Country Inn & Suites by Carlson, Asheville I-240 - Tunnel Rd in Asheville

We spent 5 nights at this hotel and were very pleased with the front desk, cleaning staff, and quiet rooms. It also was a special touch that they provide "real" plates, coffee cups and silverware at breakfast. We enjoyed the indoor pool and spa after a long day of sightseeing. Hotel was comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. The only negative comment I have is when you enter the lobby, you are met with the chlorine smell of the indoor pool. Otherwise a very nice hotel.

Hotel staff were excellent, going above and beyond to assure our stay was a comfortable one. Highly recommend this hotel for it amenities, location, comfort and excellent staff. Special thanks to "Steve" for taking the time to relocate our room on short notice.

Enjoyed a relaxing stay at this hotel. Clean, great service, comfortable room, quiet, very good hot breakfast, fruits, cereals all yummy. We were pleasantly surprised by the large room! We weren't expecting a couch, chair, microwave, and little fridge but it was all there! The hot breakfast buffett was the best I ever had at a hotel. We plan to always stay at this hotel each time we visit Asheville again.

I felt as if the hotel was a little dirty for the price. I was very disappointed in the hot breakfast. It was bland and seemed to be microwaved sausage and instant eggs. When you pay a certain price for a hotel, you expect it to meet certain standards. I dont feel that this hotel met those standards. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly but the stay was awful !! The hotel was over run with a little league girls soccer team. They completely took over the pool area (which was not heated well and cold) My four year old granddaughter was very excited about the pool but we could not enjoy it during our stay. The soccer team was very rude and […] loud and kept hitting her with their ball so that she was unable to enjoy anything. The hotel staff should not of allowed them to take over the whole area or should have informed me that a soccer team was staying there. I will never stay there agian. Lees meer

Nice location - great breakfast!

1st think I noticed was a nice scent in the room & how CLEAN the room was. We were very impressed. Staff was very helpful when I had questions.

Very clean, comfortable, convenient location. Helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent! My only complaint was that I could not seem to adjust the heat and it was too hot for sleeping.

All aspects of this hotel were outstanding for the price. Clean, large king room, helpful staff, quiet location, great breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area--restaurants,attractions etc. The location was great--close to downtown. We would go back.

The hotel was over 2.5 miles from the Civic Center 1t 87 Haywood, not 1.8 mi. as reported on the website.

The hotel was great but when we asked how to get to Biltmore Village the desk staff sent us in the opposite direction from where it is located. We went several miles out of our way. Thankfully we had our GPS in the suitcase

we stayed one night while visiting the Biltmore estate. It was an okay room with two beds and three chairs, so with the three of us we all had someplace to sit which was nice. Not all hotels we stayed at this trip had that extra seating. The hot tub was nice, I didn't use the pool or exercize room. The breakfast was a nice selection. I didn't care for […] biscuits and gravy and there was no bacon, but there were plenty of other alternatives, it was a nice breakfast. I would stay here again if I was in the Asheville area. the hotel is older but it is in a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint about the room was that the pillows were uncomfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast and the complimentary cookies were delicious.

My girlfriend and I were down to visit family and decided to see the Biltmore House for the day/night. I was very happy to find this place, as many places were booked or way overpriced for the fall tourists. It was new, very clean, and very friendly service. Hot breakfast the next morning was delicious, and was a very nice surprise. The indoor pool […] and hot-tub was a huge plus as the weather was less than great while we were there (bother were also very clean and well maintained). We had a very nice experience with the hotel. The staff was very good and the accomodations were quite adequate.

Extremely clean, quiet and peaceful. Staff was seen everywhere cleaning. Breakfast was wonderful. Couldn't ask for a better stay - would highly reccommend!!

This hotel was very clean. The free breakfast each day was great. 2 tv's in the room was great for out teenage son and us. The bed in the bedroom was really comfortable and the sofa bed in the other room was good for our son. The service desk personelle were very friendly and helpful. We'd stay there again.

Toliet was not flushing properly, Went to eat Breakfast the first morning of a two day stay and the room was being cleaned before we returned. Instead of waiting to have the room finish we told the maid to forget making the bed and exchanging towels. Great place to stay! Staff was friendly and helpful, pool was very nice-my grandaughter liked it very much! Parking at hotel was convenient to room. Breakfast was good. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We arrived early and room was not ready, so they sent a team in and within 15 minutes ready. They were great at the counter with directions and all kinds of information. Food/ sightseeing and even shopping. Will stay again next year on our trip..... Quite and comfy

HOTEL WAS IN A NICE LOCATION FOR WHAT I NEEDED. EASY ACCESS IN AND OUT. HOTEL HAD A NICE POOL AND HOT TUB. BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD. TOWELS AND SHEETS WERE CLEAN. CARPET WAS VERY DIRTY. BATHTUB HAD A RING OF BLACK MOLD AROUND IT. AC MADE A LOUD NOISE ALL NIGHT. BEDS WERE VERY HARD. I HAD ASK FOR ADDITIONAL FOAM BED PILLARS. WHAT I GOT WERE VERY SMALL […] HALF SIZE. Good value, neat and clean facility with good front desk service and enjoyed the hot breakfast. Convenient location.

The Hotel was easy to find and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We requested a different room as our view was of the roof in front. They were very happy to change us to another room with a nice view. The beds were comfy and pillows were great. Breakfast was very good, we loved the place and will choose Country Inns again when we travel.

We enjoyed our stay and were well-served whenever we requested anything like directions or dining recommendations. My only comment is that if any hotel were to offer an option of paying a premium for a Tempurpedic mattress, that would become an overiding consideration in our decisionmaking. Very low quality. It was ok, nothing to write home about.

Awesome bed and room. Great extras, only thing it needed was a frig.
