise was not a problem on the sixth floor at all. None of the restaurants we ate at in the boardwalk area were good and they were overpriced. If you want a good meal go into town. Despite the jets I would stay at this hotel again due to location, rooms and rate. On site parking is limited but you will get a pass for reserved parking less than a block away. Lees meer

Resenable rates and very convenience.... Love the holiday in oceanfront va beach

While I found the front desk lazy in handling a simple request, the hotel itself was outstanding. The view was incredible, right on the beach. The pool was very beautiful in terms of architecture and the hotel was extremely modern as it had been newly updated. I have no complaints and would definitely go back again.

Room was dusty, hallway smelled of bleach. Price was high for off season, and no festival or beachfront activity. Need to put extra blanket in the room.

Very nice staff! EVeryone said good morning. Would stay there again for sure.

You can't beat the location, you can't beat the view. The rooms are a little tight, but they're clean. Two double beds just doesn't cut it anymore (two queens would be nice - or one queen and one double?)

Typical room, somewhat significant wear and tear and a musty smell, but perhaps that's par for the course at the beach. Sheets had stains and had to ask housekeeping to replace them. They came up within a couple minutes and were very apologetic. Restaurant was good, nice service staff, and having the kids able to eat free was a nice plus. Overall great hotel! the only minor thing is they should get better TV's.

The parking was awful since they had two very small lots - the one closest to the hotel was almost always full and the over flow lot across the street didn't have any better parking - small spaces and double spaces - we were blocked in our spot for 10 minutes waiting for them to find keys - in 104 degree weather! The hallways were as hot as an oven, […] the elevators were slow, the pool was much smaller than appeared on the website and the workout "room" was more of a small closet stuffed with three machines. The pool towels were so small it was like drying off with a facecloth. Breakfast was okay but not worth the money at all. Our balcony didn't have the brown wood railing as shown on the website - it had white PVD which I didn't trust completely. The plus of staying at this hotel was of course the location. Right where you want to be along the boardwalk - great access to the beach and shopping and many places to eat. The view from the balcony was amazing. Lees meer

Rooms were comfortable and a decent size. Balcony was great overlooking the boardwalk and ocean. Fireworks Wed. night were an unexpected bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful, restaurant was good, pool was small. Location was excellent, middle of the boardwalk.

Great hotel for yoor money . Will stay in this hotel again.

very nice hotel. Enjoyed the convenience and liked it a lot. The only thing that I didn't like is that the rooms were a little small, and the pool was smaller than it appeared on the website. Would still return to the hotel

We stayed in ocean front rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were nice and bed was really comfortable. There was no smell of any kind, no bugs. However overall rooms could be more cleaner. We requested frontdesk twice to clean the chairs in the balcony but there was no service.Overall it was nice but not worth spending what we spent for the room. Location […] of the hotel is perfect as it is centrally located to all the best street restaurants, fast food joints and boardwalk high end restaurants. So it gives you a lots of options according to your budget and mood. Hotel's own restaurant is really average on food. Lees meer

Nice hotel. Room was spacious. View was great. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was nice and clean upon arrival. My only complaint was the housekeeping. We stayed for 4 nights and they made the bed and gave us fresh towels, that's it, nothing else was touched. Two of the days wet towels were left on the floor. The hotel room was neat and clean. There was plenty of space to move around in the room, sit at a desk to do computer work, lounge in living room chairs, eat at bar type kitchen table, or stretch out on a king size bed and watch t.v. It was a perfect situation for what I was looking for in an oceanfront room. However, the air-conditioner was noticeably […] noisy when turned to A/C cooling. The room was nice, but the hallways were hot as heck. I needed a microwave to warm food up and they told me they gave it to someone to use in there room so there was no way for me to warm my dinner. I request wash rags, it took 5+ hrs to get it and only got them bc I went to the front desk! I was not pleased at all!

The hotel lobby rarely had coffee in the morning. The restaurant almost refused to serve us breakfast at 10:35am. I've stayed at other Holiday Inns that were much more accomodating'

Me and my wife enjoy are stay, the only regret we had was the weather. Our room had plenty of space a great view of the ocean, and it was clean. The hotel dinning room was closed for renovation; however there were plenty of near-by restaurants.

Our stay was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. View of the ocean and boardwalk was exceptional. Check in and check out was very quick!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who asks.

the hotel was undergoing renovation so there wasnt any restaurant.they did offer free continental breakfast to make up for it.the elevators were very slow. at one point only one was working and the hotel was fully booked. luckily we were on the 4th floor and could use the stairs. many of the local stores were kind of seedy but the location was great […] for restaurants and other shopping. The staff was courteous; the room was tiny but clean. We are likely to stay again.

What a GREAT location! It's directly off the 264 end, right in the center of the oceanfront. We went during christmas season and you could see the holiday lights right off the boardwalk! Great experience :)

The hotel was nice. The beds were very comfortable. The TV was so old it didn't have inputs so I could not hook up a dvd player or kids games. We had to pay extra to have a microwave put in our room! The view was nice and the location is great. The indoor pool wasn't huge, but it wasn't as tiny as some other reviews said it was. It was average for an […] indoor pool. The room was adequate. I just have one complaint, the indoor pool is TINY. We didn't even use it b/c we felt like we would be a bath tub with folks we don't know. One of the bigger reasons we picked this hotel was b/c it had an indoor pool. This made the visit somewhat deflating. Other than that, the room was great, service was great, location was great.

We booked a non-smoking room, but the hotel placed us in a smoking room when we arrived late the first night. The hotel was sold out and we could not be moved to a new room until the next day. We will call the hotel a few days ahead to verify all details of the reservation from now on. Other than that the hotel was great. The location is perfect and […] we really enjoyed walking right out to the beach. Everything you need for a great beach vacation is within walking distance. We never needed to take the car out of the parking lot. The AC unit in the room was very, very loud. Bring ear plugs. So, here's the bottom line: Bad News- o Room air conditioner was noisy enough to disrupt sleep (we turned it off during the night) o Immediate funky smell in the room (corn chips/dirty socks) o Cleanliness not up to par (sticky stuff on air conditioner, crumbs in lounge chair, dust around room perimeter) o General maintenance […] seemed somewhat neglected Good News- o Location couldn't have been more convenient in the center of the beach o Staff were super-friendly and helpful o Comfortable beds/pillows o Clean bathroom Bottom Line- o I would return here for a short stay, knowing what to expect o Disappointed in room cleanliness and overall maintenance for the price o No total deal breakers here, but not 4 star material either (shaky 3 stars) o Awesome to wake up overlooking the beach Lees meer
