The location of this hotel CANNOT be beat. You are literally 10 steps away from the famous Pismo Beach and all the sights around it!

Very nice, we had a wonderful time. The girls at the desk were very nice and made our stay perfect. Right on the beach, just south of the pier, great view. Added this hotel to one of our favorites.

Great location on the beach, next to the pier, restaurants, and shopping. Nice stay the only negative was the hotel was in the middle of being remolded. It would have been nice to know before we arrived.

The manager, Roger, was very helpful. The morning breakfast service was very complete and the coffee was good too. The location is right on the beach and near the pier so there's plenty to see and places to walk. A beach front room is the only way to go to really enjoy the hotel's great location. The extra cost is well worth it.

Lovely hotel on beach with charm! Friendly staff. Rooms very clean, plenty of parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to all. We reserved a room with beach view balcony and loved it!

TheSandcastle Inn in Pismo Beach met and exceeded every one of my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend it ti friends or return if the situation arose.

We were very pleased to spend three days at the Sandcastle Inn, the location is unbeatable. While the decor is currently a little worn, they are in the process of a very high quality upgrade. The decorator's plans and samples are on display in the breakfast room. This hotel was very expensive for what it offered. It's nothing more than a Best Western at Ritz Carlton prizes. Great ocean view but that's all. Rooms don't have air conditioning so at night very stuffy.

Ok, first things first, You are paying for location. It is walking distance from everything. Next, get an ocean front room. Nothing like having the beach right there and waking up to the ocean. It was a nice hotel very close to the beach and restaurants. The breakfast that is offered at the hotel was good and the people that work there were very nice. I truly recommend booking on time so you can get a balcony in your room it makes a big difference. The location to me was the best since it's close to the shops, they rent bicycles just a few […] blocks away so my kids had fun. Overall was OK. For the hotel itself, it was a little on the expensive side. The hotel was just an average Holiday Inn type. Nothing fancy with the exception that it was beach side. There was no ac, so staying on the 2nd floor was kinda warm. With the window wide open and the fan full blast, it was still too warm. Breakfast was OK. Visitors really only go to three areas in Pismo, the shopping strip, pier, and beach. This hotel is the closest you'll get to all 3, You'll never have to park anywhere else but your hotels since everything is in walking distance. And even if you don't get a beach or pier view at this hotel, theres plenty of places/balconies at this hotel that give you […] the same view. Lees meer

right on the beach with shops, restaurants and the pismo pier just steps away. an oeanview room was wonderful for the calming waves but the room was a bit small and you should book early for a suite.

We were concerned that we might have booked ourselves into a run-down beach property, but that isn't at all the case. The Sandcastle looks great, and its location is perfect. Breakfast was OK. They have several waffle-makers--which is the only hot food item--but the space for making them is too tight, resulting in a real crowded feeling. It was difficult […] to get to anything else (bagels, toast, rolls) because of all the people standing there waiting for their waffles. Although we didn't spend much time in the room because of the wedding we were attending, the time spent was wonderful! A big screen tv was available and my favorite, a refrigerator. We actually had an ocean view,not just a corner of the ocean blocked by something. That was the best. The sights and sounds of the ocean were amazing. I question the parking situation and the placement of the toilet paper. parking lot was full and I felt I was going to fall off the toilet reaching for the paper! Overall, it was a good stay. All aspects of the Inn were handled in a very professional manner. The accommodations were very user friendly easy to access from Freeway and the city itself was very manueverable on foot or vehicle. The children enjoyed having the Ocean and pier Just a few steps from the Sandcastle Inn . Will always use the Hotels.com website for future reservations […] and stay at this Inn when we visit this area if available. Lees meer

The room was beautiful and the location great, but the hotel turned off the water for several hours one day. They stated it would be turned off at a certain time, which we planned our day around, then the time was changed--not convenient. Also, our room was only partly cleaned and not resupplied with towels, etc. on that day.

We just loved the SandCastle Inn at Pismo Beach California. We had beachfront views and a lovely balcony which was great as we were travelling with kids so it gave us space to move to and enjoy once the kids were asleep - unlike most hotel rooms its usually kids asleep and then lights out for everyone. The people were so friendly and the breakfast was […] awesome. You had a great healthy selection of food and then there was the option to make your very one waffles...our kids loved it! Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. From the room, the view, the location, the service, the breakfast, everything was the best. I rate it an 11 on a scale of 1-10. This was such a rewarding stay. The location of this hotel made relaxing on the beach, shopping and restaurant access all just a step away. It was nice being able to walk everywhere I wanted to go. Plus the view of the ocean from my room was just remarkable. The rooms were also very nice. I wanted to take one of the pillows home with me, cause they […] were so soft and comfy. We have stayed here before and it is a nice hotel. There was wall paper peeling off of the wall and small areas of mold in the shower. The night we stayed it was hot and being on the second floor made it even hotter. There is no A/C here and on this night there was not a sea breeze either. The location is good. Right on the beach. Nice place, excellent location on beach, good free breakfast, free parking, wi-fi, and overall excellent value. Was my second visit to Sandcastle and would go back again. Recommended.

Very Pleasant. Definitely the place to stay at Pismo. Used this as a stop over on a longer trip up north. Pleasant way to get a break from driving....Steps to the Beach and Board walk to the Pier. Staff is pleasant...room was clean. Great Location; This hotel is on the beach next to the Pier. The only disappointment was the area not the hotel. The entire pier shopping/restaurant area is under construction. Retailers were still open, but a bit of an inconvenience to walk all the way around the construction site. I'm sure this will all be done by spring! Great hotel on the beach […] would stay again.
