Bij aankomst werden we zeer vriendelijk ontvangen, alles werd uitgelegd, ook de bezienswaardigheden etc. we hadden het appartement op 5e verdieping, alleen te bereiken via (smalle) trap. Eenmaal boven was alles wat je nodig hebt aanwezig, geen bad.. vanaf het (kleine) balkon heb je zicht op de zee, op 100m . Op de zesde verdieping bevind zich het dakterras met 2 wasmachines en drogers en enkele ligbedden. complex ligt in rustige buurt, met bushalte/metrostation op loopafstand,prima om de stad te verkennen!!

Het hotel ligt naast een snelweg en ondanks de dubbele beglazing heb hoor je het wel. In ieder geval aan de snelwegzijde van het hotel kan je niet naar buiten kijken. Gordijnen kunnen niet echt open. Kamer was netjes en schoon. Elke dag werden de handdoeken verschoond en het bed opgemaakt. Receptie was vriendelijk. Ontbijt en diner is dit niet echt een locatie voor. Het hotel heeft een eigen restaurant, maar je kan eten bij het restaurant wat aan het gebouw vast zit. Heb hier geen hoge verwachtingen van het is een soort van truckers-maaltijden restaurant. Voor één nacht is het goed te doen. Ik was met de trein. Het is zo'n 15 min lopen vanaf het station. Goed te doen als je fit bent. De route naar het hotel moet je even leren kennen.

metro station dicht bij, maar met ze 4e een taxi even duur als de metro. de kamer en badkamer waren schoon en strak ingericht. ontbijt was goed. we komen zeker terug.
Ligging.
Eurostars Cristal Palace ligt in het centrum van Barcelona, op loopafstand van Casa Lleó-Morera, Casa Batlló en Plaça de Catalunya. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Casa Mila en Palau de la Música Catalana.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in Barcelona biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Draadloos internet (via een hogesnelheidskabel) is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Eurostars Cristal Palace heeft 148 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluisje op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via satelliet en betaalfilms. Gasten hebben gratis (draadloos) breedband internet op de kamer. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een handdouche, kamerjassen, een bidet en een haardroger. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een gratis krant en openslaande ramen. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals een strijkplank/strijkijzer, hypo-allergeen beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een turndownservice is elke avond beschikbaar en een huishoudservice dagelijks.

De buitenwijk Eixample is tussen 1860 en 1920 opgericht en bevat de mooiste modernistische gebouwen van de stad. De Passeig de Gràcia is de belangrijkste slagader en de brede trottoirs staan vol designerwinkels en chique cafés. Bovendien vind je er twee van Gaudí's sprookjesachtige meesterwerken, het Casa Batlló en La Pedrera, plus vele andere architectonische juweeltjes. De onbetwiste ster van Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, de beroemde, onvoltooide en emblematische kerk van Gaudí.

Room was extremely clean and spacious. Check in was quick and uneventful. The front desk staff was very helpful and they spoke English. I took the bus from the airport and had no problem finding the hotel which was about 4 blocks away. The metro is two block about away. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. "Good Location, but small dark rooms"
This hotel is within a easy walk from Placa Catalunya and the Aerobus stop, making the location unbeatable. Metro and bus stops are even closer. But rooms are small and dark, no view of anything.

"Technology Challenged"
Stayed here on business and wi-fi was a key requirement. If you want wi-fi here, it is hit and miss. I could not get wi-fi in the room. As well, my telephone couldn't dial international (even though they said it could) and the TV didn't work. Room and location were great though.

My door was hard to open and I had to keep getting assistance from reception and only when I insisted they changed the lock because it was known as a problem room. Another room for three meant that the three adults slept shoulder to shoulder and I had no toilet roll relacement. Close proximity to the Ramblas, shopping area, and good restaurants. Just a block away from Placa Catalunya. Very convenient to get around most places.

"Great location!!!"
The room was fine as it had all the basic ammenities (clean, free wifi, comfy beds). The shower head did not have very good water pressure and we did have some problems with the shower all together but the staff was very attentive and fixed the problem quickly. The great thing about the hotel is its location. Near to all the sites and great restaurants. […] Gracia was also very close and the surrounding area felt safer than Las Ramblas. Room not exceptional but very good, everything else excellent, especially front desk service. Parking lot within the hotel (for a fee), free wireless internet, fantastic location in downtown Barcelona.

