My fiance and I were stopping in Seattle for one night before on to a wedding in Portland, OR. Knowing we weren't spending that much time in the room, we wanted something affordable. Was worried about getting a 'mediocre' hotel; but was very pleasantly suprised!! The room was great, bed was comfortable, even had a fridge and a patio!! Newly remodeled, […] and good location-was able to walk to the fish market and then back up to the space needle in one afternoon. Parking not a problem. Liked it so much we decided to come back and stay before our return flight. The staff went above and beyond to help; calling cab at night, booking additional room, and early check ins. This was a better hotel stay than some experiences I've had with 5 star hotels!! Very recommended! Lees meer

The lack of draperies to block light from the office building on the east was a problem. It was daylight all night. The lack of lighting in the room made reading and make-up difficult.

Good value hotel, nice staff and good rooms. I would stay there again.

Continental breakfast was top notch! Beds were soooo comfy. clean bathrooms with lots of towels.

The neighborhood may seem a little rundown, but the hotel has been mostly renovated. They're still working on the lobby & its going to be gorgeous. Our room was renovated beautifully & very comfortable. This is close to the Space Needle & has free parking plus breakfast so it's wonderful for a weekend in Seattle.

I'll be it that the hotel is under renos, however the rooms were fully complete and the marble floors in the bathroom were ice cold and the condenstation was terrible. The breakfast was second rate to say the least. At what we paid per night I would expect more, even in a location like this. It was close to a trolley that took you right Downtown, as […] well as was withing walking distance to the Seattle Center, we had two little ones in tow and all the walks to transit or meals were doable. Hotel was OK and at the time we stayed there they rebuilt the lobby and the surrounding rooms. Also they had workers in the hotel, I think it's possible to clean the tables and sometimes the floor in the breakfast room - the cleanliness there was not so good (in comparison to the room and to other hotels). The rest was good.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights - great location, a few minutes walk to the Space Needle and the EMP, 5-10 mins to the centre of town. The hotel lobby was undergoing some serious renovations when we were there which made it a bit noisy at check in but no major inconvenience as we were out for most of the 2 days. In all of my travels I have never met a more friendly and accomodating staff. They helped us find our way around, brought cots to our room late at night, and even helped us store our bags the next day. The rooms were extremely clean and the beds and bedding were very comfortable. We also had a balcony which was an added bonus. Out of necessity for an immigration physical I went to Seattle recently and stayed at the La Quinta, the main lobby is undergoing remodeling but that did not daunt the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. The room was very comfortable and clean. My Canadian husband drove down to meet me there so we could spend a few days in addition to me having the […] physical. Considering that I got lost after arriving in Seattle so called La Quinta for directions (I'm a country lady, all those tall buildings and one way streets are overwhelming to someone like me) the young man handling the front counter of the La Quinta was kind enough to take the time to direct me to the hotel. If one is into seeing the sights the La Quinta is located quite near the Space Needle among other things. All in all our stay was very pleasant and we would stay there again, if nothing else to see what the main lobby is like when finished. Everything meet our expectations. The Main lobby and area was under construction when we were there so we look forward to seeing the New Lobby area. Staff were very nice and helpful

Avoid at all cost. Under complete renovation. Very noisy and a complete mess. Rooms are nice, hallways are awful. Breakfast buffet was the same hot entree for 7 days. No parking available on 5 days although included for free- management didn't care at all...what a disaster. Wait until the construction is over.

This is clearly a good hotel in a very convenient location. On my particular visit, the hotel lobby areas were being remodeled extensively, so staff was working at a a disadvantage. Parking was limited as a consequence. The staff were a bit distracted, and weren't quite sure how to accommodate my needs. The uppper levels have all been redone and the room I had (a suite) was fantastic. The main level is currently under construction with major rennovation going on. Parking and internet access is free though the internet connectivity is very slow even with a strong connection.

Walking distance to Pike Place Market and the Space Needle/EMP. Room was LOVELY! Spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh waffles and breakfast burritos! They have soft cookies in the lobby at night and the staff were super friendly! Will definitely be staying here again!

