Travelodge By The Space Needle in Seattle

I got a great deal on the Hotels website, so it really amplified my experience. For the rate I received, the hotel quality seemed extra nice. The staff was friendly and I loved the simple courtesy of GOOD coffee 24 hrs in the lobby with real cream. Yes it seems so minor but I really am pleased with the extra effort. They also had doughnuts and water […] with fresh fruit flavoring it. The bed was really soft and comfortable. The room was small but who is spending that much time in the room when there are so many great sites in Seattle. We had no transportation and the hotel was convenient to bus lines. The area directly around the hotel was not so nice, but not a far walk to many nice districts, like Fremont, Queen Anne, Capitol Hill, Downtown, and Seattle Center. I do wish they would extend the breakfast hours to 10 or 10:30. The Internet was down on the public computers but they did get it fixed by our second day. The printer wouldn't work but the clerk printed the item in their office instead. Great service! Lees meer

but they do, at least here. TV was also ancient, but why would you watch it anyway? Also the Walgreen's down the block once again shows that their promise to be open 24 hours is a lie, it closed at 11. free Breakfast donuts were excellent though.

I was in Seattle for busines trip so I thought this would be a great location but I was disappointed because the hotel looks very old and the hot water doesnt work most of the time., If you dont shower by 7.30am in the morning the hot water runs out and you have to shower cold water I found someone sleeping on the carpet in front of my room when I came […] back to the hotel at 2am one night and had to call the front desk to come remove the person. The breakfast was not that good as compared to hotels next door. The beds were very comfortable and clean. They provide free internet but you get disconnected and had to reconnect every 20mins that you're online. My work requires me to be online most of the time so it was very frustrating. The only problem we occurred with this hotel is that the hot tub, and pool were both closed, the main thing my boyfriend was looking forward to after a long day walking all over Seattle.

This was a good stay. Noise from adjoining rooms was noticeable, but not disturbing. Breakfast (provided) was fresh and well maintained. I was surprised by the extra parking charge, which was an additional 15% over the price charged by hotels.com. There was really no option but to pay the additional charge.

we expected a newer hotel than we saw..service was tongue in cheek (i didn't mind that )..i just didn't expect to pay full parking fee, i thought it should come free as courtesy for hotel guests. Although we enjoyed the hotel's breakfast every morning.

Great location; old, but clean hotel; good breakfast; some problems with the infrastructure and room ammenities. Water pressure in shower is so way too low. The bed was incredibly soft, which my wife liked, but hurt my back. The fridge did not work at all. We had to use ice to keep pop cold. In the three nights we were there they did not fix it. The […] tv was old and blurry without any movie channels. However, because we only stayed there to sleep and eat breakfast, staying there for a few nights was fine. Pros: This was a good one for me since it was located conviently in the Seattle business district. The continental breakfast was good. The fitness room was satusfactory for a quick workout. Room was clean and comfortable. It was also quite affordable compared to the other hotels in the area. My company stayed at the Travel Lodge in Seattle on February 24-25th of this month. I am writing this review on behalf of my staff and myself who stayed at the hotel for two nights. The first room (Two Queen beds) we stayed in was in very poor condition. The shower door was not bolted down and when opened it would come undone. The inside shower had […] black mold on the ceiling of the shower and along the corners of the shower molding. The toilet seat did not stay on the toilet and was the wrong size. The bathroom light / fan would shut off after being on for (2) minutes and if anybody flushed the toilet they had to lift the lid to stop the toilet from continuously running. The main room also had issues, the floor had stains all over the carpet as if the floors had not been shampooed in years. The queen size beds were overwhelming the room. In order to get to the bathroom you had to turn sidewise and walk alongside the bed to get to the bathroom. Anybody wanting to use the bathroom through out the night would have to slide by the person sleeping to get to the bathroom. The other bed was up against the windows of the room limiting you only one access off the bed. Another issue with this room was all through the night people slid flyers under the door for local restaurants or clubs. The last flyer came under the door at 3:00AM the first night. The TV had a softball size green color on the screen, so watching TV in bed was not much of an option. We asked to be moved from this room the next morning and were placed in a better room on the third floor that did not have as many issues as the one of the fourth floor. One surprise for us in the morning was one of our vehicles parked in a parking stall on the street during the night received a parking ticket at 3:00 AM for parking on the street. No signs were up stating that parking from 11:00PM to 4:00 was not allowed. This added a $47.00 expense to our weekend bill. As for the second room I was never allowed to view it on Lees meer

just stayed here one night and my only complaint was that the snack machine wouldn't accept dollar bills. otherwise, the service staff were very friendly and helpful. dan, the concierge for the evening, even helped us figure out how to access wifi better and was very chatty and conversational.

