Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.
Ligging.
Hilton New York is een op zaken ingestelde accommodatie in het centrum van New York. dit hotel ligt op loopafstand van Museum van moderne Kunst, Rockefeller Center en Radio City Music Hall. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Columbus Circle en Times Square.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Hilton New York heeft een healthclub, een sauna en een fitnesscentrum. In openbare ruimtes is draadloos internet of internet via een hogesnelheidskabel (tegen betaling) beschikbaar.De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze met 4 sterren-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een vergader-/conferentieruimte. Dit hotel heeft 2 restaurants. Daarnaast is er ook een bar/lounge. Parkeerruimte is (tegen betaling)beschikbaar, maar beperkt.Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/kaartjes, een huwelijksservice en evenementencatering regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een spaservice, een conciërgebalie en meertalig personeel. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.
Hotelkamers.
Hilton New York heeft 1981 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluisje in de kamer. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel, een videogameconsole en films tegen betaling. Elke accommodatie beschikt over een bureau, een gratis krant en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling gebruikmaken van internet (draadloos of via de kabel) op de kamer. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met luxe beddengoed. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een haardroger en gratis toiletartikelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere koffie/theevoorzieningen en een strijkplank/strijkijzer. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals een koelkast, een turndownservice en massagebehandelingen op de kamer. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. In Hilton New York mag niet op de kamers worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het beleid van het hotel kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.

Bridges Bar - Manhattan's 7 bridges provide the theme for this lobby bar, with murals of bridges on the walls. Guests sip classic cocktails at the oversized bar, in banquettes, or in small clusters of upholstered chairs. Open from early evening to late evening.
Lobby Lounge - With seating ranging from bar stools to overstuffed couches, this expansive lounge serves beer, wine, cocktails, and light fare. Open from late morning to late evening.
In-room dining - Available during limited hours.
Let off some steam in Hilton's 8,000-square-foot fitness center (surcharge). Accessible 24 hours by room key, the skylit facility is equipped with free weights and strength-training and cardio machines. Need a little guidance? Personal training, yoga, and Pilates are available for an additional charge. Soothe sore muscles in the sauna, and then enjoy a massage in the fitness center or in the comfort of your guestroom.

De West Coast heeft dan wel Hollywood; maar de lampen van Broadway schijnen net zo helder en vele televisieacteurs komen naar de Great White Way om aan hun reputatie te werken. Tot de bezienswaardigheden in de regio behoren Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall en het Museum of Modern Art. De prachtige St. Patrick's Cathedral neemt een blok tussen Fifth en 50th in beslag. Op het ooit verwaarloosde Times Square vind je nu ABC, MTV en NASDAQ.

"zeer centraal gelegen"
ik ken dit hotel sinds vele jaren. Altijd weer aangenaam er terug te komen. Vlak bij het central park en de MOMA ligt op 100 meter afstand. Zeer aanteraden.

Geen negatieve ervaringen hoor, maar je verwacht van het Hilton een super verblijf, en dat was het niet, maar er was ook absoluut niks te klagen.

Van Hilton iets meer verwacht, Hotel is OK, maar niet super. Personeel is wel bijzonder vriendelijk en voorkomend. Ligging in centraal NY is perfect (als je daar wilt zijn). Continental breakfast is OK

The room was appropriate and generally comfortable, with large-size drawers for personal items, and met expectations except the web site indicates that coffee and tea is available in the room. No more. The desk indicated that the hotel was in the process of removing all the coffee-tea makers from rooms. The hotel does not have a restaurant open to serve […] dinner and the Starbuck's Cafe attached stops serving at 5:30. The bar was open but not adequate for a guest wishing to have dinner. One is told to go to 7th Street to find a restaurant in the evening. There is room service, but I think guests expect to be able to go to a restaurant in the hotel. Lees meer

Very satisfied ... w/4 people booked for one room, could have used more towels & glasses. Otherwise, will definitely stay there again!

The hotel is old, the rooms need updating, the towels need a good washing, and it is overpriced but you can't beat the location. It's right in the heart of Manhattan where all the action is.

