Extended Stay America Los Angeles - Ontario Airport in Ontario

I choose this location as it close to myDR. Office. They did not tell me that the back side of the motel was sitting on top of the noisey 10 freeway. It was louder than loud. They did transfer me the next day to another room, but I would be very wary about staying here again.

It was just ok. Very nosiey rom traffic and other guests. Had to wait addtionional 3 hrs for room to be ready. After driving almost 400mi that was not cool. It was ok, just nothing spectacular.

I needed to be in this area for awile for a workshop. The only drawback is that it is an industrial area and it took awhile to find groceries and other things in the area; although the Ontario Mall is across the street. Has all the comforts of home - kitchen, internet and friendly staff. I will be back again shortly.

Beds are so hard not comfortable at all. Room was nice, utilities( Forks, Spoons, ect) were dirty.

Everything was great EXCEPT for the strong reek of horrrrrible smell coming from the hallways. Seriously the hotel management should look at all these reviews and put some febreeze or something in there so it doesnt smell so bad. The room didnt smell much like what it did in the hallways but it was getting there. I went to Target and bought some candles […] for the room so the smell doesn't get worse. Extended Stay rooms have sofas right? Not this one! Our third wheel had to sleep on the floor. Other than than that - not bad. Quite a walk to our venue and restaurants were very far apart - we walked rather than take a cab or drive so our bad(?) Pool was OK - again, no hot tub so not quite up to speed. The elevators and coridors have such a strong stench of oldie moldie and cigarettes. It is a difficult journey to hold your breath to your room. Then the Key cards seem to have difficulty. Not just mine either. Went and stood in line with other hotel customers also having key card issues. Asked for a nonsmoking room. Got one, but on a smoking floor (third floor) - had to literally hold my breath from the elevator to the room that's how smoky it was. Hardly slept due to the smoke. Changed rooms to the nonsmoking floor (second floor). Much better room - renovated. Staff is exceptionally accomodating!! This was my second stay at this hotel, and I have to say, I was a little disappointed. Once again, there was very little attention to detail. One of the lamps did not work, so I asked the front desk to repair it. I wish the lamp would have stayed off because when it worked, I could see all the dirt and finger prints all over the base of the lamp. The […] dresser draws were not wiped clean. I did not feel comfortable placing my clothes in them, and how are they cleaning the elevator doors? Every hotel that I have ever patronized has stainless steel doors, but I have never seen so may smears as I saw on this elevator. It is obvious; they are using the wrong cleaning material. I pull a fork from the draw, and there was dried up chocolate all over it. That prompt me to look at all the other silverware, and the knifes were in bad shape. The hotel stay was okay. When I first arrive in the room, I noticed that the stopper was missing from the bathroom sink. I immediately told the manager, and he was all to happy to fix the problem or move me to another room. I apt to stay in the room, and the next day when I arrive to the room, the sink had been repaired. The dresser was a little dirty. […] The draws were not wiped clean. A piece of the dresser was starting to ripe off, All that is required to fix that problem is a little glue. I am very particular about my towels. I had to return a few towels because of spots. The recent upgrades to this hotel made for a pleasant visit. My only complaint may remain within the fact that the ECCO LAB deterrent, used to negate cigarette odors on the third floor, gives-off an weird smell. I stayed in a smoking room, and the smell of the ECCO LAB odor was not as pronounced when in the room though. Lastly, one of the windows was […] broken and I couldn't open it. I travel quite often and this hotel was by far the worst! I would never reccomend this to anyone! Maintainance took days to fix out broken door lock (which was broken from the moment we walked in). The cleaning people did not change the sheets, vaccum or clean anything. They just replaced towels. When I complained I was told I could go down to the lobby […] to get sheets to change myself!!! For some reason, when you take a shower, the water collect on the curtain which extends outside of the shower area (there's not tub), and the water just collects and runs to the kitchen if you take a long one! The staff however was patient and nice enough. But the hotel overall was uncomfortable, a dirty towel left in the kitchen area, loud from the freeway on first level, minimal towels pretty sad that I had to leave my room to bring dirty towels to the front desk while the clerk handed a green laundry basket to put them in. What ever happened to guest services? […] Also why not give a courtesy call to verify if checking out rather than having front desk knock on your door and ask if your checking out , you could be butt naked and running late and a call would plenty to get you moving a little faster? Really who does that? Unless housekeeping is ready to clean the room that should be the only knock on the door. One last thing would it be to much to ask to put a trash can in the lobby so you don't have to go outside while you wait for your transportation? Never again!! Lees meer

It was smelly, visually dirty and I mean GRIMMY dirty. There was also someone else's hair in the bed. The recliner was supposed to be green but actually looked brown from grime. YUCK!
