Comfort Inn Downtown in Denver

Goed hotel en niet duur. Downtown op loopafstand. Prima ontbijt. Shuttle service naar vliegveld.

Het is een prima hotel: kamers zijn schoon en netjes. Genoeg plek in de kamer om ook te werken. De locatie is ideaal. Maar.... 's nachts heb je behoorlijk veel overlast van de liften. Voor mij was dit vooral de eerste 2 nachten een probleem daarna niet meer. En het ontbijt is ook niet geweldig, maar dat geldt voor zo'n beetje alle amerikaanse ontbijten […] heb ik gemerkt. Het hotel is een beetje verouderd en dat merk je hier en daar. Het ontbijt is niet zo verzorgd (plastic bestek en papieren borden). Veel luxe moet je niet verwachten, alles functioneert echter wel en het hotel is proper. Als je op zoek bent naar een goedkoop hotel zou ik het zeker aanraden. Stayed three nights for business. No issues at all. Everything was clean and to order. Asked for room away from elevators because some other reviewers said their was a noise issue. So I had NO noise issue at all. Overall, its a convenient, moderately priced hotel in the downtown area with no frills. Perfect for what I needed.

The hotel is very dated. Our room was extremely small and cramped. The bed and pillows lacked comfort. The bathroom was very old and there was rust all around the sink. The drain in the bathtub was blocked and the tub was filthy. Housekeeping came in after the first day and I am not even sure what they did, if anything at all. I had room service and it was delivered earlier than they quoted, the employee who delivered it was polite, professional and made sure I had everything I needed before she left. We enjoyed the easy access to all the Denver entertainment

Our room was nice looking and clean. Beddingwas clean and soft and bed was comfy. Staff was helpful and very friendly. We parked in a lot practically next door at a fraction of the cost of the hotel's valet service. Breakfast would have been very good if only it had been hot. Fresh items were put out while we watched, but were already cold. We felt […] mark-up on room service items was very high. Our room was well appointed with a large flatscreen TV, comfy bed, nice desk and great shower. We did wish the room was larger. We did enjoy our stay and were comfortable. Kudos to hotel staff. I found hair on the pillow cases after we checked into the motel. I found the rooms to be small and uncomfortable. Walls were thin. The lobby was clean and looked good. I also thought their fitness center was really nice, even though the TV's didn't work on the treadmills.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, excellent and free breakfast. No negatives!

I needed to be in Denver for business and wanted to stay downtown. I chose the Comfort Inn because of where it was located and the solid reputation of the hotel. I had a suite that was large and very nicely decorated. The room was very clean and on an upper floor which is nice in this hotel to get away from city and road noise. Clean, bed rather hard, location within one block of 16th St. mall, breakfast good, just the bathroom vanity was too small. Would stay again for price and location.

Hotel was OK - but there was a LOT of drunken low-life activity late at nite. Yelling in the halls, drunken couples fighting.....

Good location, a room, a shower

I am ok with the windows not opening for safety but when there isn't an option to crake a window for fresh air it's not ok.

Our overall experience was great. The only negative comment was that when we checked in our room smelled funny.

This hotel is much nicer than you would expect for the reasonable price. The staff was friendly and efficient. the bed was nice, the room was modern and clean. Tons of places to eat or drink within walking distance. Very nice!

It was cheaper than most hotels I looked at downtown but if you look hard enough, I'm sure you could find another hotel close in price that is much higher quality. Stains on the bed, tiny room and bathroom. Limited amenities. If you find a deal at the Hilton, I'd take that one. It's twice the hotel the Comfort Inn was.

very modern and clean rooms...great location...but beware if you need to park a car, they only provide valet parking at a ridiculous rate of $25 per day...i would advice finding a nearby parking garage for less than 1/2 the cost.

I really liked the location and the price of this hotel for Downtown Denver. However, the bed wasn't very comfortable and the Wi-Fi connectivity was terrible. If you can handle sleeping on a mediocre bed and having decent access to Wi-Fi isn't a priority, then this might be the hotel for you.

Very good location for downtown events. Walls are very thin, if your neighbors are loud talkers or like to wake up early you'll hear them.

Only suprise at this facility was the charge for parking. I did not see information that this would be a charged parking facility.

We had a great stay here for a long weekend. The location is perfect, the staff, especially the valet staff, were very kind and helpful. I only have a couple complaints: because of the great location, it's pretty busy and Sunday morning trying to check out was horrible. The lines were super long at the lobby desk and the valet. Also, we stayed over […] st Patrick's weekend and there was a lot of commotion so we didn't get much sleep Saturday night. Lots of partiers, sirens. The room was nice and comfortable. Hated the sliding bathroom door. We were a bit cramped with two adults and two kids but that was expected. Room service was great too! Good food. Lees meer

I was very pleased with my recent stay. The room was a bit small but perfect for me since I was alone. The service was great, room was clean, and overall very pleased. The breakfast was an added bonus. Highly recommend.

If you stay at this hotel, make sure to ask to be as high up as possible! We were on the 21st floor looking down upon beautiful downtown Denver. The room was quaint but hardly noticeable since the room was super trendy and overlooked downtown Denver. We were in need of a few bathroom items and the staff were very quick and helpful in the delivery of […] those items. The only thing we didn't love is the $25 for overnight parking but it's basically expected when you park downtown.....you always pay for parking downtown anywhere. DO NOT accidentally lock yourself out of your room, because the hotel staff at the front desk will not give you another key!!! Even though I stated all my identification was in my room, it took me two attempts and a phone call to get back into my room. Horrible customer service

Pro: Great location, particularly for the price. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent albeit small room. Free wifi. Free breakfast. Cons: Thin walls. Breakfast food not particularly good. Good if all you're looking for is a place to sleep.

My husband has a senior scooter to get around and we used the valet service. We had to keep bothering attendants to get our car so we could get to the scooter. It would have been very helpful to have a parking lot easily accessible .

The location is the appeal of this hotel. However, getting thrown unceremoniously into a room that was literally a converted closet was not appealing. A retrofitted bathroom, and terrible beds lead to a week of back pain and poor sleep. if you want to stay near 16th street, just pony up the extra cash and go somewhere else.

This hotel was great. The only drawback is that it did not have a pool or jacuzzi and there is no parking except for a fee to valet park your car. The room was spacious and had a great view of downtown Denver. Overall, this hotel was awesome and in the middle of everything downtown!!!

I have stayed at this Comfort Inn several times over the past 5 years. Normally I don't stay at Comfort Inns, but this is an exception. This is a well-managed, comfortable, low-price hotel in a prime location. It's affiliated with the Brown Palace Hotel (across the street, with enclosed overhead walkway), which gives Comfort Inn customers discount access […] to top-class dining at the Brown if you so choose. Parking valet service is well run (and necessary, downtown location with limited street parking). A significant improvement over the past few years was a complete re-work of the formerly slow, noisy elevators, which are quiet and fast now. This hotel was within walking distance of lots of attivities in the downtown denver area. 16th St Mall was just a few blocks away. The rooms were a bit small, but were adequate since we were only in it while we slept. The only surprise was the unexpected $20 parking charge. Staff was friendly.
