It is close to the subway station to the city center. It has parking spaces and a pretty good neighbourhood where I felt save as a I traveled on my own. Next time I would stay there again.

Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 2 feb, 2013Dit hotel is ongetwijfeld een van de beste, zo niet de beste, van alle hotels waar ik ooit in verbleef. Het is verbonden aan het Rennaissance Inn en deelt daarmee zwembad en fitness. In het Residence inn zijn de kamers bestemd voor wat langer verblijf incl. keuken met afwasser. In het zusterhotel zijn de kamers wat kleiner, maar erg smaakvol en ruim. In Residence is de kamer ( suite!) top met uitstekend groot bed en alle denkbare zaken. Het hotel is door de week nogal prijzig, maar in het weekend is het zeer betaalbaar. De ligging met een gratis shuttle naar Ronald Reagan Airport en naar winkels en restaurants is zeer comfortabel. Parkeren kost usd 25 per 24 uur, maar in het weekend kun je de auto ook gewoon op straat, gratis, parkeren. Ontbijt is geweldig.

Alleen de ontbijtruimte is zeer ontoereikend voor de vele gasten. Het was bijna dringen en wachten op een vrije plek, mede door het vroege eindtijdstip 09.30 am van de ontbijtsessie.

The hotel is located a couple blocks from the White House, and is convenient to Metro stations. The cleanliness of the room was questionable and the bath towels were stained from previous use. The towels were also about as soft as sandpaper or cardboard. The shower head leaked at the wall and would run down the inside of the shower in a steady stream […] whenever the water was on. The room was missing an ottoman and bath robes as were described online. All in all it wasn't a bad stay, but it wasn't quite the normal Hilton quality that I'm used to. We had a great time visiting DC. The Capital is close to all the big DC tourist attractions. We were able to walk to take a short subway ride to get everywhere we needed to go, including to and from the airport. This is a venerable property in a fine location. It's showing weariness around the edges and could use a strong hand to instill top-notch customer service. My room had a stopped up toilet and engineering had several rooms ahead of me for calls on a Saturday afternoon at 4 pm. Staff seemed harried, but friendly. The gym has been contracted out and a […] fee is required and, like many higher-end chains, wi-fi is costly in the room, though free in the lobby. Great breakfast but otherwise mediocre food. "Nice rooms, noisy stay"
We enjoyed the location of the hotel. There was some banging and drilling that we heard throughout the day and it sounded like they were doing some renovations. Unfortunately we were all awakened at 3:30 AM when someone pulled the fire alarm. There was no fire but the alarms kept going off for the next hour and we had to go down 8 flights of stairs […] to learn it was a false alarm and could return to our rooms. The breakfast was very nice and the staff at the hotel seemed very pleasant. They were very helpful calling cabs and handling the luggage. I don't believe that we would stay there again however because of the noise and the issue with the fire alarms. The rooms are a little dated and my room had a tiny door into the bathroom and the toilet was wedged in with the shower stall in a very small space. The beds are excellent as always at Hiltons and the service is also excellent. The breakfast buffet is also very nice but somewhat pricey. There […] are lots of good restaurants near by and it two metro line stations a couple blocks away. It is also only about 4 blocks from the white house. "close to the capital"
The hotel has a great location, but the bathroom toilet seat had a chip on it so it look like there was something on the seat. The maids need to add more towels to the room when cleaning. But overall it was a pleasant stay and the bell hop, doormen and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area.Gecontroleerde Hotels.com gastenbeoordeling

"Most pleasant experience"

"Not worth the price."
Nice hotel. For what they charge they should provide free Internet in the room. For this reason alone, I will not be back. Two lights burned out the whole time I was there. Love the makeup mirror. TV controller and radio/alarm hard to figure out. Showerhead leaked and water ran down the wall. Room service prices way too high. House wine prices too […] high. "Great location for a great price"
The hotel was very nice and in such a great location if you want to see any of Capital Hill without having to worry about driving around. A nice 2 block walk to the White House and nice and clean. Would recommend.Gecontroleerde Hotels.com gastenbeoordeling