This hotel is positioned in PRIME location of Barcelona on Diputacio street, that is just off Passeig De Gracia. You are a 2 minute walk away from two metros (both Passeig De Gracia) and about 5 minutes from Cataluyna Metro station. Passeig De Gracia, is the famous strip of shops including designer and high end. You are also within prime location of […] just jumping on the metro and seeing architecture, and a short walk to Guadi monuments. If I go to Barcelona, I will be staying in this hotel again. I travelled with a partner, and our flight was delayed, and rather than charging us 60 euro for the half day, the hotel manager didn't let us pay. So we gave him a tip instead! Fantastic. The hotel is recently refurbished, the staff speak perfect english, really comfortable bed! It certainly is a 4 star hotel and you get what you pay for. One tip, is to get out of the area and travel for great food, as Passeig De Gracia is more fusion food. Go to Ramblas Catalyuna and easy walk down to La Rambla. Even if you get the metro to certain spots, the monuments are a 5-10 minute walk TOPS. Hope you enjoy this review! Lees meer

all I have to say is totally awesome. No complaints what so ever right on main bus line for hop on and hop off tours. When I visit Barcelona again I will be staying here. Very Safe and Clean environment all of the things my wife were looking for.

Modern Hotel, great location, mostly helpful staff. Has restaurant but empty at lunch and dinner. Wireless internet makes good connection. Not many amenities, and cleanliness only average. All in all, a good value and recommended.

Firstly, this hotel is in an excellent location; a central location 1min walk to Las Ramblas and the Passeig de Gracia (train station - which is convienient for travel from airport, etc). The staff there were friendly, answered all questions and even gave good restaurant recomendations during our 5 day stay. Housekeeping cleaned our room even though […] we had the DND sign on our door, which can be seen as a positive or negative. The hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were comfotable and a decent size (our room had two comfotable twin beds), The hotel is by no means an elegant hotel and shows its age in some aspects, but overall, the experience was very positive. The price was good (at least in comparison to other hotels in the area) I believe the Eurostars Cristal Palace would be a solid choice for most travellers visiting Barcelona. Lees meer

I wouldn't rate this hotel as 4*, maybe 3 or 3* plus. The hotel did not provide an iron or iron facilities. No kettle (but I think that is common in Spain). Staff were not friendly either. Location is ok for families wishing to see the sites however. Easy to get to nearest underground station too. Rooms are ok, bathrooms a bit dated.

This hotel is situated in the heart of Barcelona. So it was very convenient to get around. The hotel was really clean and nice.
"Amazing location and staff!!"
After reading some mixed reviews of the hotel we weren't sure what to expect, but the Cristal Palace far exceeded our expectations! Our room was spacious, comfortable and had a decent view. The staff were extremely helpful, calling Iberian Airline daily to help find our missing luggage (highly recommend NOT flying with Iberia to Spain as it took 4 days […] to get our luggage...). One quick thing, the only bathroom amenity provided is soap, so bring shampoo. The location is amazing - situated directly between Casa Batllo and Plaza Catalunya and about 10 minute max walk from the start of Las Ramblas. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!! Lees meer

Gostamos muito . Localização excelente. Com fácil acesso a restaurantes e meios de transportes vários. As instalações agradáveis, e boa manutenção. E ótima recepção com tratamento inpecável aos clientes. O que melhor define nossa opinião, é que voltariamos a nos hospedar nele.

Kjempefint hotell med det vi synes måtte være den beste beliggenheten i forhold til det vi ønsket å oppleve på turen. Veldig sentralt. Turistbussene har stopp omtrent rett utenfor hotellet, og kun fem minutters gange ned til Placa de Catalunya og La Rambla. "Hôtel Cristal Eurostars proche de toutes commodité"
Très bon hôtel, accueil sympathique et serviable, propre. A 5 min. de la place Catalunya et du métro. Un plus, arrivé tôt le matin, nous avons déjà pu bénéficier de la chambre à partir de 9h00.
