Travelodge Portland E Gresham in Wood Village

It seems like the hotel has been around a long time and could use some remodeling. The service was friendly, but the entire hotel stinks of smoke. The linens stunk of urine, but the friendly staff was quick to switch it out with a clean pair. Overall, the hotel is kind of gross, but the staff is friendly.

Had two issues upon arrival and were corrected fast by staff.....good breakfast for a quick bite in the morning....Hotel is showing its age...great location to connect to portland highway system.....

At first coming into the hotel I was a little creeped out by the guy at the front desk and was worried about bed bugs or something scary. But overall it was pretty good place to stay. The bed was comfy(with no bedbugs btw), tv and shower and heat worked well. For the price the little breakfast included is nice and the staff was actually pretty friendly […] in the end(even the initially less friendly guy). I ended up staying a 3rd night because I was comfortable there. The location was good for me as it was a good middle ground between Portland and mt hood. The room gets a little stuffy and overall the hotel is old but for the price I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again. Lees meer

The room had old bedding. No soap. Never had new towels generally low quality needs maintenance. The thing was the price.... best I can give it is a 2 star rating .....

The room was not clean. There are cigarrette burns on the the bedsheets. I have to go down to the front desk to get towels.

The hotel was okay, front desk person was very kind, the room however only had one towel and we reserved the room for 2 adults. Also the cleaning staff entered our room at nine in the morning with out knocking and I was still in bed. Carpets are dark-colored and looked unclean. Place including parking lot needs to be maintained (maybe new and fresh paint needed, more plants to provide curb appeal, more ventilation inside the hallways)

The hotel was overall decent. We got everything we expected except when we arrived we saw a car with shattered windows. As soon as we saw this we were worried someone might break into our's. luckily nothing happened to ours but it was quite scary

The room was good near alot of services. Price was more than reasonable would have liked a refridgerator & microwave in room other than that it was a very Good Night.

The whole place smells like stale cigarettes and there are holes in the upholstery. The blankets look like they were bought in the 70's. Not worth it.

The back entrance to the hotel was left unlocked, so people were loudly entering and exiting all night long- I assume for a smoke break. The upkeep of the room itself was not so good, wallpaper peeling, paint not finished, etc. However, the cleanliness of the room was good, so that much made up for the rest. The entire hotel smelled like smoke. Our room didn't immediately smell of smoke, but as you stayed longer in the room another odor was present.... Old and musty. Other than the smell, the service was ok, the amenities a plus (microwave, mini-fridge) minimal continental breakfast. If you can get past the smell its cheap and doable.

Requested a non-smoking room, found cigarette burns on the sheets. Bathtub & floors not very clean. Do not anticipate staying here again.

We had stayed here from a long 10 hour drive, we only stayed in the hotel to sleep for 6 hours and I couldn't wait to get out. The bed sheets had burnt cigaret holes and the name "Nancy" written in the corners! I had my baby sleep on the blankets I brought with us from the trip because of that alone. I didnt even want to take my shoes off in the room […] because the floor looked grimy. The nice thing was we got to check in really late and gave us extended hours to stay but thankfully our group left early amd the staff was nice. This had to be by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The couches in the breakfast lounge were covered in rips, the continental breakfast was slim pickins. I booked a non-smoking room but when I arrived was told I needed to pay extra. The smoking room smelled so bad when I turned on the air conditioner I felt like I was smoking a cigarette. The […] hotel had no elevator, I had to pack my luggage up 2 flights of stairs. The sheets on the bed were stained with big black circles, the remote control for the TV only had a few buttons that worked. The staff was inviting and friendly. Continental breakfast could be improved. While waffles are wonderful to serve, there was an enormous line for them. With our 2 year old waiting for a 1/2 hour to give him a waffle did seem unreasonable. If there was toast, muffins or other pasteries then there would be more options to choose from. This was the Nicest Bunch of People I have ever met...This was just a real Comfortable place to stay...I liked it so much I wanted to rent there monthly..I am a Businessman expanding into Portland...Thank You all at this Travelodge for a Great stay and making me feel so welcome

This was my first stay in a Travelodge. I booked based purely on geographic location and price. Upon my arrival I detected an odor similar to that of someone's grandparents house (no, not like fresh cookies or apple pie). The pillows were thin and needed to be doubled up for any hope of support (still didn't work). One of the beds in my room had a blanket […] on it that showed serious signs of wear. There were several fist sized holes, along with a dozen or so smaller holes, in it. The walls, while freshly painted, showed many dings and scuff marks. Travelodge doesn't seen to provide shampoo as there was none in my shower. And we (booked as a party of four) only had two towels in our bathroom. Lees meer