Overall, nice place to stay. Staff was great except for the night manager Jim, he really needs to work on his people skills. Continental breakfast is nominal. Location is great.

It was easy to locate, was close to where I needed to go, easy off and on the interstate. I found this hotel to be very conveniently located, the room was what I needed, and the staff helpful. I would stay there again if I needed to be in Seattle..

I stayed in the Travelodge for New Years Eve because I had a party to attend at the Pacific Science Center and didn't want to sit in traffic for 2 hours trying to get out of Seattle after the firework show (like I did the previous year). This hotel is great in terms of location- walking distance to the space needle, EMP and to the monorail that takes you right into town by Pike Place. The stay wasn't too bad for the price. It was what we needed to go to the Seahawks game. They had a shuttle service that took us to the game and picked us up. The hotel was overall decent but it was pretty shabby.

For some reason, I decided to not rent a car and take the train from the airport and walk to the hotel. While I did arrive safely, the night walk wasn't the best idea, and I wouldn't recommend it. For the price ir was what we wanted. Good location to transportation, walking to many attractions. Nothing fancy but clean , affordable, friendly.

Look, you've got a 50/50 chance of getting a decent room. Unfortunately for us, our non-smoking room reeked of smoke (to be fair, I'm sure they tried to mask the smell with some cleaning agent, but it wasn't working), the smell was in our sheets and followed us into the bathroom. The corner sofa chair and ottoman was soiled too. You get what you pay […] for I suppose. The bright side, the locations is super convenient and easy to get to. Excellent location Walking distance to the Space Needle and Science Center. Can walk to several restaurants and pharmacy. Good location, good condition and not far from waterfront. I would recommend this hotel B+ rating

Hotel looked in better shape on photo. Even though location was OK, would not stay there again.

This hotel is very conveniently located if you want to be close to the SpaceNeedle or downtown overall a very good place to stay the rooms and bathroom are a bit small but the location and price make up for it.

Actually, nicest travelodge we have ever stayed in. Would definitely stay again. Cant really say the same for most of them. Location was good too.

Much nicer than Travelode's I've stayed in years ago...like the complimentary breakfast...beds were pretty comfortable...we were charged extra to park there...WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?! We only stayed one night...I'd probably find something else if we had to stay longer...

A little run down. Rooms were comfortable but older. Requested a late check out after arriving very late but the front desk neglected to inform the housekeeping staff (I assume) and they came knocking 3 separate times. A little annoying after requesting a specific time to check out.

Clean, quiet room Crowded but good breakfast

Great location, but overall, very poor quality for the price. Had to move rooms as windows did not open. Breakfast served on paper plates...not enviromentally concerned hotel.

Neighborhood was somewhat edgy-children playing in windows of the next building which was our window view for the one day which we stayed here. I wish I could say something better, however there were smells of stale carpet thoughout the hallways--I had a very tough time sleeping. It was a great location to walk from the hotel to the space needle.

Every thing was fine with this hotel. Although it is an older hotel, iIt was very convenient walking distance to the Space Needle.Although the room was quite small (very small shower stall) everything was spotless. I would stay there again.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The room, however, is a little too small to accommodate a king sized bed. They should consider switching to queen sized beds.

We loved it there. The complementary breakfast, the pool and jacuzzi. The view was real nice and the price was super amazing for the weekend!! So much to do an see within walking distance

Hotel was very close to Space Needle BUT it's very old, extremely musty smelling and the room/carpet was very dirty and stained. Breakfast room was ok for what you get

Perfect for the night before a cruise. It is an older hotel, but very clean and does not smell. Decent free breakfast. Very convenient for nights stay before our cruise. The front desk had sign up sheet for shuttle to cruise ship (7.00 per person). Free coffee, and tea 24 hours.

dont be decieved by the tacky looking exterior-this hotel is a good value for the money. the front desk poeple were polite, professional and got me checked in quickly. the coffee bar is excelent and the rooms are comftortible and clean. the pool/hot tub though small offer welcome relaxation after a day on the town. overall, i would recomend this place […] to anyone wanting to stay downtown Lees meer

Every time we visit Seattle we must stay at the Travelodge for at least one night. We stayed here on our first Seattle trip and our kids loved the outdoor swimming pool and breakfast sausages, hardboiled eggs, waffles and juice. For us, at least the mattresses always seem comfortable. We've had better nights sleeps here than at the pricier hotels so […] we can't complain. The decor certainly isn't new. The pictures make it look a lot nicer then it is...just an FYI. Rooms are small and cramped.

Well priced, well located, clean, friendly, helpful staff. got a good nights sleep.
