Prima hotel voor paar overnachtingen, ca. 15 min. van Washington Mall.

dit hotel was lang niet zo slecht als ik verwachtte, gezien de vele slechte reviews op internet. misschien dat er verschil zit in de kamers zit maar mijn kamer was best netjes. de inrichting is inderdaad wat ouderwets maar alles was wel schoon. alleen de deur was een beetje gammel, veel speling als je hem niet van binnenuit op het slot deed. maar voor […] dit geld een prima hotel op half uurtje openbaar vervoer van de national mall. Het hotel was erg schoon en fijn om enkele dagen in te verblijven. Toen ik opmerkte dat 2 lampjes het niet deden kwam er binnen 4 min personeel langs om nieuwe lampjes in te zetten. Kamer was erg schoon en de bedden waren goed. Ze waren wel een beetje klein voor 2 personen. Dit hotel is zeker aan te raden.

Het hotel is schoon en netjes, en het ontbijt was inbegrepen. Het hotel ligt redelijk ver van het centrum, er is wel een goede busverbinding naar metrostation pentagon.

This was an okay 2 star hotel that should be cheaper to stay that what we paid.

This was a surprise trip for my oldest daughter to DC, I was looking for comfort/near the city as well as price~ this hotel seemed to fit that from my computer in MN when I arrived it was horrible, I made a complaint to staff as well as wrote into Days Inn..Hair in my "clean" bed, hair dryer did not work, bathroom ceiling litterally falling down from […] moisture, heat lamp didn't work, when do not disturb was on the door an nobody answered they still came in!!!!!! Very comfortable bed in room with kitchen, stove, microwave, table, chairs, and dshes and silverware. Complimentary light breakfast offered daily. TV was older tube type, but worked just fine.

Room was dirty, and the bathrom needed updating badly.

Hotel was run down but everything worked fine -- it was a great value for the DC area. The breakfast was fine, orange juice, coffee and oatmeal. And the many #16 buses stopping right in front of the hotel go right to Metro stations, so it's easy to get to the hotel from Pentagon or Pentagon City, and to where you are going.

This place is more like a motel rather than a hotel. The location is convenient in terms of public transportation and nearby restaurants and shops. The area is safe. There was no iron in the room, which I found odd. I asked for one at the front desk.

The hotel was very dated and appeared to be in a state of remodeling. The room was sort of clean. The tub area was not very clean and had peeling wallpaper and mold around the tub. There was no iron or board. The TV was very old. I felt like I had stepped back in time.

Hotel was adequate for my needs. Best part was the proximity to an Irish Bar.

I enjoyed my recent stay at the Days Inn on Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA. The staff was polite, the room was clean, the location was convenient, and the price was right.

Great location for gettting into DC. Hotell need to be upgraded. Hole in ceiling, rust in light fixture in bathroom, electrical wire exposed,. Right outside door to room, carpet needed cleaning. A one night stay and close to DC, other than that not way.

I don't really like this Hotel, in the picture looks nice but its like "motel road". It's good just for sleep but not for spending time there.

We just booked one night for St. Patty's Day so we didn't have to drive. It served its purpose as a place to sleep, plus breakfast in the morning! Cabs into DC are also fairly cheap ($16-20). Metro is not within walking distance (found this out the hard way!)

To start with the Days Inn Arlington is located in a tough neighborhood. Once inside, things actually get worse. Carpet in the halls is stained and covered in dog hair. Carpets in the room had unidentifiable sticky material in traffic areas. The bathroom has been caulked so many times that the caul joints are an inch wide. The sink had been moved from […] inside the bathroom to outside the bathroom and blocked much of the closet. Finally, when a taxi was called, none would respond to the Days Inn. Good bus and metro subway connection to D.C. Fast food across the street.

Room was okay but not what I reserved. I asked for a Queen bed and instead received two Full sized beds. I tried to ask the counter for a change in room only to be told that there are none available. This was disturbing as hotels.com listed a Queen Room as being the only available. Service Desk was not helpful at all and not the most friendly.

