Portland-Days Inn South in Clackamas

The room was an average room. Nothing fancy it was expected for the price. Not disappointed for the price. It's an inexpensive hotel, good bargain. Satisfied with my stay.

We always stay here for easy access to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment. Interstate is easy access to other Portland attractions. Always clean and we get good service.

The Hotel was hard to get to unless you are from Clackamas. I ended up back on the freeway three times trying to find entrance. No signs saying enter here from street. Also the hotel appeared nice from the outside and inside the lobby however when I got to my room I was shocked to say the least. The room was outdated and tiny! and the bed was hard as […] a rock. We like the hotel very much because it's close to the Clackamas town center and the location is very good.

I stayed at the Portland Days Inn this weekend after getting a great room rate on Hotels.com. I thought I was getting a good deal until i got there. The room was beyond tiny. The "free" wifi only worked about 45 minutes total the 2 days I stayed there. There was loud construction going on until 7 PM Saturday night. The walls were paper thin and the […] couple next to me was having marathon sex. And the night manager acted as if she hated her job and was not happy that she had to help me, either when I checked in or when i tried to figure out why the wifi wasn't working. Clean and very friendly and best price on the internet the weekend we needed it. Even better since it had a HOT HOT tub.. Will definitely stay there again when in the area.

Frig did not work and rooms small and run Down. Location was great and rooms quiet

This hotel is located within walking distance to the Clackamas mall and Transit center. This allows easy access to downtown Portland (35min train).

This hotel is just what you expect: We got an inexpensive rate, which was what we wanted. We were near our relatives, which was convenient. The room was clean, and maintained nicely while we were there. It is not a vacation hotel, if you are looking for your fun at your hotel. It is a place to sleep. For that it is fine. This is an adequate 2 star hotel. It was close to 205, so easy freeway access and is close to mall and close to a lot of restaurant choices. The room very small - not much room to more around. However, it did have a refrigerator. The bathroom sink was extremely small and the toilet handle stuck if you didn't lift it up. Room was VERY small!

This hotel is located really close to the freeway so it is a zip in and out yet far enough for you not to hear the cars. The room was clean but smelled of mildew. The A/C unit was noisy but I still slept well. The bed was OK.

The room I got was TINY but that didn't bother me at all. I was surprised at how quiet it was inside, even being next to the busy roads. Everything was fine.

So it's a Days Inn in the suburbs... what can a person expect? You are about 20 minutes from downtown PDX which is cool. I was here on interviews so the party/action scene downtown wasn't something I cared to be close to. This hotel did its job for me, a clean place to sleep and shower. The other weird part about […] it was getting off the freeway and getting to the hotel you have to go through a shopping center (no u-turn at the next major light).... a little odd but my gps got me there just fine. Very minimally appointed room, small sq ft. Staff was not at desk for check-in and the wait was 10 minutes. The toilet in the room ran all night long. I had stayed at this location prevously just two weeks prior, at that visit the lighting fixture in the bathroom fell off the wall during the night. This hotel needs some updating. The only problem I had was with the TV. I had to have someone come and fix it, and still after that it did not work right. Not very relaxing evening. Everything else was good

I don't expect much from roadside hotels, so there was nothing to be too disappointed about. Yes, the room was tiny, but I wasn't planning on having a party, curing sausage, or building a baby crib from I*ea, so I didn't mind. There is a lot to do nearby, from shopping to eating to drinking. Would stay again.

I checked in late Monday night so I didn't notice anything. When I got up Tuesday all the trash cans were overflowing. The pool was green. There was vomit in the hall. It remained in this condition through out the day on Tuesday. I was book to be there through the week but I couldn't stay at the hotel due to it being so dirty. The location of the hotel fit our needs, however the reason we choose it didn't meet our expectations at all. It was very hot in Portland and the swimming pool water was filthy. Couldn't bring myself to go in. The pool area was quite run down, The hot tub was empty and out-of-order as well. I would not stay again,

We booked this hotel last minute and were glad to get a good deal. The room was clean and comfortable. The only minor disappointment was that the hot tub was missing water. (That's the best part!) It looked like it was near completion of a renovation project. Overall we were very satisfied with our choice for a convenient, clean hotel.

