Holiday Inn Rosslyn at Key Bridge in Arlington

Het hotel licht buiten Washington, maar met de metro sta je zo op de malle. Daarnaast is het ook mogelijk om naar George Town te wandelen. De kamer was ruim en licht. De bedden waren goed.

This hotel may be the best hotel in Washington DC, considering its rates and its quality. Although it officially is located in Arlington, the metro station at 5 minutes walking brings you to downtown Washington within 15 minutes. In my experience this hotel is perfect for business travel, with free high speed internet access and a good desk to work. The only improvement that the hotel could make, is decreasing the telephone costs - as in most hotels, the telephone rates are incredible excessive. The hotel clearly has a great potential. However, everything just feels and looks (and is) very 70's-80's. The room was terribly worn down, but admittedly as clean as possible given the circumstances. The rooftop restaurant has also a worn down interior which makes dining not so cosy. My room was very comfortable and clean. Great view from the patio. The bed was terrific! I wanted to take the pillows home. Only down side: gross food. Not the place where you want to order room service.

I thought our stay was wonderful. The hotel was lovely, very clean and friendly. A big plus was no additional fee for parking. Every place else had a $30 per day fee on top of hotel cost.

An excellant place to stay , quite pricy but you get your moneys worth and the restaurent at the top of the hotel has an excellent view of georgetown I was injured and had to have bed rest for a 2 days before my flight and was very satisfied with this hotel

Had a really nice time. The hotel is located in a convenient location near the Metro and surrounding restaurants. Food at the dining hall was not great but the service was excellent and nice. Georgetown was a 10 min walk over the key bridge. Great views from the 17th floor.

Lobby is nice, but the moment you walk into the elevator, things change. Hallway smells, rooms old, bathroom sink had a hole in it, balcony filled with cigarette butts. Gross!

I found your hotel to be extremely clean, well presented and in a convenient location. May stay was some what marred as I booked two rooms (5 people per room (a total of 10 adults)) however upon check in I discovered the rooms slept 4 at most. Despite the staff attempting to find a fold out bed per room we were informed the hotel had none and the only […] sollution was to sleep on the floor!! As a proud member of the Royal Marines (as were all the party) I feel we serve our country well and found this treatment quite unacceptable... spoiling a once in a lifetime stay in your nations capital. Price very low, convenient to public transport and access to must see sights, everything necessary in room except microwave, dated decor, nice pool, exercise room, free parking and restaurant a bonus.

Quite and clean, only one block to subway station, only 5 stops to city center. Especially free for parking.

I was trying to find a hotel that was right outside Washington D.C. and that was pretty inexpensive. I could not have asked for a better stay. The metro is literally across the street and you can pretty much go anywhere (we personally went to the National Mall and did not have to change trains). It is also right across the bridge from Georgetown, so […] easily walkable. We drove in to the hotel and never bothered with the car again for the next 4 days. Ideal location next to the Metro and a walk across Key Bridge to Georgetown! Room was comfortable enough -- though I wish the bathroom had a fan/vent. Balcony lets you get "real" air -- a big plus in my book in spite of street noise -- and I happened to like seeing the […] airplanes fly by on the river side! The biggest asset? The maitre d' staff of the top floor dining room made us feel like we were being welcomed into their own establishment, not a hotel chain restaurant that sees thousands of new faces each week, friendly and attentive. The staff was great. The location was great.

The hotel staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was convenient, especially after a long day of sight-seeing. Would recommend to another for a good hotel to stay, this is it. Also very close to the metro station...a major plus!!

This Holiday Inn in Rosslyn, Va., was a great location and very clean. Part of deal was the free parking. So we could go into Washington and not worry about a car. Subway was about a block away. DC's metro subway is great. Wifi was limitedl; could not get into it. Did not eat in -- too expensive.

This is our second stay here and I would recommend it as a home base for a trip to DC. The Rosslyn metro station is a short walk and you can leave your car in the parking garage and walk to various restaurants in the area. The desk staff is professional and has lots of pamphlets and suggestions. The pool is nice. The only drawbacks would be the lack […] of a microwave in the rooms, the late opening of the fitness center (8am, really?) and the need to be a "Premier Club" member to get the breakfast buffet for free. It's easy (and free) to sign up online, but some staff says only one buffet per membership, some staff says it counts for the whole room. Whatever... The staff was great...the location is great and the hotel was clean...except for the bath/shower. It definately needs to be changed. The bathroom was clean except for the bath. Our room definately needed to have a new bath put in and PLEASE...remove those shower doors...Yuk!!!!!

Great location, parking, friendly staff, great stay for the price.

We were in town for the half marathon and it was such a nice hotel and very convenient to the metro which brought us directly to where we needed to go. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was there on business travel what turned out to be the beginning of spring break. There were a lot of multi-room groups with young kids whose parents don't have manners (yelling in the hall) as well as teenagers on school trips. Why you would scatter unaccompanied teenagers across a hotel with business travelers is beyond me - put them in a block […] and keep them close to their chaperone. Overall there was nothing horrible but this hotel is older and I could hear every door slam down the hall. Unfortunately the doors do not close quietly when you let them go and young people do not understand consciously closing a door. So there was a lot of slamming at all hours. The room I had was smallish but it had a balcony that faced the Key Bridge, which was lovely except people love to accelerate motorcycles across it and the corner had major truck engine breaking. Net/net this property is loud. The staff was quite accomodating and the location is extremely convenient to the metro. I recommend this hotel if it's the best choice for your budget, but enjoyed my stay down in Ballston and Clarendon more. I cannot recommend the food at the top floor restaurant but the view is great. I ALWAYS ENJOY STAYING AT THIS HOLIDAY INN. IT IS VERY CONVENIENT TO ALL OF D.C. THE METRO STOP IS AFEW BLOCKS AWAY, AND IT IS ONE STOP TO WASHINGTON AND ALL THE SIGHTS. THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT AND VERY HELPFUL WITH REQUESTS. I WILL NOT HESITATE TO STAY HERE ON ALL MY VISITS TO THE NATIONS CAPITAL.

I stayed at this hotel a couple weeks ago and I enjoyed my stay very much. It was close to the metro, everyone was so nice. The lady at the front desk helped answer any questions I had about the area and things to do. If I ever go back to DC, I will stay here again.

Location, location location . Minutes from everything. Free Parking. Continental breakfast was above average and the wait staff was right on. My wife and I will stay here again. We had stayed at the Marriott before. This was just as nice at 1/2 the price.

The price was right - but construction going on outside so it was very noisy very early

it was 7 minutes from the white house breakfast was great.

Satisfactory. Restaurant at top floor was closed n no access to the window or roof for city view. No security guards. Front desk people were polite enough. Rooms are clean but lobby may need some redesign. Overall okay. One thing, this hotel needs to put bigger sign on the building so its easier for people to find it.

Everytime I come to DC, I will be staying here!!! Great price, service, and the location is quiet. Point blank!

The hotel was very nice the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a short distance to the Metro System so access around Washington is very simple. The view we had of the Potomac was excellent we couldn’t ask for a better room and experience. If we make it back I would stay there again!! I liked the location. There were two small stains on the linens. (At least one appeared to be a food stain.) The cafe (which is not on the top floor) is closed until March, so you're on your own for breakfast until then unless you want to do room service. I had a conference in Rosslyn and the hotel was very well priced and clean. My room had a loud sound coming out of the heating system which kept me awake for quite a while. (I arrived late at night and didn't want to change rooms even if I could. I eventually took a sleeping pill and that worked. Otherwise no complaints.