This is a good hotel, it is within 1-2 miles of most of the majors attractions including the must see Space Needle, Pike Place Market, and various shows and museums. Recently renovated (still working of the lobby) very comfortable room, very nicely up dated. The bed and many pillows were so comfortable. The microwave popcorn was an unexpected surprise. The double headed shower was fabulous. Staff very very friendly and helpful. Although a little isolated it is only a short walk to anywhere.

Hotel is in good location for accessibility to downtown and Space needle. Going through renovation, so lobby and downstairs was not inviting. Breakfast was basic, room large and comfortable

This was a great hotel with very friendly service! I only marked down the condition because they were remodeling when we were there. The rooms were just redone and look great! The park across the street is kinda sketchy after dark but overall not too bad. Great hotel and great location! Would definitely stay again!

After living in hotels for two weeks, this was the best we had. The rooms where well laid out, the showers had great pressure, the breakfast were good, if you like carbs and sugar then they are up your street. The only complaint I had was their wireless. In a city like Seattle to have wireless that cannot even do video on Skype is pathetic. And the […] worst part is you had to continually login every hour, and then when you surfed you have endless adverts at the top. We resorted to visiting the local coffee houses which offered free wireless rather than put up with the shoddy wireless. If it was not for that I would have given it 5 out of 5. Lees meer

Hotel is undergoing renovations right now so a lot of construction projects going on in the middle of the hotel. The gal that checked us in was very friendly and helpul and helped us and several other with calling cabs, suggesting resturants ect. Rom was very nice, especially for the price and conviently located near several tourist activities.

We only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly, and even let us park our car there after check out so we could go sight seeing which was HUGE, parking is at a premium. They were in the middle of renovating the lobby area or I would give the condition of the overall hotel a better rating. The room itself was great, but the neighborhood is kind […] of industrial (so a little loud). The location is perfect, it is close enough to walk to the space needle, science museum, music museum, and downtown. Overall great experience and would stay again. Ps. .. a word about the breakfast, don't expect too much, but it is edible. Stay away from the biscuits and gravy and you will be just fine. ;-) Lees meer

Across the street from MAX train, easy access to Lloyd Center, Starbucks and Walgreens. I-5 and 84 are close by.

Located within walking distance of Space Needle and shopping. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The lobby, breakfast room, and some hallways were being remodeled. The good news was that the rooms was done with the remodel! Everything was new and the bed was the MOST COMFORTABLE I have ever slept in! Wish I could have stayed there longer!

What can you say, besides being moderately priced it was a little above average. Very comfortable beds.

Hotel is undergoing renovations but rooms have all been completed and only thing remaining is the lobby. We booked a 2 room suite and it was realy nice. Spacious living room, microwave, bar fridge, seperate flat panel TV in the living room and bedroom. Beds are first quality and very comfortable. For the price we paid the hotel was a good value. All of the rooms and bathrooms had been recently redone and were very tastefully decorated. The shower was fabulous. The free parking and breakfast were a bonus for the downtown Seattle area. The common areas were under construction while we were there. I've been coming to Seattle for almost two years now and have stayed here a number of times. They seem to be renovating the entire hotel and are now on the lobby. The rooms are complete so they are nice. Overall, a good hotel.

I enjoyed my stay, was able to walk to The Jazz Alley for some great music.

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but La Quinta Inn and Suites Seattle Downtown just about blew me away. The suite was super modern and super comfortable. Well situated for shops and sights to see. Very pleasant staff, helpful as well. The breakfast was good and the rooms very comfortable.

We had a great experience. In addition to receiving our dog in a friendly fashion, there was a park very close by for walks and enjoyment. Great location, central to all we needed and friendly staff.

Pleasantly surprised with the upgrades to our room. Large king size bed, flat screen TV, modern d furniture and large desk, also free wireless internet. Free hotel parking a bonus as the hotel is within easy walking distance of downtown and the waterfront. (10 blocks or so). Downtown parking can be expensive in Seattle. We were late for breakfast however […] the staff graciously offered us any food item we wanted in the breakfast room. Nice to have protein in the morning and not just sugary items. This was the only reasonably priced hotel I found in the Seattle downtown with good reviews. I was happy to find they were well earned! About a 15 minute walk to Pike Place and probably less to the Needle, though we didn't spend any time out that way. There is a Whole Foods behind the hotel (on Denny?) that makes a food option if you don't feel like […] walking elsewhere. Lees meer