I didn't realize that Clackamas was outside the city of Portland. The Days Inn has all the basics and is near a MAX Rail Station, so getting into Portland was easy. If you have a rental car, transportation is even more convenient. The staff was very friendly, clean rooms, okay continental breakfast (complimentary). We stayed here just one night before continuing our journey. It needs a little updating but the rooms were comfortable, quiet and clean. The employees were very friendly. It was in a great area near shopping/restaurants and quiet neighborhoods with easy access to I-205. We'd definitely stay again.

It was a very cheap rate and loved that! .. but the man at the desk to check in for 15 minutes while he finished his personal phone call, very disappointed in that service!

The beds were very uncomfortable. As my husband put it "taco shaped". We were told breakfast was until 10 a.m. when actually they stopped serving at 9. There were alot of unhappy people because of this and the hotel did nothing to make it right. The bathroom was not clean. Under the sink area hadn't been cleaned for months.

stayed for one night. friendly staff clean rooms/ comfortable bed. plus free breakfast.

the few things I did not like about this hotel was at breakfast.. there were 2 pictures of milk out... but they were NOT sitting in a bowl of ice as it should have been. the server did keep up with refilling other items and the other disappointment was the breakfast trash should have been tended to during breakfast as they 2 cans both were overflowing […] and one person pushed down on the trash to add hers to it.... As stated room was a bit small, but we were only sleeping there. The window needs better seal, we listened to it wind Whistle for a while again not a big deal I am sure they would have found a fix if we had asked, just surprising. Beds are clean and firm pillows are soft, linens are decent. Great Bargain for the price. SECURITY - Here lies a note....went […] to front desk because on second day all three of our keys quit working. Walked up to the girl at the front desk, said "Can you re-key these to room 143, they are all failing?" Very convenient location and nice, clean, small rooms. Quick access to Hwy 205 and the airport. Right across the highway from a huge shopping mall, restaurants, movies. My second stay there.

The room was tinier than I expected. Think college dorm room, and my room didn't have a microwave. Other rooms did, and when I asked for one, I was told I would get it, but it never arrived. Unusual circumstances make this a strange hotel to stay in. The first room I was in had a very strange floor. I think they poured the concrete and then forgot to smooth it. It was like walking on carpeting over a gravel pit - so bumpy it was necessary to wear shoes. I moved to another room and the front desk said they had another complaint about the […] floor. The second room didn't have any issues except second hand smoke. There is a sleep clinic on the third floor and the participants smoke continuously outside the nearest entrance and prop open the door so they can get back in. This pulls smoke into the hotel. Have stayed here several times for the great prices and convenient location. Located right next to freeways and Clackamas town center, gas stations and lots of little restaurants. Breakfast is great and has multiple choices for the picky child, including waffles, cereal, toast, muffins, and fruit. Will be staying here again next time I am in town.

We arrived and asked for an upstairs room and rode in an elevator that smelled like gas and helium balloons. My wife took a bath and noticed mold and mildew growing in the bathtub. The pool was slimy and unclean. The sauna had not been cleaned in over a year. Upon leaving, the counter clerk Cindy was extremely rude and accused us of smoking in our room […] and charged us $150 because some guest on another floor smelled smoke. She did not even investigate the issue, just was going to charge us! We made her go to the room and investigate, and she was clearly wrong then demanded we leave for challenging her "authority"! Never stay here, they are dirty, moldy, rude and gross. We called the Days Inn corporate office and said this location is privately owned and has a litany of complaints against them! Lees meer

The room was very small we had difficulty finding room for both of our suitcases. I think this room was best suited to one or two night stays. We were here one night on our way to a wedding the next day and it was fine for that use. The breakfast had lots of choices. We would stay again if we just needed a room for one at most 2 nights.

Our family chose this hotel for its location to relatives. Our only complaints were getting into the parking lot and finding the hotel lobby/office. We felt it was'nt well marked. The room was comfortable, but small. It was suprisingly quiet, since its situated next to a freeway.
