Holiday Inn Main Gate East in Kissimmee

The hotel was accessible and had adequate parking. Check in was smooth and people were polite. Room was fine however I couldn't get the temperature regulated in the room and the air conditioner kept waking me up all night. The worst part was stepping into the washing area which smelled like someone had been sick the night before. Hotel was good. However, be aware if booking through web-site like Hotels.com or another service, not all fees are paid. We were charged extra fees by Holiday Inn after the fact. Have ever had this happen with any other hotel.

the hotel was a great place to stay but if you want to go to seaworld or universal DONT take the shuttle.. it was over crowded, and took forever to get there. we had to pay 30 dollars to ride it and people had to stand up .. but the hotel is well worth the money . it is on our list as THE place to stay in kissimmee...

Was very well located for parks, room was nice, although not as clean as expected it would be....food in the hotel was terrible . I recommend staying here but eating elsewhere

Hotel was nice-personnel behind the desk need to learn to smile and disappointed that Holiday Inn did not recognize my priority club status and award points. In addition to the hotel charge from hotels.com holiday inn added an additional fee and called it a 'resort' fee.

Excellent hotel , very clean , convient , and helpful staff.

I thought for the money I spent on the room it was not worth it!! The staff was not accommodating and were very rude. They cleaning people were very pushy about tipping them and were rushing you to leave when check out is at 12pm...The rooms are not clean. The sheets on my bed were so warn they had spots you could see through. The sheets on the bunk […] beds didn't fit & kept coming off and were put on inside out. The bathroom was so small you could barley turn around just to shut the door. The room smelled like urine. There were hidden fee's they were not clear about... after 8pm there is no place to park!!!! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone and I would never stay there again!!! There are hotels right accross the street that are way better in price and are way bigger!!!! Lees meer

I loved the location of this hotel, took me 7 minutes to get from my hotel to all 4 parks. Best part, it was cheap in price, not in quality.

I dont have a single negetive thing to say about my stayat Holiday Inn. I was bothered with one of the survey questions about the surrounding area. Not a fare question for the Hotel. The one problem i had about that was the not so good restaurants in the area. That has nothing to do with Holiday Inn. To be perfectly honest , we bought a time share through […] the company. I made a mistake with the date of our arrival and the front desk manager went above and beyond to work it out and ease our minds. Great bed and pillow's. Just what you need after a day at the parks. The first night the coffee maker did not work but I got a replacement in 10 Min. Will stay again.

Great room for us and the kids. The only issues the bathroom really small.

If I want a filthy hotel I can get one for far cheaper.

My wife and i stayed for 6 day with 2 kids (5 and 7). We got the kids suite and it worked out great. the Kids had bunk beds and we had a partition wall between us so we could stay up later and watch TV. the pool and hot tub we outside, but great. I would stay there again. good location.

While the staff was friendly and helpful we found a lack of quality in cleanliness of the room - especially with mildew in the bathroom due to a disfunctional vent fan. The matresses gave poor support and were overdue for replacement. Otherwise, the experience was good, but couldn't compensate for the cleanliness issue,

For the price paid, we were pretty satisfied with the hotel. The only complaint we had was that the bed was not very comfortable, could use a new mattress, and those pillows are horrible! It is hard enough to sleep when you are away from home, you really should have comfortable bedding. The sheets were great tho', loved the feel of them.

The hotel reception staff (the person who checked us in)was rude and incompetent;did not encode the room key before giving it to us due to which we had no access to the assigned room for quite a while;in addition,he did not find it necessary to acquaint us with the terrible parking situation,which inconvenienced us to a large degree.However,the old […] guy that helped unlock our room(the hotel handyman probably)was very courteous and helpful.He definitely deserves a better job. The breakfast buffet had a lot of variety but everything tasted awful. They did not bother to replenish the food. I'll never go back to that hotel;will never recommend it to anyone either. Lees meer

Temp was high, maintenance guy came and played with it but that didn't help, they did offer to move us to another room but we were so tired to pack our stuff and move so we stayed in our room. Other than that the service is good and the location is convenient.

Our stay was good. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpfull. The only issue we had was we got tricked into going to a time share presentation. We were asked if we wanted to check out a new hotel they opened. since we are looking to return in the spring we decided to check out the supposedidly new resort, only to find out […] once we arrived it was a time share crap. We were not happy about it although they gave us $30.00 in cash and 2 tickets for a dinner show. Ohter than that the accomodations were good. Lees meer

This is a solid place to stay.

