Holiday Inn I 64 West End in Richmond

Grout on bathroom floor had imbedded dirt, lower tile wall in bathroom dirty,unknown glop on window sill. At 730 AM breakfast bar was out of some items. Toilet seat loose, toilet very low to ground and difficult to get up from. Inside curtains on windows stained. Lamp unplugged. No lights in room came on from switch by door difficult to navigate in […] the dark. Found trash behind night stand when looking for power outlet for CPAP. Room was very high priced for what you got. Other chain hotels in area cost substantialy less, but we picked this one because my wife's seminar was in this hotel and being unfamiliar with area did not want to complicate things, and thought that the hot breakfast would negate some of the extra cost. We have stayed at other Holiday Inns and this one was the most dissappointing. Definately would not use or reccomend this hotel in the future Lees meer

Some noise but quiet. Ice machines were broken on all floors. We had to go to desk to get ice its been broken for a long time no ice on any floors other than that all was good

I would recommend this hotel bc of the hospitality as well as the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. My stay at this hotel was very comfortable and they served me to fit my needs and went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with their service. I will be staying at this hotel again when I am in that area.

When confirming reservations, make sure the hotel staff pays attention to your paid for room. I paid for 2 nights and was asked to wait for 3 hours for my room after a long bus trip from CT. I am so happy I asked another attendant and she quickly pulled up my reservation and confirmation number.

I had the stuffed tilapia, and it was like eating fine dining. Even the veggies were delicious. Room service was fast. The only complaints I would have is the TV remote didn't work (but I was busy and didn't watch much TV anyway), and they had a poker tournament going on that night, and there was a lot of filthy language and surly characters outside. […] I never heard anything in my room, though. I would recommend this hotel b/c it's clean but the clientele and neighborhood were really sketchy. As a mom with her small daughter I didn't' feel safe.

Not a three star hotel more like two star Ice machines only worked on the seventh floor close to a not so popular area carpet in the rooms were old dark poor lighting in the room especially the bathroom

employees need to talk less on p;ersonal matters while working ,and sweep the front entery once in a while.

I loved the fact that I was about 2 minutes away from where my seminar was held. The beds are so comfortable and love the choice of pillows!

Everything was great with one exception. I had to ask the maintenance team to clean my tub because there were pubic hairs on the tub and surrounding areas. The hotel was quick to respond and cleaned the bathtub and other areas ASAP. There was a party going on near the back entrance of the hotel on the evening of 5/7. The door to the hotel was wide […] open and the cigarette smoke and other type smoke filled the entire front lobby. Excellent hotel for the location in regards to the raceway. Room was pretty clean except some marks on one of the bed spreads that were a little disconcerting. Don't get a room near the elevator like I had. Way too noisy! Breakfast should have sign posted that it is not included. We were in Richmond for the Massey 10K run. We arrived late (11:00 pm) & were surprised to see a full lobby of check-ins & hopefuls. The desk clerk was extremely patient considering the circumstances & we were in our room in less than 15 minutes. Kudos to all of the hotel employees. I know this was a very busy weekend. There were over 40,000 runners […] in the 10K & VCU made the final 4 for the 1st time (go Rams). I know all stress levels were up. But, we were greeted warmly & treated well. Lees meer

Renovation was nice but only appeared to have about 80% complete. Ceiling tiles in lobby need replaced. Somewhat concerned about surroundings but nothing happened

The property is old with some maintenance issues, but the room was comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly.

My stay was good. Except when checking out. I'll an goverment employee with the military and when I checked out and paid with my goverment credit card I was not issued a (ZERO) Balance receipt stating nothing was owed on the charge. This is a great place to stay. Near the highway, shopping and places to eat. The hotel itself is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean!!! It is an awesome stay.

The room was updated nicely, although he carpet was wet (which I found gross).

Clean, well-located hotel with excellent customer service. It has a business center and a restaurant within. Highly recommended.

Nothing spectacular. Sits on road with a lot of large office complexes. Pretty easy to get in and out.

The Good: The service I got from the several different staff persons I interacted with was actually very good. This was the best thing about the hotel. The room service was of good quality, too. The Medium: This is an older hotel that was recently renovated, and looks just like an older hotel they tried to renovate. Don't get me wrong, it's not ugly […] or anything, it just still looks more or less like an older hotel with a little sprucing up. The Bad: The rates I paid were too high for what I got. I would experiment with another hotel option before staying here again, but would stay here again given no other options. Lees meer

There was a few good things about this hotel that allows me to recommend....but if you are a germ freak...this is not the place for you...the bathroom shower was a little dirty (but that was about it for the room).The pool was really nice.
