Perfect gelegen, niet in de grote drukte en toch niet te ver van de bezienswaardigheden. Het enige wat ik leuk zou vinden is een ijskastje en waterkoker. Kamers basic en klein maar meer moet je niet hebben.

Ons verblijf begon matig. De sleutelkaart van de kamer werkte niet toen we boven bij onze kamer aankwamen. Terwijl ik me klaar aan het maken was om te douchen deed ik de ventilator in de kamer aan en kwam ik erachter dat deze niet werkte (mijn vrouw kon dit niet waarderen nadat ik daar wat dingen had gedaan) en toen ik een handdoek van het rek pakte, […] zag ik dat er op de handdoek een bruinachtige vlek zat. Die avond toen we gingen slapen waren de lakens smerig!! Nu wil ik niet alleen slechte dingen opnoemen want de ligging was geweldig en het hotel zelf was erg schoon. We zaten op 10 minuten loopafstand van Time Square en ongeveer hetzelfde van Central Park. Het bed was comfortabel en ik kon bijna geen lawaai van buiten horen in de kamer, en dat was goed. Globaal gezien zou ik hier nog een keer overnachten maar alleen omdat de ligging goed was en de prijs redelijk (voor NY). Lees meer

Extreem handige ligging. Volop eettenten op loopafstand voor alle budgetten. Hotel volmaakt schoon en aangenaam. Personeel is hoffelijk en professioneel. Je moet het General Electric Building op 51st & Lex zien. Een gebouw zoals er maar een van is!

Dit is een erg goed onderhouden hotel, kamers zijn mooi, schoon, etc, maar wees gewaarschuwd dat er in de buurt weinig opties zijn voor lekker avondeten (in de kamer of uit eten) na 10 of 11 uur 's avonds, iets dat een beetje ongewoon is voor New York. Dit hotel is geweldig voor zijn ligging, maar de "koopjes"kamer die je hier kunt krijgen is heel erg klein, het is zo groot als een kamer in een pension, ik en mijn bagage pasten er nauwelijks in.

Geweldige locatie voor mij. Schone, comfortabele en rustige kamer. Personeel liet de kosten voor een film vervallen toen ik aangaf dat ik de film na een paar minuten had uitgezet. Conciërge raadde een geweldige kapper aan.

Het hotel was bij voorbaat typisch een hotel van een hotelketen in een grote stad. Kamer was mooi, ligging was fantastisch (ook al betaalden we het weekendtarief, doordeweeks was het tarief afschrikwekkend), maar alles was een beetje zielloos en saai. Personeel was niet bijzonder verwelkomend, te druk met het verzorgen van de klagende gasten!

Best wel een standaard plek, maar helemaal geen klachten. Voelde veilig, schoon en comfortabel. Ik verbleef in een "Petite Room" die ja, klein was, maar voor alleen mij op zakenreis was dit goed genoeg. Als ik er was voor een recreatief verblijf, dan had ik waarschijnlijk een andere plek gekozen met wat meer karakter, maar het Radisson Lexington deed […] zeker weten wat het moest doen. Lees meer

Dit is een erg gemakkelijke locatie in het midden van de stad en de prijs was best wel redelijk als je naar de concurrenten in NYC kijkt. Het fitness centrum was best goed. Veel van de apparaten was up-to-date, werkte naar behoren en was schoon.

Dit was een ongelukkige ervaring. Geweldige locatie en het hotel was netjes onderhouden. Lobby, conciërge en personeel waren allemaal erg behulpzaam. Bar was te duur. De twee restaurants en de Starbucks lagen op loopafstand van de lobby. Desondanks is dat alles wat ik aan kan raden!! De kamer was verschrikkelijk. De muren waren zo dun als papier, je […] kon het verkeer beneden horen, als een andere kamer het toilet doortrok of een douche nam, kon je alles horen. Hoe dan ook hoorde je alle geluiden van de kamers links en rechts van jou. De kamers waren ook te klein. Ik zou er niet naar terug gaan. Lees meer

Our room had just been renovated and the accomodations were truly awesome. Very clean, bright, comfy beds, gorgeous decor. Could not ask for more. Very friendly staff everywhere. Would recommend if you're looking for an affordable VERY nice hotel in the city. Great location as well. A++++ all the way. The location is perfect. However we arrived shortly after 8:00 pm on a Monday night our rooms were not available. We were told to come back in an hour. Very strange. The room was fine, but the bathroom had a fan running constantly. Again, very strange.

