Very good service - better than higher star hotels! The location was convenient for getting around Pasadena especially business meetings and acces to restaurants.

I booked this hotel for a Girls Trip, since we wanted a place to stay that wasn't too far outside of L.A. And this place was perfect! The room was clean and comfortable, and the pool and hot tub are open late. I love the included breakfast, free parking, and free Wifi, but the icing on the cake was the hotel service. The check-in process was super quick, […] and the guy who checked us in took the time to give us an area map and list of restaurants to eat at, including one that gave a discount to those staying at the hotel. Our only problem was a rooster in the neighborhood started crowing around 3am in the morning and did not let up till we left about 9am. Front desk already had some complaints

Walls are quite thin. Front desk folk are great. Lots of hallway noise in the morning. Convenient location.

Best staff, very friendly and willing to do what it takes to make your stay wonderful

For the price, this hotel is a great alternative. Although the room we got was a little bit small for 4 people, the service was great, the free WiFi and breakfast are a definite plus and the free and ample parking make this hotel a great value.

Stay was for Rose Bowl parade. Check- in was very quick and employees were extremely friendly and very helpful. Loved that we were immediately handed printed info regarding parade and bowl game (transportation, restaurants, etc) I knew we would be paying top $$ because of Pasadena events. Stay away from this dump of a hotel. The staff was rude, the management was non existent and the quality of the the accommodations rival a bad Motel 6.

IN AN EMERGENCY SITUIATION THEY CAME TO OUR RESCUE I HAD TO PUT MY PARENTS THERE AFTER CRAZY WEATHER IN CALIFORNIA THE ROOM WAS IMPECABLE THE YOUNG MAN HELPING THEM COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE ATTENTIVE. The hotel location is very east in Pasadena and there are other hotels not mentioned by hotels.com which would have been much better for me in terms of location.

The hotel was clean and affordable. We liked the breakfast buffet very much, there was a good variety of breakfast items. The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the Paseo Pasadena mall and close to Old Town Pasadena. The hotel sits away from the main street so the room was nice and quiet. I needed to book a hotel room at the last minute and chose this hotel not knowing the area very well. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was close to great restaurants, a Whole Foods, and close to the freeway. Can always count in Holiday Inn Express to be clean, in a good location and breakfast! Love it, always look for them first.

Even though this hotel is not new or large, it had great service and was comfortable. It was close to freeway entrance without hearing all the freeway noise or seeing it. It was in a great area. The employees always asking if there is an anything they can assist you with. They helped with locating an address, finding a place to eat, and offering bottled […] water, How often are we charged $5.00 for a $1 bottle of water? It was free Upon leaving they gave us each a bottle of water (cold) for our journey home. I would definitely come back and tell all my friends about this hotel. This hotel is kept very clean and have great service. The location is ok. A few restaurants in walking distance, it's great if you need a freeway close by. The place is quiet. Got a good breakfast included in the price which makes a difference. The pool is nice. The only thing that bothers me are the beds. They're soft and rocks when your partner moves […] around. Room was clean and the breakfast buffet was plentiful.

Great place to stay for short visits to LA. Easy access to freeway and shops. Pretty decent breakfast choices. Front desk very friendly!

Well maintained newer hotel. No problems with cleanliness and service. Everything was as I would expect from a Holiday Inn Express property.

Very surprised and pleased with this hotel. We were only in town overnight for a sporting event and were just looking for a convenient and reasonably priced hotel. This definitely was it! The staff was incredible, the hotel was very clean (lobby, hallways, rooms), the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was not your typical cereal and pastry […] buffet. We visited LA area to see universities. We chose Pasadena for Cal Tech. We stayed at Holiday Inn for three days. Our stay was very comfortable. Their staff was friendly. Breakfast was great. Room TV was not good but we had very little time to watch it. Location is good because it is near 210. We loved our stay.

The hotel was nice and in a good location.. There was internet, shopping and car rental all near by. The SMELL though was another story. The hallways stunk and at night the strong smell of urine permeated the room through the airconditioner. I couldn't sleep and it was a nightmare. This ruined everythings else good about it.

There is nothing wrong with this hotel. It had everything we needed for our quick one night stay in the Pasadena area. But the neighborhood! This is literally right next door to the totally skanky Hi-Hopper (or something like that) hotel which is a total pit. The smell of the hotel was less not so great. The rooms were clean, but the guests in the room next to us and above us could be heard all night long. might as well been in the room with us. Insulation needs improvement. Have always been happy with Hotels.com, not this time.

Ths property is amazing especially for its location. Everything is clean and well maintained. Nice amentities including their famous breakfast. Friendly knowledgable staff, just a $15 dollar cab ride to the bars and clubs on Colorado!

The hotel was very nice and clean. They offer a great free breakfast every morning. The room was a little small for two adults and one child.

Breakfast was great, service was just as good. For what you pay it is worth it.

Hotel was spotless, beds comfortable, staff always courteous. Location was convenient for our needs. It is not within walking distance of Pasadena downtown but a short drive if you have a car. Several restaurants within walking distance.
