Smelled like pool chemicals, hard beds, dirty towls. Bathroom was outdated.

Ac/heat system is archaic. Water noise in the chase pipes all night long, like having the sound of a running toilet on top of your head. Walls are paper thin, neighbors checked in at midnight and I could hear every word, and they were up at 7:00 serenading Bon Jovi's Do You Wanna Make a Memory! Switched rooms, water noise still there, and a new noise. […] Nobody can figure out how to open the ouside entrance door to the hotel which just happens to be right outside my second room. So, all night long I hear the clank, clank, clank of people trying to open the door to the building! Not so much now. I reserved and paid for an atrium room and the hotel decided to change me to a cheaper room and wasnt able to refund the difference. It wasn't much and they gave me the option of changing rooms, but I was in town for the premature birth of my first grandchild so by then I was just too tired to mess with it. Beds were very soft, but relatively comfortable. Room was clean. Was advertised to have free breakfast only to find out that it was actually a continental breakfast (unacceptable as a free breakfast) and the hot breakfast was an addtional $4.99. When advertised as free breakfast I expect hot unless otherwise stated as continental. Pool was COLD. Slide […] was nice but turned off at 9 when pool was open until 10. Also the surface around the pool, while it was non skid it was extremely painful to walk on while diamond plate stairs to slide wear slippery. Lees meer

3 tornado warnings and a hail storm were the highlights but the hotel promptly alerted us and moved us to the designated storm shelter area of the hotel. The room was decent but noisy because there were alot of kids running around being loud. The exercise area was a disappointment with some of the equipment not working and the sauna being down. We had 3 tornado sighting so was in convention hall 3 times in. The employees handled themselves very well. We had a king bed & hide-a-bed but they didn't put sheets on bed. When I called they brought 1 fitted, 4 pillowcases-1 pillow & bedspread. No top sheet or blanket. The entire place reeks of pool chemicals. My room was filthy, bedding was not changed, and carpets were covered in hair. It was absolute filth. Also, the bed was full of bedbugs. I had a dozen or more bites on my body. When I tried to bring this issues to light with the clerk at the front desk, her response was a clipped 'sorry' and then she returned […] to socializing with another person. needs updating, no fridge.

The Ramada Conference Center in Salina, KS was remodeling the floor where I stayed. Thus, there was a mild smell of fresh paint in the hallway, but not noticable in the room. Over all the hotel was very nice amenity wise. It has both a restaurant and club inside the hotel. Both were nice and well kept. My disappointment was with the swimming pool and whirl pool. They are very old and not in good shape. Both are made out of concrete and the paint was chipping off of the concert walls and bottoms and sides of pool were in […] poor condition. There was a slide in the pool area which was very nice for the younger kids who appeared to have a blast. The water in the big pool was very cold and cloudy. Neither are very well maintained. I just looked into the exercise area and was disappointed with what I saw available compared to other hotels that I have been in with like or similar accommodations. As far as the rooms go, the beds were very hard and the pillows gave me neck ache and back and shoulder ache when I work up in the morning. If you want to stay in a trashy broken down hotel please by all means stay here... I have state din this hotel before and it was never this bad... First walked in at 5pm and no one was t the front desk for a good 5-10 minutes with 2 other people waiting in front of me. En once I checked in heard them talk to other guests about the smoke smell coming […] through the hall ways. Employee sys it's because of the ask trays located near the doors. You think you would have them moved somewhere else if people are complaining about it especially with kids. Then when I get to my room th door latch I locked from the inside so what do they do instead of getting me another room..... The maintenance guy takes a crowbar to the door and breaks the lock telling me it ok I have another lock and will put it on in like 30seconds..... Dinner at the restaurant was none existent... Breakfast morning came and I went to the breakfast area where solid rock hard biscuits and warm orange juice waited for me. Let's just say that I will never be staying at this place again until it's gets a much needed remodel and cleaning including the employees.... Lees meer

The front desk personnel were accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately the room was not comfortable because the AC did not work. Great price but I guess "you get what you pay for."

The staff was very friendly. The hotel cleanliness needed some help, but overall okay for the price.

