Clarion Collection Hotel Arlington Court Suites in Arlington

This is a nice enough hotel, as the rooms, lobby, etc were clean and pretty well kept up. The televisions in the rooms need to be closer though than 15 feet away to see from the bed. A petty complaint, but something that can be looked into.

We were most surprised by the value of this hotel. The room was incredible! We were only about a block away from the closest Metro station. Really great restaurants were also very close by. I would highly recommend staying in this hotel!

This may be the most beautiful hotel room I have ever had. It consists of a very large living/dining area with a full kitchen, a full bedroom with two queens and an ample bathroom and makeup area. Very nice, especially for the money in Washington. We stayed on Mon and Tue so we got a free breakfast and a free dinner. Wow!

The room was extremely spacious and well appointed and the front desk staff tremendously helpful. It was so easy and quick to get to DC by metro.

Minutes from Arlington Cemetary. A few blocks from the action in Arlington nightlife. We had a great rate for a great room. Very spacious. Very good complimentary buffet breakfast. Felt safe as a women walking the street alone to a nearby convience store. Definately stay there again. The staff was clueless as to local events and nearby shopping.

The hotel was great. However, the hotel caters to high school students on their class trip to DC. The noise finally died down around 2am. The walls are thin and sound echos off the stairwell. If you are staying here, request a room at the end of the hall, away from the elevators, stairs and (hopefully) noctural teenagers.

The staff was extremely helpful and very polite. The buffet for breakfast was great it had much to choose a full menu (the works). The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Very nice spot. Great location. Ragtime Bar within easy walking distance; great food and beer selection. I would stay here all the time if I could afford it. 'Got a sweet deal on Hotels com. Even at normal rates..well worth it. Great rooms, great breakfast, great staff. Kudos Clarion!

The room is huge with kitchen appliances and free breakfast. I think it is quite suited for long stay for business purposes. There is 15 dollars parking fee per day.

This was a great rate for a room with kitchen. If we were staying longer it would have come in handy but we were just there overnight. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was okay, big but dated. I would stay again. The only thing was the construction outside, they are redoing the road but I'm sure it would be done soon.

We were in Arlington for a funeral and stayed one night at this hotel. The only suggestion I have is for the sign to include the "Clarion" name... we thought we were at the wrong hotel when we read only "Arlington Court Suites." Otherwise, perfect for our needs.

I liked the hotel but it was hard to find and not "two blocks away" from the Metro station as promised. The night desk clerk was efficient but so surly that I was shocked. The morning clerk was fine.

This hotel was close to trains, good eats, rental cars. Room was spectacular and fit our needs perfectly. Staff friendly and vey helpful.

Easy access from Route 50 and National Airport. Good free breakfast. The room was bigger than I probably needed, but it was very comfortable. Short walk to the Courthouse Metro stop where there are decent places to eat. I travel to DC area three to four times a year for business and I'd definitely stay here again.

A nice feature is that the rooms include a kitchen with a stove, sink and full size fidge, which made it convenient for someone like me who prefers to make their own coffee and eat meals in versus eating out all the time while traveling.

The hotel was disappointing, not because something was bad, but because I expected more for the price. The room was a nice size, but very plain with no amenities like a refrigerator. The hotel was great for the price. The suites were a nice size. My family was in town for a funeral. We had 8 rooms. All of the rooms were a nice size. We stayed on the 8th floor. Rooms 811, 813, 815, and 817 all have two rooms. The living rooms were separate from the bedrooms. We were very happy with the hotel.

Our room was HUGE! For the price we paid, at the last minute, I was very pleasantly surprised. We only needed someplace to crash after a nearby Presidential Inaugural Ball, and chose this hotel based on proximity and price. It turns out our room was a 2-room suite with a large living/dining room with kitchenette, plus a separate bedroom that was about […] the size of a usual hotel room. It was like a one-bedroom apartment! All the finishes were very nice, granite counters, etc., and there was a pretty night time view of the city. I couldn't believe how much we got for the price. It looked like a large portion of the hotel guests were in town for the Presidential Inauguration, and I didn't notice any noise problems or anything negative to report. Very nice hotel!! Close to metro and great breakfast buffet. Walk to metro was a couple of blocks uphill but not a bad walk. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Great stay. Good sized room. Mini kitchen....didn't have to use it, but nice to have.....fridg, microwave, stove top, setting for 4. Didn't have to use the kitchen because the breakfast was nice each day and they even served a light dinner on the weekdays !?

Solid hotel about three blocks from the train station. Room was larger than expected and clean. Although a bit dated, a great deal for the area. If you drive in, note that there is a $15 parking charge.

The size of the room was great. The hotel staff was not overly customer focused; although they did answer questions, they did not go out of their way to be helpful, accommodating or friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Parking was very easy, right in front of the hotel. Check-in was smooth. The room had two queen beds, two comfortable club chairs, a small dining table, a full sized refrigerator, a sink, microwave, and toaster. The cabinets had tableware for four people. There was plenty of room to spread out. Opening the […] curtains, we found a good-sized balcony. Most of the rooms, however, did not have balconies. The bathroom was very clean, and was quite roomy. Breakfast was tasty, although it could have been warmer. The woman working the breakfast room was phenomenal, keeping everything clean and stocked. She could definitely have used some help. The hotel is two blocks from the metro station, but it's uphill. If that's a problem, you can take the hotel shuttle to the metro. It was only about a ten minute ride into Washington. It's also very close to Arlington National Cemetery. I woul recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a very nice hotel close to Washington DC for a very reasonable price. Lees meer

The room itself was fine, and I appreciated what was a very nice breakfast buffet, but I was really put off by two main factors. The first was the staff. While it appeared the cleaning staff did an excellent job, the front desk folks were no help at all. The hotel advertises a free shuttle service to the local metro stop. They don't make mention of […] the fact that it only leaves every 45 minutes even in early AM some times. On two separate days I asked when the next shuttle was coming. The first time, I was curtly told that I would have to wait 30 minutes so naturally I walked it. The second time I was given a 40 minute estimate along with a sarcastic remark about how the walk wouldnt hurt me - I assumed a pot shot about being a bit overweight. The other issue is the sound, which there is little they can do but a bit of a heads up to complete out of towners might be nice. They are right off of the highway which leads to it being quite noisy most of the time. Lees meer
