Great hotel for the price. Thin walls so you can hear next door.

The hotel was a disappointment even considering the economical rate we received. The lobby had been updated, but the rest of the hotel was poorly maintained. The window frames were rusty, the halls and stairwells were dirty, the elevator was extremely slow, and our door lock did not work (we found out on the last day). Convenient and comfortable, but note extra charges for in-room refrigerator and microwave, regardless of whether they are used. Quiet, yet within close proximity of airport.

Rooms need to be updated. Still have tube TV's.

The restaurant food was a little sub par (at least the room service portion). However, everything else was great.

The beds were lovely, the decor nice. Very comfy place to stay. My only complaint is that the water wasn't very hot. The best you could get was warm and it was much to cold to take a bath.

Is this really a 4 star hotel? not in my book!

We stayed here the night before an early flight out. It was very nice, clean, and comfortable, and the shuttle service was great! I would not stay here for a sight-seeing trip in KC though. Too far from the sights.

Quick pickup from the airport. Fast check in, room was very comfortable. Went to the bar for happy hour, great beer and good prices. Slept as well as I expected. Overall would definitley stay there again.

Although there was one issue it was taken care of immediately after I brought it to their attention. I would definately stay again and I would recommend it to friends and family. Great location and the shuttle to the airport was prompt.

Front Desk folks were great. Room and Food was fantastic. Gym equipments are old and not working good. The elevators are the slowest in history of the Mankind.

The room was fine and the food in the hotel very good. I love that you can get food later when you fly in. The only problem I had was that ice makers were on every other floor. I had a bad leg and it was difficult for me to go that far. Next time I will take my own ice.

Yes, way above average, especially service of front desk. Clean rooms, well appointed, restaurant nice even though menu limited; food was good. Allowed me to park for two nights with no charge. All requests were met promptly and with real enthusaism. Would/will stay again.

The check in was professional and courteous. The Boulevard Bar was busy and understaffed. Still food was great! The bed was extremely comfortable.

Perfect for a 24 hour trip

Very easy 5 minute drive from airport. Staff were very nice and informed. Internet access was easy and free. Problem when bathroom lights went out early in the morning just as I was getting ready; had to bring in a lamp to see. Tub and sink drained very slowly.

We stay here everytime we hav an early flight out of Kansas city!! It is great to be able to park our car for free!!

This hotel was a very nice hotel. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.

We got a room on the 5th floor, the top floor, and it was very quiet. They had a great exercise room with all equipment functioning.

If you choose to eat at the restaurant watch your tab because they stick you with a 20% gratuity even after waiting 1 1/2 hrs for a burger, adding the stuff you are allergic too and then removing it and bringing the burger right back out to you. Come on it's a burger!!!!! Would prefer one of the other hotels due to continental breakfast for kids, we […] were there for our son. We were stuck in a corner room of the hotel and scrunched in. Forget about having company over you all had to set on the beds and well after 5 adults in the room and 2 children you all were basically on top of each other. The rooms by the stairs do not need to be doubles that is for sure not fit to hold 3 people and any luggage or clothing. The service staff (maids) were awesome the only thing that bothered me was why short set me on towels though, leave 3 seats in there considering we started w/ that.... Lees meer

Since we had an extremely early flight we wanted to stay out near the airport. Usually that means hiding out indoors to avoid the smell of jet fuel and the thunder of planes roaring overhead. But we were able to enjoy a lovely summer evening after checking in, first by walking around the man-made iake on the hotel grounds, then later by sitting outside […] with a drink and a cigar on the patio behind the bar/restaurant. There is not really a walking path or trail around the lake but we made our way around it, walking off our Arthur Bryant's BBQ feast. The view across the manicured grounds and the lake was quite lovely from the patio, even with the airport in the distance. The room was fine and comfy and clean. The highlight of the stay, however, was the hotel shuttle driver. He was a very gregarious young man who entertained us on the short trip to the airport with a well-rehearsed patter that he clearly enjoyed laying down. The hotel was awesome. My Husband and I loved that the hotel had a restaurant/bar. (Their mixed drinks were awesome as well. The Bad monkey drink was the best.) My son enjoyed the outside pool. It was clean and in a very peaceful environment ...I will be staying here on my next trip down to kansas city.

When I arrived at the airport I called the hotel for the shuttle and they came right away! The hotel staff is very friendly and always there if you need them. The restaurant at the hotel was great! If you want other choices for food they're all close by. So is shopping and the movie theater. Everything is about 15-20 mins away.

This hotel not only did not have the accomodations we were expecting and had reserved, but there was only one person at the front desk for a lot of people checking in. She was flustered at having so many people around and not being able to help everyone, so she came off as airheaded and inefficient. Our rooms were wrong, our keys were wrong, and when […] we asked for a rollaway, they had to take it from someone else. Then it could only fit in the double room, but they would only allow it in the king room, in which it did NOT fit. The excuse was that it was a fire hazard, yet the only place the rollaway would fit was right in the entrance hall, and even then it was tight. Had there been a fire, we would have had to jump over the bed, pick it up, move it out of the way, and then run out of the room. It was not a pleasant experience. Lees meer

the hotel looks a bit old. Some changes on the exterior could be made, as well as in the bathroom. The toilets didn't flush well, at least in the first floor, and the was no exhaust fan in the bathrooms. The location is good, near to the airport and Zona Rosa, but still is about 20 minutes of Downtown KC. Really easy to find though. Overall, it was […] a good experience and the service was excellent. Great place to stay if you want to be close to the airport. We ate at the on site restaurant several times and really enjoyed it. They had great happy hour specials :) Pool was nice and the rooms were decent (newer bedding, everything was clean). For the price, I was very satisfied.

We live in the KC area and went to the hotel to spend the night and go swimming. The rooms were clean, cool and comfortable! The beds were nice and soft and plenty of pillows and comforters to go around. The bathroom was spacious and even the towels were soft. The pool was clean and very well maintained! Great room and a place to eat. Close enough to the airport but still quiet.

My husband and I choose this hotel for it's close location to the airport and the fact that they let you park your car in their lot for up to 14 days free of charge. They have a shuttle that runs to and from the aiport, and this was important to us. We had a 7:30am flight so we wanted to be able to get to the airport without rushing and delays. While […] the hotel is need much need of a remodel, it was okay for the one night we slept there. Literally, we arrived at 8pm and were asleep by 9:30. The shuttle service was fantastic. They picked us up at 5:40am and had us at the airport by 6:00. Would I recommend this hotel to someone else, sure. But just know that it is need of a remodel. I'm a bathroom snob and while the tub was clean, you could see where it had been stained with previous dirt, and you could tell that the shower needed to be re-caulked. Lees meer

The stay at the hotel was very pleasurable. The room was very clean and nice, the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Cleaning people are around every day to clean the rooms. The Fitness Room is open 24hours and has very nice equipment. I felt the hotel was more than I expected for the price […] I paid! Lees meer

Needs improvement in shower area and better towels

The bed was very comfortable. Paper thin walls though, so it gets a bit loud during the daytime. Everything about the bathrooms felt a bit small and cramped, and I am a skinny guy. The TV is average and the carpeting should be replaced as it was a bit old and worn, but the King bed was extremely comfortable and made up for the other small downsides. […] Overall no frills but a comfortable stay. I was able to get a great deal on two different nights stay here. I wasn't sure how good it would be because of the great deal. To my pleasant surprise my stay was outstanding both nights.
