The hotel is not that bad. But if you want internet go somewhere els. For 24 hour they want $18. The housekeeper on my floor was very lazy. Bad cleaning and forget essentials like toiletpaper and soap. When you want to ask him something you find him sleeping in another room.

Zeer fijn hotel en een aangename afwisseling met de drukte van de binnenstad. Het personeel is vriendelijk, het eten prima en ze hebben een heerlijk zwembad. Op loopafstand ligt de Spa Botanica voor de ultime spa-ervaring.

Dit hotel is vrij nieuw en ligt op 10 minuten lopen van een MRT station. Wij waren gevlucht uit een oud hotel in de binnenstad en vonden dit een verademing. Redelijk ruime kamers en een keurige badkamer voor een prijs die je in de het centrum voor een 2-sterrenhotel betaald. Ligt ook in een rustige wijk. Vervoer naar alle highlights van Singapore is geen probleem. MRT Orchard is slechts 2 haltes. Bovendien zijn taxi's in Singapore goedkoop en overal beschikbaar(als het niet regent)

Ligging.
Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay ligt in Singapore River in Singapore, dicht bij Liang Court, Raffles City en Boot Quay. In de buurt liggen ook Esplanade Theaters en Raffles Place.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay heeft een healthclub, een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. In alle openbare ruimtes kan je tegen betaling de draadloze internetverbinding gebruiken. Dit hotel met een groen/duurzaam beleid heeft een restaurant. Dit hotel biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals 3 restaurants plus een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, zakelijke diensten en hulp bij excursies regelen. "great location and nice rooms"
perfect location, 15 minutes away from everything, very clean and comfortable room. Highly recommendable only down side is construction near by but barely hear it,also you can hear the night club sometimes. If ur 60 and above this hotel maybe not for you other then that GREAT HOTEL!!

The location is great next to Clarke Quay. A pretty basic Novotel with minimalist decor. Although I expect to pay for internet access at a mid to higher end business hotel, having to pay US$24 per day for internet access seems excessive, almost abusive. We stayed here in march and had a great time. We got our room upgraded due to some errors with our payment and got a great room overlooking Clark Quay. Lots of space, big bed and a really nice bath room. Also clean, which is most important in my opinion. The tv could have had a better variety of channels, it was mostly news channels - but it was ok. Great Location and staff very helpfull, only drawback is there is construction next to the hotel which is quite noisy. We had to change rooms, but the hotel staff were very accommodating. Nice hotel, clean, modern. 10 min walk from MRT. Next to the Singapore river, and Clarke quay with cafees and restaurants along the river. Shopping mall practically in the hotel. Located in the Clark Quay area, it is surrounded by a lot of bars and eating establishments (of the mid-to-high priced kind). There are two shopping malls, Liang Court and Central which has a decent food court each for cheap eats. "An amazingly good hotel for a leisure holiday"
Apart from good hotel service and nice rooms what makes this an instant choice for travelers on a vacation is the premium neighbourhood with nightlife... Very close to everything, nice pool for kids (although no kids pool so better be able to swim). Nice service and breakfast. First stayed for one night but decided to continue for total of 5 nights. Location was great. Walking distance to Central@ shopping mall and MRT ( Clarke quay). Walking distance ti boay quay and clash quay where lots of nice western and seafood restaurants located. Nice view and room is spacious and comfy. Unfortunately, when I saw 5 sets of Mac being set at the corner then I instantly had hunch that the room was not equipped […] with free wifi. It was my mistake that I didn't check throughly on their facilities. 1 hr rate was S$10, 3 hrs was 30 and whole day usage was S$50. Room without free Internet they can't be called business hotel. "Great location, comfortable, and great value"
Perfect location near MRT and next to Clarke Quay. Hotel is as clean and comfortable as you'll find in Singapore for that price. Tremendous value. In-room internet charges are overpriced, but free macs give you internet in the lobby. Pool is nice, fitness center small but adequate.

Great position, only a couple of minutes to the MRT so easy to get to and from airport as well as every sight in Singapore. Located in a bustling area, whilst surrounding area is priced for the tourist its only one stop on the MRT to Chinatown where its a fraction of the price. "Disappointed"
This was the second time we had stayed at the hotel. The location is excellent but we there is always renovations going on and banging and drilling drives you crazy. Because of the drilling, both Jan 2011 and Jan 2012 we were upgraded to the executive floors but the drilling was so loud. In 2010 they gave us the privileges of the Exec floor, but this […] year did not so there was no point in the upgrading us. When we booked they did not advise renovations were still going on. Executive room describing as a four people was at the end for 2, when we said it wasn't what we bought their first proposal was to put 2 mattresses on the floor but the bed left was a single one, in complement on that the sofa was smelling bad as somebody having had vomited on it....so after a long strong talk we got a junior suite but only for 2 nights […] as they were going to start the refurbishment of it in 2 days, so the room was. not set to receive 4 people and they had to put one matttess on the floor and the overall quality of the room was quite bad explaining the refurbishment....During this strong bargaining, the people were quite rude, when I have asked for compensation they said "do I have any choice?" and we could see that she was not so happy to offer free breakfast to all of us during our stay which is a very poor compensation! So in conclusion, bad service, hotel comfort is so so, breakfast is so so too, the only interest of this place is the location, all the rest is quite bad! One more thing for hotels.com, please don't sell this executive room for 4 people, none of them are, you have only two settings, 1 single + 1 king bed or two singles beds! Lees meer

"Great for families"
Novotel is great for families - they allowed up to 2 single beds besides the king sized bed in our room, so it was very comfortable for my family of 4. Also, it has a games console area with X Box - a hit with my 2 boys!