Convenient to Arlington Cemetery which was our destination. The complimentary breakfast provided with the room was extremely adequate with a wide selection. I would definetly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to visit this area.

The motel was adequate and the surrounding neighborhood was fine. A wide selection of restaurants nearby. It was adequate.

I'm used to three to four stars so I'm probably being a little harsh... I didn't enjoy the room at all. The bathroom had mold, and everything was so old it looked dirty even if it was as clean as it could get. Too bad because the location was GREAT!

First of all the front desk was not polite at all. Secondly, as I am walking to my roon someone is sitting on the steps and doesn't move. Lastly, just as I fell asleep, someone starts banging on the door and glass wanting in the room. The worse experience ever...

Well the hotel itself is not bad but, there were no transportation to and from the airport as promise, the room were clean, and restaurant staff very nice. I did not like the fact that when you are standing inline to get services at the front desk that other Chinese customers can cut in from of you and get service before you that was in line. Like others have said, the front desk clerks are not that friendly.Our room did smell nice for a smoking room soft beds & pillows in our room not sure about others.Overall i would stay at this location again...so near everything at a really good price.

We chose to stay a 2nd time in a month. Found the room clean but like the last one, the bathroom was a work in progress. We were content for an economy room, it was better than expected. We will stay again.

Low cost, "tired" hotel. Convenient to client location but I don't need to stay here twice.

I only had to stay at this hotel one nite - business conference at the Hilton Mark. Thank goodness! Between the shabby renovations, openness to the street (motel style) and the people yelling, screaming and pushing each other outside my door, I was nervous enough to sleep in my clothes all nite. The only problem with the hotel was the bathroom tub and enclosure, was shotty workmanship, but the rest of the entire room was clean. Bed very comfortable. Alarm clock did not work but it was ok. Parking is tight when a full house is had. Desk clerk on check in wasnt overly friendly. Got most info on area from another client. Bus stops in front of […] hotel; cheap ride to metro. Hotel is clean, easy access to restaurant, shopping center, bus to Washington DC. Price is reasonable.

Good: - The location is convenient when travelling by public transport (as I did). The busstation (who is bringing you to eather Pentagon or Pentagon City subway station) is right in front of the hotel. - There is a 7/11 right in front of the hotel together with a McDonalds (for the ones interested). - The complimentary breakfast in the morning was […] simple but nice. The location is GREAT. The front desk old women is horrible worst attitude ever. 3 Day straight so its not like she just had one bad day. The room was ok but smells of cigar-ate smoke

This hotel was in such bad shape. Nothing in the bathroom worked correctly. The light would not turn off, the towel bar had been pulled off the wall and reinstalled about an inch above the old holes. The fan tried to turn on but was covered in dust, seemed like a fire hazard. They had removed the vanity in the bathroom and just left an empty unfinished […] space. The room smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. We had bug bites in the morning. This hotel was not the cheapest around and we were able to find a new hotel for just a few dollars more. If we hadn't arrived so late we would have left and not stayed at all. A nice clean place, with a comfortable bed in a great location. Lots of fast food and nice restaurants within a short walking distance, also a drug store and gas station/coffee shop. I was pleasantly surprised that even though it is situated at a busy corner, it was nice and quiet. Didn't hear the neighbours or the traffic at all. The bus stop was 5 […] min. walk from our room (it couldn't have been more convenient). I was very pleased with the location, the bus ride from the hotel to the subway station is less than 10 minutes. We were able to park our car at the hotel at no additional charge and relax and let the local folk do the driving for us for the duration of our stay. Hotel was a little tired and run down but it was a great rate. Very convenient to the Metro making it easy to commute.

Terrible room. The rug was peeling up and musty. The curtains did not completely close and had large holes. The bathroom had mildew stains and the phone would not stop blinking for messages even though there were none. There were holes in the wall from old furniture and I can just go on from there....
