Beautiful hotel! , had a big indoor pool! Rooms were big! And clean! Also had a very nice playground for the kids!! The only down fall was that didn't do the free breakfast like the smaller holiday inns!

The hotel is centrally located with excellent access to highways and the turnpike. I felt that the paint job on the doors looked messy and the carpeting looked old and worn. Not nearly as nice as other Holiday Inns. It really needs a make over. The fitness room was less equipt and the facility did not look well maintained. Although the hotel rooms were spaceous, the building itself is very old. Carpeting is old and individual room a/c units are loud. Can not control temprature in the rooms. The indoor pool area is nice and kids eat free with paying adult. It maybe that Harrisburg is an old city and that there may not be many better options but I will try a different place […] next time. I have to say that all staff/employees that I dealt with were very pleasant and attentive to our needs. The hotel restaurant service was good and the food was average. I LOVED that kids ate free. The location of the hotel was great, and nearby shopping center- wonderful. OTHER than that... ): the facilities need a serious rennovation, update, facelift! […] All carpeting in hallways seemed dirty & stained. The outdoor hot tub should have been closed...it was falling apart (literally).. the indoor pool area, just as bad. I'm usually a pretty tolerable person in all situations, however our stay at this hotel was not very nice. We only stayed one night (thank goodness) however the room smelled of stale smoke and with two small children it was pretty unbearable. Yeah the hotel is a little dated, but it has it all. Decent , clean rooms, indoor/outdoor pools, courtyard, restaurant, spa, lounge etc. etc. Have stayed here many times. Service is always good. Staff is always friendly. Hotel is convenient to Hershey, the highways and other attractions.

I was utterly disgusted that after checking into the hotel and getting my room keys I walk with my family and luggae to a room that is occupied. I walk all the way back to the front desk to be told there is nothing they can do but give me a room that had one bed and would not accomadate my family comfortably. This hotel is great if you have kids. Not far from hershey park. Kids Love the pools and game room. We will return next year.

The staff was very pleasant at the hotel and it was clean.

Overall, our stay was great. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and were given a late check out. The only thing I would recommend is that the rugs in the hallways be changed. They were highly stained.

The lobby looks nice clean and spacious The second floor is not well kept carpets dirt and falling a part needs paint and ceiling tiles are dirty The room floor was not clean the beds were comfortable and clean the bathroom was not well kept with missing tiles on the floor and I dont think they washed the floor for several months

A small part of the building was renovated, but most of it wasn't. The carpets in the hallways were so dirty and worn. I am not sure when they cleaned them last! We actually saw the night help pick up dog poop in the hallway a few doors down from ours. My husband actually saw a homeless man roaming the halls with liquor twice during our stay. Our room […] was disgusting! There was inches of dust all over the couch, the wallpaper was peeling off, the bathroom tiles were gross, and it had a terrible smell to it! The sofabed mattress pad and mattress had a big blood stain on it. The night crew was happy to replace it, though, but he actually agreed that he wouldn't even let his kids sleep on it. We had trouble accessing the Internet from our room. The only thing I could say good about this place was the outdoor pool and playground. The kids really enjoyed swimming outside. The breakfast buffet was adequate, but the bananas were spoiled. I was very disappointed in this Holiday Inn, and we will NEVER stay in this one again! Lees meer

I must say that for the price I paid I was not at all satisfied. It looks like an older hotel that could use some renovating. Our room was suppose to be non-smoking but definitely smelled like a smoking room. The bathrooms are small and hard to get around. The tile on the floor and carpet needs to be replaced. It was definitely a dissapointment.

Typically, I look for hotels close to the attractions of my interest. This location was very convenient to Hershey Park and provided the basic things we needed in a hotel. I don't look for glamorous lodging, as long as there is a place to sleep, it's clean and close to where I want to be, then it meets my needs. We stayed here for a little weekend getaway on the 4th of July weekend. We arrived early before check-in but was able to enjoy the pool while our rooms were being cleaned. We had a great time awesome diner next door. Room was clean the beds were sooo comfortable we didn't want to get up the next morning.

The room was very clean but we were in an older part of the building. The hallways were warm with little or no air conditioning. The room smelled very musty. We had to go and buy Fabreeze to try and get the smell out. The overall facility was nice but our room was old and smelly.

Great hotel location - staff very helpful. Room ok - but very damp on floor (2nd floor room). We found ants all through our bags the next day.

This hotel is run down and dumpy at best. Upon check in we found that the first room we were assigned smelled like smoke. The second room we were given was slightly better but as it had a patio door facint the pool and the lock was broken. It took two attempts for the staff to fix it correctly. I was told the place was re-furbished five years earlier […] but I don't belive the hallways were touched as they were filthy with torn and soiled carpets. The staff tried to accomodate us but it was obvious that non of the other rooms/hallways were in any better condition. DO NOT spend time here with your family, pay the extra money to stay at a Courtyard, Garden Inn or other such place. Lees meer

This hotel was a good selection. It is only 15 minutes away from Hershey Park and the rooms were clean. The pool was excellent and breakfast was good. They do need to pay more attention to the conditions of the hallways and wall paper but for the price I can overlook those discrepancies. Definitely would pick this place again.

Good location, great service, great amenities. Highly recommended.

I stayed at this hotel to be near the airport for an early flight. The hotel could definitely use an upgrade. The tv in the room was the smallest I've seen in 5 years, but the room was quiet and not dirty. The ceiling was peeling, bathroom had mold, tissue holder was rusted. The carpet smelled like smoke. I don't know the last time it was renovated, but it sure could use it! The staff was very friendly. My shuttle ride to the airport was good!

Then you will love this one

The hallways smell like wed dog.My room was facing a trash dumster.When I ask the front desk to be moved (the following morning they wanted more money.You could here the noise from the room next to us.The game room was small and half of the machine didn't work.

We choose this hotel because it was easy get to from the PA turnpike and it was close enough to Hershey Park without paying the very high prices of being in Hershey. But we found the hotel dated and the halls had a faint mildew odor. We're not sure if they had a water problem or just cleaned the carpets. This hotel was extremely dirty and run down. The out-door pool and hot tub was never clean and the hallways contained litter/food droppings. We were woken up at 8am by an eager maid trying to get us out before checkout time at 11pm. Prices for their meals were double what you could find in restaurants. This was probably a nice place 30 years ago. When the present hallway carpets were new. The lobby is nice and the bar area is adequate. The pool looked nice and had a nice view. My room was a long hike from the front desk. Down long halls with threadbare carpeting.

My family and I spent only one night at the Hotel. We had a standard room with 2 queen size beds. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. I like that the hotel was kids friendly. (Pools and play area on the grounds. I would stay at the hotel again when I'm the the area. I was not happy with the breakfast. My son's pancakes were cold and hard, […] and my eggs were cold. the room was very nice and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay again. I was a bit disappointed with the bathroom amenities. The bathroom only had a small bottle of shampoo and conditioner. Other hotels I've stayed at had little soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion etc. But overall, it was a nice hotel.

Hotel could use some updating. Carpets in room and hallway are dirty with stains. On-site restaurant very slow in service and the breakfast food was horrible.

Helt ok hotell det stod att det var fri frukost vilket visade sig bara gällde 2 vuxna och barn under 10 år. Så det blev att betala extra för 2 vilket inte framkom förrän vi kom ner till frukost. Andra dagen blev det Diners istället vilket kostade samma för hela familjen som för två extra på Hotellet. Annars var det ett helt ok hotell