The hotel was better than what I expected. The room had a flat screen TV and the bathroom was spacious and the air condition worked great. Another plus is that inside the hotel they offices for Alamo and Enterprise car rental, it was very convenient for our family since we had to rent a car to go to Miami. I wasn't impress with their shuttle bus schedule […] to the parks, it had a very tight schedule. However, my husband and I took the 8am shuttle bus to the Magic Kingdom and from there we transfer to other buses that would takes us to the other parks. Also, the door to our room made a squeaking noise when it was open, and the carpet needed to be washed. For been a Holiday Inn hotel it didn’t had the microwave or fridge in the room, it wasn’t until our 5th night that they put a mini fridge in our room. Last, be aware there is a resort fee of 4.95 a day. If you're planning to stay here be aware of this charge. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the Holiday Inn Maingate East. I recommend this hotel for families with small children, but make sure you booked the room with the bunk beds for the kids. Lees meer

BATHROOM IN ROOM TO TINY YOU HAD A JOB TO SHUT THE DOOR WITH ONE ADULT IN IT. Very Nice hotel. Rooms are clean and housekeeping is excellent.

Staff was friendly and attentive; pool and jacuzzi were pleasant; didn't get the two queens we wanted, but that's because we ordered through Hotels.com and you can't guarantee with the order when busy; not enough lighting in room entrance; not friendly to business travelers (no desk); otherwise pretty decent accommodations for leisure travelers wanting […] a reasonably priced room very close to the Disney entrance. This was a waste of money! There are much nicer hotels in better locations for less money. We travel to Orlando all the time, and tried this hotel for the first time. Checked in at 4pm and room went inside room to find the bed linen thrown in the floor of one of the beds. Asked maid for extra towels to take to the pool and was refused.... told that […] there are towels at pool, which of course there were not. And size of pool is very small compared to photo. We only stayed for one night and then checked into disney property.... night and day for only 15.00 more per night! And dont forget the ripoff $5.00 a day resort fee. Lees meer

It is very close to all important places that anyone want to visit. And it is easy to memorize it's address. Very clean. Has a very nice resort. The problem that we faced is that we made a reservation ant after we arrived after a long trip, they told us that our room is not ready and they don't even know when it will be ready. I get to stay a whole day to visit a local show but I really enjoy staying at the hotel, I would definitely come back

My family and I have stayed here on two different occasions this year, once in May and in July. We were satisfied with both of our stays, The beds and pillows are a treat. Very comfy for a Holiday Inn. The location of this property is ideal, lot's to do with in walking distance of the hotel. Very close to Disney attractions, they offer free shuttle […] service to the parks. They charge a $5.99 resort fee, not sure why? No extra services are received for the fee. I would not recommend this hotel. We found it dirty, the hotel staff unconcerned, and the parking was insane. We did not feel safe in our room as with the door shut and locked we could see daylight and the hallway. Actually our room wasn't even locked upon our entry, we just pushed the door open.

The front desk was less than excited about greeting their guests and seemed tocare less about making them happy . There was no willingness to bend over backwards let alone compromise . There was mold in the ice bucket one room key was not activated ( an oversight ! ) ,balcony doors screwed shut w/ an empty cigarrett box on the balcony !! One huge thing was the first room we entered smelled like nothing but MOLD. Which my yougnest is allergic too..part of the carpet by the air conditioner was SOAKING WET...my fiance had the room switched and they were accomodating in that sense, the second room was decent and clean. The only other real complaint is that you have to pay to use their computer […] lab...all i needed was 5 quick minutes to pay a couple bills online, and i had to BUY a 20 minute card to even use it...not to mention you have to buy a rollaway bed...and since it's extra, you get a charged the resort fee AGAIN just for the roll away bed...its ridiculous....there has to be cheaper, more accomodating places around then this one. Wireless did not work and the front desk staff seemed to be confused as to it working or having the right password. Glad I was there for only one night or otherwise, this would have been a major issue. Front Desk handled the issue poorly. Otherwise, the hotel was great, quiet and a nice place.

The hotel is OK, the bathroom is very small

Convenient location to Disney and plenty of restaurants and stores around. Room was clean and spacious. Has decent sized refrigerator and microwave plus a little kitchenette area but no dishes or other supplies are provided. TV is kind of small for a big room and the cabinet doors block part of the hall, but you're not there to watch TV anyway. Parking […] was fine, but fills up quick. Gym has decent cardio equipment but not much for weights. Nice pool area. Pizza Hut in the hotel, serves breakfast buffet in the morning. Not cheap but decent spread. Lees meer
