Een laagdrempelig, gezellig motel. Goede service en voorzieningen en dicht bij de airport. Het welkomstglaasje champagne was een leuke verrassing. Een simpel ontbijt is inbegrepen en voor weinig geld uit te breiden. Gratis shuttle naar de airport, goede parkeervoorziening op eigen terrein. Zelfs een auto huren kan ter plekke. Zeker aan te bevelen.
Ligging.
Hilton Pasadena bevindt zich in het centrum van Pasadena, dicht bij Pacific Asia Museum, Norton Simon Museum en Pasadena Museum of California Art. In de ruime omgeving liggen ook Rose Bowl en California Institute of Technology.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Hilton Pasadena heeft een buitenzwembad en een fitnesscentrum. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 3,5-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en audiovisuele apparatuur. Dit hotel voor zaken biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant, een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, een cateringdienst voor evenementen en zakelijke diensten regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een conciërgebalie, meertalig personeel en gratis kranten in de lobby. Parkeren op locatie is mogelijk tegen betaling.
Hotelkamers.
Hilton Pasadena heeft 296 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en een gratis weekkrant. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met premium beddengoed. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via kabel/satelliet, een videogameconsole en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een strijkplank/strijkijzer en een klokradio. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals een koelkast, hypoallergeen beddengoed en extra handdoeken/beddengoed. Een turndownservice wordt elke avond aangeboden terwijl een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar is.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

Pasadena ziet elk nieuwjaar het leven door een roze bril. In deze stad wordt het jaarlijkse Tournament of Roses Parade gehouden, net als het college-voetbalkampioenschap Rose Bowl Game. In Pasadena vind je ook de The Huntington Library, de Art Collections en de Botanical Gardens. Naast de originele Gutenberg-bijbel en de Canterbury Tales staat het instituut in aanzien vanwege de 120 are aan tuinen.

Het was voor ons de eerste keer dat we in een Hilton Hotel verbleven. We dachten dat dit niet aan ons besteed zou zijn wegens de prijs. Doch buiten alle verwachtingen om was de prijs/kwaliteit één van de betere hotels (zoniet het beste) van onze 3 weken durende vakantie, waarvan er slechts voor 5 dagen op voorhand geboekt was. Hotel was nice, people working at the desk were very nice. Didn't care for the (high) price for parking. Room was nice, except there were a little trash behind the dresser.

Good hotel,very well located and goos service. Only problem was being located in a room next to an outside and noisy generator- in ahotel that was not full. We were in Romm 302
"Close to Pasadena business district"
Paying for Internet access and parking just does not make sense any more - if you are catering to the business community you have to understand that it is as essential as a clean comfortable bed!
"Must love dogs"
The hotel is lovery, and the staff is very polite. However, a $75.00 fee for dogs is a bit steep, especially for a one night stay.
This hotel was definately subpar for a Hilton. We had difficulties getting a roll-a-way bed, it took four hours and 3 phone calls to finally have one delivered to our room. Our room was next to the elevators and was noisy all night long. The friendliness and helpfullness of the staff left a lot to be desired. "Parking a joke"
This hotel was good but they don't tell you about the $21 a day for valet parking or $18 a day for self parking. With no street parking, they kind of have you trapped. You shouldn't have to pay to park if you are paying to sleep there.

"Santa Anita Derby"
My girlfriend and I came in town to run the Santa Anita Derby 5K and attend the the horse races. The hotel staff was kind and welcoming. The immediate area was beautiful. Would recommend this hotel to anybody!

"Green"
In the bathroom was a list of how the hotel was saving resources. Oddly, the shower was way, way too forceful. Much water being wasted! We are pretty used to restricted water flow shower heads in California, and I was shocked that they were not in use at the Pasadena Hilton.

This hotel is close to old town pasadena which has many restaurants and beautiful architecture. The "complimentary" shuttle service is only free for a 2 mile radius. Do not plan on taking the shuttle from the airport or farther than 2 miles unless you want to pay more than you would for a taxi or other shuttle services. it so terrible this hotel. ii never go again. Maid came into the room twice without knok. so slow internet speed by charge ten dollar. vallet parking is 21 dollar. so unkind front desk.

The location is wonderful it sit close to nightclubs as well as bars which makes it easy to party and have a good time. While still remembering where the Hotel location is.

From the friendly and helpful valet service to the beautiful room and comfortable bed, this was a great stay and certainly a hotel I would visit again.

"not bad"
I stayed at this hotel while taking the bar exam in February. Very convenient to convention center and shops and appreciated the Starbucks in hotel. Was only peeved because they charge $9.95 a night for Internet access which is completely unreasonable. Other than that- the staff was pretty courteous and kind.

We enjoyed our short time there. The beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Close to shops, resturants, etc. - all within walking distance. Overall was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend to everyone. We are planning on coming back soon.

The standout here is the thoughtful and friendly staff, helpful without being obtrusive. The pool is heated and is surrounded by iconic Southern California palms. And the location is handy for Pasadena events (convention center is around the corner).

"Hilton Pasadena, CA"
I've had much better experiences at the Sheraton right around the block. My business in town called for me to extend my stay an extra night and I actually packed and moved to the Sheraton.
This hotel is kind of old. I don't like it that they charge $18 more for parking and $10 more for WIFI, but everything else was OK.
"Hilton Pasadena - great stay for Christmas"
I live in Orange County and needed a stay over place since I had gatherings in San Gabriel Valley on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I'm so glad I stayed at the Hilton rather than driving all the way back down to OC. Staff was extremely accommodating and hotel very nice and comfortable!

"Too noisy"
We arrived late in the evening and our room had adjoining rooms on each side, filled with people we did not know. The people were loud and we could clearly hear the conversations even with the tv on low. No late room service. Thank goodness for the Japanese delivery close by which the hotel does give info and will deliver a menu to your room.

"Nice hotel but expensive parking"
Everthing at this hotel was nice except the parking. Parking was expensive and you have to park on the upper levels making it very inconveniate for the hotel guests. The attached bank and office building have all the first floors of parking so prepare to go a long way and down stairs if you self park.

I have been a frequent guest at this hotel over the past 12 months but am considering a change. The service has significantly declined from the valet to the front desk to the bar/restaurant. It is as if some internal change has impacted the staff. The absence of smiles, the lost "can do" attitude, the general demeanor of people...however you wish to […] describe it...it is not good. The location is good and the rooms are adequate. There are several hotels in Pasadena that can claim these. I returned because the service staff had an outstanding attitude toward guests. "Hilton Pasedena- friendly staff"
We were visiting Caltech and decided to stay at the Hilton, It was one of the nicer Hiltons I've stayed at, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again should I need to visit Pasadena.