Needs a little updating and cleaning. I don't know if it is the pool making everything smell musty/moldy or what. Our room was suppose to be a "upgrade suite" and it was no different than all the rest. Was suppose to be NON SMOKING ROOM and it smelled like smoke. There was a burn mark on the sink/ If I would have had time I would have ran out and bought […] room freshener. I did report it to the hotel clerk. We got in late the night before and wanted to sleep in and take my time checking out..asked for late check out and gal at desk said No. Lees meer

Nicer than expected with more amenities than some four stars.

Had black mold in my room, and my daughter is very allergic to mold. I have pictures of mold. They moved to new room and then the pool closed at 4:30. Because some girl got a bloody nose and kept getting in the pool. What makes me mad she was not evening staying at Hotel, was at a pool party. So the paying guest got screwed. Hotel is old but well-maintained. There was a chlorine odor in the hallways due to the indoor pool. Room was comforatble but the furnishings were dated. Good value for the price.

The facility was great. Room was very nice. The outside of the building need major cleaning. Trash and other dirty stuff are every where.

Definitely would not recommend this hotel. The rooms are run down and dirty; the pool was a murky green color; and the staff was less than helpful. It took numerous trips to the front desk whenever we needed anything (which was often because they didn't have fresh towels for the pool or for our room and didn't bother providing us with extra sheets when […] they knew we needed the hide-a-bed). Good value for the money. one small concern: the sauna is not working-and hasn't worked for some time.

I stay here everytime I'm in town for business and it is the cleanest and safest place not to mention the friendliest staff! I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

We couldn't beat the price on this hotel but it is in some need up updating... The room we had was hot and humid and the air conditioner was not working. When I told the front desk about it, they said they would let maintenance know. I wasn't convinced! Not a bad experience, just not a great one!

We have stayed at this motel several times over the years, but it has changed owner and is not the some. The heater was on high and could not cool the room down. The sewer was backed up and had to call maintainance. All around it was a disappointed stay.

I felt like I was back at a corfe dorm. You could hear everything in the rooms coming from the bar I guess. The bath faucet would not turn off all the way. The beds were super hard and uncomfortable.

Going with a bargain room isn't always the best idea. The heater didn't work very well, bath drain to forever to drain. It may be ok for a conference but I wouldn't stay there again.

We were just driving through and needed a place to stay so we didn't get to check out the pool or other accommodations; however, the hotel was clean and well laid out. It was easy to access our room from the car. The staff was very nice. The only thing I wish could have been better was the breakfast. Our family would stay here again.

We picked this hotel specifically for the pool and water slide for our kids. They had a blast! The pool and slide both could use cleaning and maintenance. As for the hotel, it's old and showing its age. We weren't terribly impressed with our room and the beds, pillows especially were quite uncomfortable. It was very convenient for highway travel though. […] We also had an incident with our car in the parking lot and over a month later we're still unable to connect with someone from the hotel to get it straightened out. Very frustrating! All in all I suppose I wouldn't necessarily recommend this hotel to friends and family unless you have little ones that just need the entertainment of the pool/slide area. Nothing grand about this place anymore. It looks like it was great in its time, but now it just feels dated. Its really just OK. If you want a cheap place to stay for a night then this place should be fine for you.

The Ramada is generally nice and comfortable for the price. However, we were unable to turn down heat or turn on air conditioning and staff stated that it is an old system and despite being a thermostat in the room all rooms are set to a single thermostat controlled by maintenance. Therefore the one in the room is for show and doesn't work. Additionally, […] while the heat is on in the hotel you can't turn on the air in your room. The ramada also only offers one ice machine for the entire hotel and it is not centrally or conveniently located. I'll be looking for a new place to stay from now on. Lees meer

Great for a family stop on the way to Colorado...lots to do, lots of space.

I don't expect a lot from a hotel priced like this one. There were some issues with the hotel, but for the price I really can't complain. My issues were: the toilet paper was down to the very last piece that is glued to the cardboard, toilet seat was disgusting, shower was small and missing ring around shower head, air ducts were disgusting. This hotel needs much updating and a little better househeeping. At least the sheets and towels appeared to be clean. Coffee maker did not work. It was ok for our quick overnight stay for the price.