"Unless you like clubbing, look elsewhere"
Everything is great about this hotel except one thing, it's located above several all night clubs. Even on the 19th floor we could hear the "boom, boom, ba-boom" until dawn. I don't know what they can do to rectify that. If you stay here, bring earplugs or ask for a room looking toward the river.

The 4-star rating is not adequate for this hotel. Although the location is excellent for a short stay, the room quality is subpar. Amenities are minimal, room is not very clean, there is a smell in the hallways, bed is not comfortable. Buffet offered for meals is very poor by Asian standards.

"Nice business hotel"
Nice and neat hotel, but everything cost extra! Internet was charged per day and you couldn't choose less than that (e.g. 1 hour). Breakfast was also quite pricey.

My business trip was originally for 4 days that extended to 5. No problem at all extending at last moment and staying in the same room. Breakfast buffet was very good and was open early. WIth Chinatown ten minutes away, and surrounded by bars and restaurants along the Singapore river, this hotel is in a great location. The staff were friendly and efficient and the room was good, with excellent views of the City.

The hotel itself turned out to be a bit disappointing: - Having to take two elevators to go to your room is a nonsense, unless you are Donald Trump and you live in the Penthouse of the high rise that bears your name... - the TV was the smallest […] I have seen in any hotel in the last 3-4 years, let alone an alledged 4* hotel. - The shower requires that you are either 5 feet tall, or you bend backwards so much you break your back, in order to get some wated on your hair... - I have found much nicer breakfast buffet in remote China... My second visit to the hotel in the last two weeks. Stayed for one week this time with no major issues. Great Location, Great View, Great Price. I would recommend the hotel for the view alone! Unless you like to get up early be sure to use your DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. The staff is very prompt for room clean up. Other than that, great stay.

"nice hotel - shame about some unhelpful staff"
Nice hotel, clean and good location with restuarants and bars nearby in Clarke Quay. The reception staff were a mixture of helpful or very unhelpful which tended to spoil the stay. Restuarant lacks imagination - it's buffet or buffet or buffet and you need to be there with ample time else the waiters take great pleasure in reminding you of the time […] they close. Overall - good; would be better if they can address the helpfulness of the staff and had some good things on the menu - especially for families who don't necessarily want to be out with children every night Lees meer

Great Location, Great View, and nice looking hotel. I would recommend the hotel for that alone! Other than that, my A/C did not work and asking maintenance to repair did not resolve the problem and no offer for new room. the location was in the clarke quay which is very convinient for foreigners who likes exciting spots (such as bar and club) . also, it is very close to central place. "Novotel Clark Quay - good location but overpriced"
I stayed at the Novotel for a business trip for 10 days. It's a good location and staff are really friendly and nice. However I felt the additional charges for internet and breakfast were excessive ($30 each per day) and meant you felt forced to spend $50 a day for access to the Premier Lounge, which included internet and breakfast. On top of the high […] room rate this meant the stay was expensive, and the room whilst adequate was a bit tired. The hotel is also quite noisy at night due to all the surrounding nightclubs. Having stayed at the Marina Bay Sands which only charges $100 per week for internet and includes breakfast in its rate, the Novotel felt over-priced. Lees meer

"Centrally located"
Novotel is centrally located in Clarke quay. The Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel itself quiet well done and the MRT station is nearby so it makes it easy to reach other places in Singapore. Our room had a majestic view of the Singapore bay and Marina Sands.
"The hotel is very convenient to stay"
Hotel service is great from security up to the Managers they're very accomodating and well trained . Rooms are very clean especially comfort rooms . Next time i"ll travel i will choose the same Hotel " Novotel " . We're very satisfied with our stay especially my kids. :)

"Disappointed"
I had a pretty good impression for Novotel before this stay. It however was pretty disappointed. The room was a bit old. The TV was very small (around 21" only) and selection of channels was so limited. Staff was nice but was not as proactive as expected. Under the same room rate, there were many other better choices.

Good: convenient for late night dining/drinking. Solid hotel, good facilities, good staff, nice room. Not so good: could use some renovation. Had infestation of tiny ants in bathroom. Takes time to get in and out, due to two elevator system. Overall, a good place to stay, convenient to the city and river attractions, MRT is near. I was on a premium […] floor, 23, so had a good view and maybe nicer room. They need to work a bit on the bath, but was a good room.
