Nieuw hotel vlakbij de luchthaven. Wij hebben geen last gehad van de vliegtuigen. Prima ontbijt, voldoende keus. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel.Zwembad en jacuzzi waren 24 uur open. Alles perfect schoon gehouden. Een oase van rust en toch in de buurt van de strip. Heerlijk om binnen 5 minuten aan het ontbijt te kunnen zitten of bij het zwembad zonder eerst 15 minuten door een casino te moeten lopen.

Heel mooi en luxe hotel, enig minpunt is dat er geen of nauwelijks ontbijtmogelijkheden zijn. Verder een luxe hotel met alle voorzieningen, dame die ons incheckte was vriendelijk maar het was tevens haar eerste dag, de rest van het personeel was iets minder vriendelijk. Het hotel zou ik eerder beoordelen als 4*, over de top (zoals Bellagio/Ceasars Palace) was het niet.

super super super mooi, helemaal perfect. Bij aankomst heel aardig personeel. Kamer kon omgeboekt worden naar een kamer met heel mooi uitzicht! Zonder extra kosten! Geen domme resort fee die er ineens nog dagelijks bij kwam! heerlijk, perfect hotel gewoon!

Goed hotel voor verblijf niet ver van de Strip. Restaurant Ellis Island naast hotel gelegen met heerlijk steakmenu voor $7,99. Supermarktje 7 eleven vlakbij.Handige shuttle van en naar luchthaven.

leuk hotel op de strip, zonder onverwachte fee's maar over de hele lijn wel iets minder dan bv NYNY,Luxor,Excalibur; de gemiddelde leeftijd van de casino gasten zit er zo boven de 45j ipv de andere casino's rond de 25-30j; ps:ontbijt=broodje bij de starbucks

The Casino furnishes 42,000 square feet of slots, video poker, video keno, blackjack, craps, roulette, Pai Gow, Caribbean Draw poker, keno, and a small race-and-sports book.
On the second floor is the smoke-free Poker Room with six tables, three plasma TVs, daily tournaments at noon and 9 PM, complimentary poker lessons at 10 AM, and a progressive Bad Beat Jackpot.

Mijn eerste indruk was: een oud en muf casino, desondanks zijn de kamers wel schoon en groot. Erg leuk / vriendelijk personeel. Gezellige sfeer in het casino. altijd druk. klein buiten zwembad naast de parkeergarage.

great place
The bath tub non-stop leaking, the sound made us un-comfortable. We asked the room-keeping to solved, but they didn"t fix it. The room carpet so dirty. I hope the new management can do the problems.We"re the regular customers in this hotel. So , we hope next time, we have the clean and comfortable room in the future.

Great Location and the free breakfast was a plus.. we stayed up all night so we wouldn't miss it! Fun experience Downtown! And winning at the D was a PLUS!! Will be back after the renovations!!

"Needs alot of help"
Although the staff was friendly, the hotel is in shambles. The casino is nice and the location is great when you want to access the strip. The problem is that the room is old and not updated or repaired well. The noise is a big problem. It needs better insulation. "Decent Hotel right in the center of Fremont St"
It was just an ok stay at best to be honest. The pool was something you would expect from a motel 6 or worse. The rooms were decent at best with an older TV model and very basic set up. Very unsatisfied had to change rooms got sick because of the painting on the 31st floor. Sink had no stopper.mattress was not confortable.had to purchase medicine from CVs drugs because paints toxic odors made me sick and I was throwing up.

New management in an older place in downtown Las Vegas. Despite the rehab they have done, it is still a little seedy in that area. I had a room on the 32 floor, but because of the "Fremont St Experience" with ear-blasting loud rock music, had to run my room fan constantly to cover the noise at night. My friend had a room on the eighth floor and needed […] to use her ear plugs. Breakfast was included in price, though, oddly, I had to pay extra for coffee. Staff was a bit dismissive--no one seemed to know where the public transportation center was (a few blocks away) and no one could be bothered to find out for me. "Nothing wrong"
The only reason you even clicked on this hotel when you were doing your search is the price. Well don't mind the negative reviews. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. The rooms are a little old, but they are big and clean. The desk staff and cleaning staff are great. If you want to have a mint on your pillow and pay way too much for the […] same accomodations, go somewhere else. And yes, you have to buy the drink with breakfast but it still costs $5, or $3 if you are cheap and want to stiff the server (which I saw people do). Right on Fremont Street. No complaints. Lees meer
"Not a bad place"
After I booked my reservation I noticed some bad reviews so I got a little worried since I did a non refundable option. However, I only stayed for one night and it was not bad at all. When I checked in I asked for a renovated room, but the clerk informed me that they aren't even starting renovations until the summer, however she said she would give […] me a room on a higher floor which might be a little nicer. We were on the 30th floor, and the room was definitely out of date, but at least it was clean. I even checked for bed bugs just to be sure and found none. One minor complaint was that the air conditioning was really loud and kept waking me up (but it worked well), and once when we were going up the elevator from the lobby floor, it went up to the 28th floor, stopped, went back down to the lobby, and the door didn't open for maybe a minute. I was about to push the call button, but it finally opened. So we got in a different elevator. Until they renovate the hotel is purely basic--perfect if you just need a place to crash. Lees meer
First room was on 3rd floor. It was totally a disaster. smelled bad, wallpaper coming off bathroom wall, halls looked dirty. Worst I have seen in any hotel. Hotels .com said the hotel had been remodeled. Truth is that you were only startiong the job. I was moved to 34th floor which was OK. This is not a high quality facility.

Having dealt with 3 front desk staff prior to getting the manager, it took forever to get checked in, when we made it to the room the keys didn't work, got keys that worked and got in the room and it wasn't clean!

"From the Fitz to the New D Hotel"
Derek Stephens who recently acquired this hotel i starting to make much needed improvements. He started with the new "Long Bar" which is very impressive. Next step is the hotel rooms and casino. I can't wait to see the final transformation. This will be the place to be once this is completed. Best of Luck to him and his team. Great stay as always!

Parking was a bit confusing and tedious at times and the rooms weren't as up to date as one might think a recently renovated hotel in begas would be but had no complaints about the service or quality of the rooms. "In the heart of the Fremont street action"
I thought the room was really good value and the free breakfast was much better than I was expecting. The only real complaint, if I can even call it that, was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. I had to set up my laptop in the bathroom to read my email. Overall the staff were friendly and the room was great for the price.

"Downtown Vegas"
We chose this hotel because of its location and it didn't disappoint. The bathtub had a very leaky faucet but otherwise the room was okay and especially for the price, it was worth it.

This review is not for people who can afford to stay at the Wynn. The D or Fitzgerald was a great find, free breakfast and a great view. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also great friendly staff

The peple working at the reception and in the restaurant are rude and impolite. We had coupons for FREE breakfast - but they charged us for the coffee !

It was a happenin' place on friday night. You could sing along to the band playin on freemont street from our room on the 24th floor. Plus I liked the free breakfast.

This was a pretty good for for the price we paid. I live in Las Vegas, and was just taking a nice out. Its in a great location if you want to go out on Freemont Street. The rooms were clean, and our check in experience was nice. We were given a late check out for 2pm, since we were not able to check in until about Midnight.
