La Quinta Inn & Suites LAX in Los Angeles

heb voor dit hotel gekozen om dat het een goede aanbieding was van hotels.com. het ligt dicht bij het vliegveld maar je heb er geen last van, de staat van het hotel is goed maar mag is wat outbollig de liften zijn erg traag en de badkamer is erg klein het ondbijt is niet veel bezonder en het diner is wat aan de duurde kant voor wat je krijgt en de huishouding […] is ook traag paar keer gehad dat ik s'midags laat terug kwam en de kamer was nog niet gedaan .maar als je geen hoge eisen steld is dit een aardig hotel om te overnachten alleen jammer dat je moet betalen voor parkeren zou gratis moeten zijn voor gasten. Very good...... I really very much have grown to dislike fees for bags and like this hotel parking is extra....$15 night..... I can't wait for the southwest airlines types with a inclusive

Upgraded from a King to a King Suite and well worth the upgrade. Very nice room and living area. The only issue was that it was adjacent to the elevator, and there was noise from that late night and early morning. Otherwise, the room was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly and the location was perfect for my needs in the LA area.

I liked the people at the hotel, but the room wasn't quiet...I could hear the traffic from the road below, and the curtains made it impossible to get the room completely dark.

Our stay was hugely disappointing. We booked our room, as we had an early morning flight and wanted to be close to the airport. While we were close to the airport, that was about it. We had planned to let the kids spend the afternoon, but that was a huge bust. The pool was cold, dirty and you had to call from there for towels. We called, using the pool […] phone and found a half smoked joint in the phone box. We never did get towels, when we asked the maids we saw in the hall, they said no, despite us being dripping wet with little kids. The pool is on the roof and there were three missing panels, being replaced by wood that was also falling out. Very scary! In the lobby we saw a girl being taken away by the police in handcuffs and a call girl going up in the hotel and later coming down. The free breakfast was alright, just your basics. For the same price, you can go down the road and stay at a much nicer hotel, the Four Points Sheraton. Lees meer

Staff can be friendlier. Wanted hot water for infants milk but front counter can't help.

Great rates. Hotel was very clean, staff was helpful and friendly. Restaurant was nice and food was good. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the first time that I stay at a hotel around LAX. All services about this hotel is good. I will stay at this hotel again, if I need at the next time.

This is a smoking allowed hotel. If you don't care for smoking be sure to get a non smoking room. I was not aware of this detail at my time of booking.

All ratings would have been a 5 except for the elevators. Had to wait 10 minutes sometimes. Elevator doors opened at almost every floor with no people waiting. Had the same problem at some Marriotts. The service elevator was not working so the staff kept trying to load their room cleaning carts on the guest elevator. Otherwise a great place to stay. […] I made the same complaint last year. Location is perfect for an early-morning flight. They do charge $15/day for the garage - be aware. Our room was fine - relatively clean. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was small and dated; the door had to be forced closed and we go no cold water for the tub (as in, it just trickled out of the faucet). The front desk staff was disingenuous and […] uncaring. I asked for a room that was quiet, for the sake of my two young kids who needed to go to bed. The front desk person put us in a room directly across from elevators and loud (but out of order!) vending machines. Later, when I cut my hand on a sharp piece of metal in THEIR bathroom, I ran downstairs for a band-aid. The front desk told me that didn't have any bandages and referred me to their sleazy gift shop in the garage (think neon lights and unlicensed Mickey Mouse plush dolls). I have a hard time believing that they don't have a first aid kit and could spare a single band-aid on a cut caused by the awkward La Quinta Inn bathroom. Needless to say, my first La Quinta Inn experience will also be my last. There are far better hotels in the same price range. Lees meer

Pleasantly surprised. Clean, updated room; pleasant staff, coffee and juice provided for those taking the shuttle to LAX early in the morning. 10 min. to airport. Excellent choice for short stay.

Staff was very helpful clean hotel and close to lax also it was fairly priced !

Comfortable room, Great service, We stayed here for 4 days at the end of our holiday and used it as a base to tour L.A. The free hot/cold breakfast buffet set us up for the day. The hotel has a fitness centre and a heated pool. There is a free shuttle service to LAX every 20 minutes which only takes about 10 minutes. The area the hotel is in is predominantly […] business/industrial as you would expect being so close to an airport and is nothing to write home about but it is close to the 405 freeway making it ideal as a base to tour. There is an hourly bus service to nearby Manhattan beach which stops right outside the hotel. There are a number of fast food style outlets in both directions along Century blvd but the roads/area make it easier to drive rather than walk. We didnt want the hassle of facing L.A traffic on our way back to LAX at the end of our holiday and this hotel was well placed and met all our needs. We will definately stay here again. Lees meer

Very close to LAX with a free shuttle that we waited only minutes for. Nice room and friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet. Got in after dark so had a bite in restaurant. Wanted to walk to CVS to pickup items for our cruise but front desk advised us not to. Waited 25 min. for public transportation but never saw a bus going in any direction so made do […] with gas station items. McDonalds next door. Lees meer

My selection was very good. The location is very convenience.

The hotel staff were really great. The Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was ok. Nothing fancy but quite adequate for the night.

We requested and were given a room that was indicated to be No Smoking. When we arrived late at night the entire common area of this hotel smelled of stale smoke. We entered our room and thought that the smell had permeated from the hallway. It was not until we arose the next morning and discovered an ashtray in the room. I told the front desk about […] this and they assured me that the room was supposed to be a no smoking room. I asked then why was there an ashtray in it. They had not reasonable response. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who dislikes the smell of stale cigarette smoke. They did offer a discount for this but, I have not seen it show up on my credit card as of two weeks after. extremely convenient location to LAX. Lots of traffic noise if your room is on the street side. Parking fee of $15/day not mentioned on line when booking! Small elevators so you might end up waiting a bit if the hotel is busy. Clean, spacious rooms close to freeway access. Breakfast included is a plus and plentiful.

The staff is so friendly and genuinely concerned in making sure your stay is wonderful. The only thing I would recommend is that you do your research about metro and LA because the conceriage service was less helpful. I had to ask about tours, discounts, and food delivery services. convenience location w/ 24/7 airport shuttle every 15~20min, shuttle driver was nice & helpful on our luggages, hotel stuffs s/b more friendly & nicer, it's a good pick for a overnight stay & catch for the next day flight in LAX.

A reservation was made in Oct. 2011 for a standard room with two double beds for March 2012. When we arrived we were told The only accommodation available was a room with a King bed...very dissatisfied.

I'm sure most La Quinta hotels are quite good, however this particular one is somewhat rundown and not up to standard, compared to other hotels in its price category. Parking was difficult and the hot water took a long time to get hot on the 4th floor. I won't book it again at LAX, but might consider La Quinta in other cities. Make SURE you get a guaranteed non-smoking room. This place is very smoking tolerant, which is fine, but if you don't smoke and you get a wide open smoking room, it's like walking into an ash tray. I suppose you can tolerate anything for a night, but everything I had with me would have reeked of smoke if I'd stayed in that room. On the plus side, the […] staff tried hard and sent a security guy to check a room which was perfectly fine and without smoke odor. All in all, this is a great location relative to being close to LAX and the rental car places, but a bit dicey neighborhood wise. This feels more like a 2.5 star in a really convenient spot than a 3 star. It's a bit dated and details like bad wood in the bathroom door also show it's age and less than stellar maintenance. Certainly nothing to "worry" about if you want a deal on seomthing close to LAX, but not the place to stay if you're looking for anything beyond the basics - I had a clean room, quiet on the 6th floor, etc. but that's it.