I loved this hotel. The location was perfect, the rooms were large (for NY) and clean, and the service was phenominal. I read reviews about the elevators being slow, but we had no trouble with that at all. My girlfriends and I stayed there for a mini-reunion/girls-trip and we LOVED the bartenders in the hotel bar. The room was a lot smaller this time compared to our last stay. We we near the service elevator and could hear it all night long!!! There was also tooth paste on the wall. But over all it was fine.
Very nice for a weekend stay. Clean room. Wasn't impressed with iron and ironing board which was needed after my flight.

Location was great. Hotel was clean and friendly. Beds were pretty narrow making it uncomfortable sharing a bed with another person. Hotel restaurant was very expensive...$34 per person for a buffet breakfast. We ended up getting breakfast at the Deli & Grill across the street from the hotel.

Hotel worked beautifully for our stay - close to everything in Midtown and Subway stops. Great price due to the fact that the hotel is quite dated in decor...that said, it was a wonderful value. I would definitely stay there again. Try the White Martini in the downstairs bar - delicious.

Awesome family getaway! Only rated it 4 stars because I have never been to a 5 star hotel and I imagine they do something amazing that I don't even know about.

This was my first time in New York and I had a wonderful time. The Hilton hotel is located right in the heart of Manhattan. I had a wonderful time and was very pleased with the hotel.

The Hilton has a good reputation. Hotel is centrally located to many venues-restaurants, museum, historical sites and office. Was able to mix some business with family vacation. Staff is very professional, helpful and nice.

Lovely Hotel only fault it was a family room with four people with only three towels supplied.
Room was very, very small. Smallest room I've ever stayed in anywhere.

Great location, close to many must see sights. Hotel itself is of average standard compared to others from same chain. Room was clean, however, toilets/restrooms in public areas (ground up to 5th floor) were invariably in a disgusting situation.

Just spend three days in this hotel with the four of us (two kids, 8 and 10). Had a room with two queen beds. For the four of us it was just fine, although queen beds are always a little to small for a family with two kids. But that has little to do with the hotel, more with our budget :). We had breakfast in the Deli around the corner and did almost […] everything walking. The hotel is very central to a lot of nice things: Times Square, 5th ave, Central park. We even walked to the Empire State (get the express pass: it saves time!). For us, New York is a city where you don't spend time in the hotel, so we didn't get a lot of experience with it: beds and room are good/great; staff is friendly, doormen are very friendly and give good advice. I've already booked the same hotel for july before we did the trip last week and after this experience, we're glad to stay in the same hotel! Lees meer
"Really nice"
I've stayed in quite a lot of hotels in New York. This stay was for one night with a girlfriend. It was the least expensive hotel I could find with two Queen beds. I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby was huge and beautiful, the room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were very nice, I asked for late check out and they gave it to me for free […] until 4pm. Great location, well-maintained hotel, walking distance to Times Square, Central Park, Broadway theaters, etc. Good taxi options, and nearby subway station. "Good hotel in an excellent location in Manhatten"
I would have give this hotel a perfect rating but they forgot or neglected to clean our room on one occasion. Other than that it is a great hote in an excellent location. The staff is friendly and they work hard to keep you happy. Room service was good and the food was very good.

Everything was good except when we arrived dishes from the prior occupant of the room was still there when we checked out.

Excellent location for us to see most of the city by foot. Saved $$$$ in cab fares. Most staff were very friendly, always acknowledging you as they walked by. Don't use the Theatre /Tours ticketing desk in the lobby. The two women there were very rude and pushy. "Hilton Hotel Avenue of the Americas New York"
We spent one night at the Hilton in Avenue of the Americas recently. Overall, we were very happy with the experience. Staff were helpful and efficient. It's a busy place and this was evident when trying to get an elevator during the morning rush. Positives - good value, nice room, central location, good and helpful staff. "ok, but inadequate"
The hotel was not well maintained. The door had a broken security bolt, so that didn't make us feel comfortable. There was a giant red stain in the middle of the carpeting - didn't like that. Decor is not very attractive, including bed covers. There is no parking assistance for the car or none was made available to us at any cost. Overall it wasn't […] horrible, but also not memorable. We came for a weekend trip and this hotel may seem, on a map, a little off the beaten path, in terms of Time Square - but it is VERY CLOSE. I had concerns when we booked, because we wanted to be close to 5th Ave, the Rock, Times Square...etc. This place is seconds from 5th Ave and a couple of minutes from Times Square but far enough away that you don't […] have to deal with as much of the crowds and chaos of that area. We got a discounted rate through a travel website - and the bang for our buck was great!