Location was excellent for business... Hotel is going through renovation, Loby looking good. My TV cable did not work. I was in a room that could be a "conceting" room and I could hear everything from the room next door.

Don't stay next to the elevator - ask to change rooms or you will be up all night. This is a typical hotel room in the city. Nothing spectacular other than location.

Hotel was fine and basic. Let's face it, it's an old building and I chose it on price. Room smelled a little musty but was quiet and the bed was comfortable. No thermostat to control room temp, but window was operable. Would stay there again. Starbucks in the building.

The lobby was under construction (causing a mess around the hotel) and the hotel staff were very un-hospitable. We tried to check in early but they didn't have any rooms available. Instead of calling us when a room was available, they said we needed to call them to check on the status. We then realized that some people were getting rooms while others […] were told to wait. In addition to all of this, they actually asked us to pay $2 to watch our bags. This hotel has location going for it, and the gym. The "Deluxe" room was extremely small, and I actually think we were put in a lower end room. I love the Lexington. I know it comes down to personal interest but this hotel offers everything I love: style, good food, kind of chic but classy, and local clubs and lounges near by. Both rooms I stayed in were awesome and a corner suite room I had was great for the price and to be staying in NYC. Latin Quarters is downstairs from the Lexington and […] is one of the most famous and long standing latin music clubs in NYC. There are other great hotels and bars and lounges near by. Taino restaurant is downstairs as well and the food and drink are incredible! During Christmas season, there was a HUGE Christmas tree in the very clean lobby and the people were great. Truth be told, the women who work there are HOT as well. Ask for MASHA, tall blond Russian who will hook you up and Alexandra, girl from Kosovo, is probably one of the best pieces of eye candy I have seen in a long time and her attitude is fantastic! While there were renovations being carried out during our stay, it didn't bother us as we were out & about sightseeing most of the time. We were very happy with our room as it had just been refurbished and I believe we were the first to stay in it. It was spotless, bright & nicely furnished. The room was clean and the furnishings were up to date. The bed was comfortable too. There was some construction in the lobby and it's much better to enter from 48th so you don't have to walk through a Starbucks to get to the lobby (though it's convenient for breakfast). Overall, a good experience.

Got last minute deal. $150 a night. Very close to NY Office so handy location for me. Room was comfortable. Lobby undergoing renovation so it is a mess. Staff were polite and friendly. OK for a short stay. Lots of airline staff staying so that gives you an idea. Neighbourhood is dead, especially at night.

I booked a night at the Lexington when my flight was canceled at LaGuardia and I needed a place to stay. The price was attractive and in a great Manhattan neighborhood for business travelers. The Cons: lack of cleanliness, small room, very dated and worn. The Pros: Looks to be in the process of a total gut rehab. The current status of the Lexington […] filled my needs for the night. Great Location, stayed here many times, clean and safe and usually well priced. Got a free upgrade at check in, some construction work started at 8am on a Saturday but otherwise very good.

My room stank of kitchen odors, which must have come up through the vents. The smell was so bad it awakened me at 4:30 AM and I couldn't get back to sleep. Later at breakfast I think I ate what they were cooking: reheated oil saturated hashed brown potatoes and onions. We had horrible service from room service, to maid service (she took glasses out of our room and refused to replace them), to the front desk personnel (including the manager who didn't even offer an apology for anything). We will not be going back there!

When I booked the Lexington, which was a few months ago, I made it quite clear that it was for a special occasion, our 25th anniversary. Despite the hotel clearly knowing what work they had scheduled at this time, no-one bothered to inform me that there were massive renovation going on in the hotel during our stay. Had they done so I would have gone […] elsewhere. Hundreds of workmen, everywhere, on every floor, horrendous noise and dust everywhere, most of the facilities unavailable to guests. Was not made aware of the under-construction condition of the hotel before I walked in the door. Staff did the best they could with could with the sorry state of the available rooms and construction noise and inconvenience, but hotel was in no condition to be occupied.
