Het motel is schoon en netjes, met een prima bed. Het personeel is vriendelijk en je kan er gemakkelijk parkeren. Evt. minpunt is dat er geen bureau op de kamer is (wel een kast met tv) en dat de ontbijtruimte vrij klein is en daarom druk kan zijn.

Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 4 aug, 2012Prima hotel net buiten de kust, maar er vlak bij met voldoende voorzieningen.Op het hotel is weinig aan te merken, wel ligt ook dit langs de drukke weg en is ook dit hotel als vele andere hotels in Amerika gehorig en matig van bouw, maar het is goed te doen voor een of twee nachten. Wij hebben wel voor twee kamers gekozen, zo duur was dit ook weer niet, ook al zou je met 4 personen op een kamer kunnen, maar we vinden daarvoor de kamers en bedden te klein. Vlak bij een mooi stuk kust en achterland waardoor veel binnen je bereik ligt

The Comfort Inn was within walking distance of a major shopping center and Old Town Monterey and Fisherman's Wharf. You have to drive to get to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. Rooms a little small, but clean. King room was the best ....had a shower and tub..stayed in a Queen room for 1 night and there was no bathtub, only shower. Breakfast was fabulous, great selection, love the waffles. Mall right across the street with movie theatre, Macys, Marble Slab and lots of other shops and eating places. We love this place! Charming single-level rooms, with modern furnishings. We thought we were at a five star hotel. Location is on Munras/Cass. We enjoy going to the waterfront/wharf, and thought it might be too far. But, we decided to walk to the waterfront(about 1.5 miles). There are many shops and eateries along the downhill route(Munras>Cass> Alvarado>waterfront). […] Being middle-aged and with arthritis, the walk was easy...but might want to take cab back to hotel($15-20 from wharf), as it is a mild uphill walk. Loved the continental brkfast. My wife and I stayed here prior to spending the day on a whale watching trip. We found the room clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff helpful. It is nothing fancy but for the price it were pleased. If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place but for a room for a day or two, it is great. "Very comfortable and relaxing"
The hotel was ideally located and our room faced down a sloping forest filled hill that was very nice looking and peaceful. Rooms were certainly large enough for the three of us and very clean as well. Bldgs were in pretty good shape (a little traction tape coming off steps but nothing major. My family and I visit Monterey once or twice a year and we've stayed at many of the hotels on this street, Munras. This has been the BEST one yet!!
