Novotel New York - Times Square in New York

Super hotel. Alleen de bedden zijn geen twee persoons bedden maat twijfelaars. Beetje krap met zijn tweetjes. We hadden super uizticht op times square vanaf de 17e verdieping

Prima, net hotel op een perfecte lokatie aan Broadway/Times Square. Uitgebreid ontbijt buffet, gezellige bar. Veel restaurants op nog geen 10 minuten lopen. Een aanrader!!

Heerlijk hotel! Wij hadden uitzicht op Times Square; fantastisch! Erg vriendelijk personeel, zeer uitgebreid en goed ontbijt (in restaurant met ook prachtig uitzicht), en leuke bar. Broadway om de hoek. Niet lawaaiig, je kunt na hectische dag goed tot rust komen en lekker slapen in dit hotel. Aanrader!

Ons gezin bestaande uit 2 ouders en 3 kinderen in de leeftijd van 18, 21 en 23 jaar, hebben genoten van onze week vakantie in New York, mede ook omdat het hotel perfect ligt aan Broadway met Times Square om de hoek. je zit meteen in bruisend New York als je het hotel uit loopt. Het personeel is super aardig, behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Uitzonderlijk […] voor New York en zeker het noemen waard is het feit dat er een zeer uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet is, hoewel af en toe buiten het hotel ontbijten ook leuk is. op de laatste dag uitchecken tot 12.00 uur en daarna werd de bagage nog in bewaring gehouden , de s'morgens bestelde taxi voor 5 personen werd tot onze verassing 's middags een streched limo . al met al is dit hotel een zekere aanrader voor iedereen die een city trip naar New York wil maken Lees meer

Very nice place take a room with the view on broadway.

Very well situated hotel. Service (for NYC) was very good. Parking close by, and at 30USD per 24hrs not too expensive considering location. The view from the bar/balcony/restaurant is great. A renovation of the bathrooms would be good, but overall a good price/quality solution at a great location with a super view from the terrace.

Excellent location, but tucked away just far enough from the mad crowds of Time Square up on 52nd St and Broadway. Very romantic location, with an excellent sky deck overlooking Times Square on the 7th floor. Will definitely return to this establishment for our future NYC holidays.

We have just returned from a long Easter weekend in New York, with our 12 year old son. Our trip was amazing from start to finish. New York is such a wonderful city and the location of the Novotel is ideal to maximise the enjoyment of a short stay. With its central mid-town location on Times Square, easy walking distance to Central Park, the Riockefeller […] Center, 42nd Street, 5th Avenue, and many more of the must see attractions, we would absolutely recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere of the hotel was pleasant and relaxed.. If anything, our particular room was slightly small by American hotel standards, with just the one kingsize bed, and a sofa bed for our son (rather than the two kingsize beds available in other rooms), However, in a city like New York it was not our intention to spend too much time in there. Although the bathrooms are a bit dated and not as clean as I would have hoped, the location was great and the hotel comfortable and just fine.

Awesome location...within walking distance to many attractions. Clean and comfort of our room but a bit of noisy due to facing broadway stripe at the lower floor.

We arrived at our hotel after a 13hr flight from Australia. We struggled inside with our bags as no one came to help us. After checking in we struggled again to our room with our baggage. I was lead to believe this was a 5 star hotel when I booked the accommodation. My partner and I did not receive any service whatsoever in the time we spent there. […] We enjoyed our stay immensely in the city. The location was excellent. We walked to a lot of attractions we wanted to see. It would have been nice to be able to make a cup of tea in our room in the morning and evenings instead of paying $5 a cup through room service. Wi Fi is $10 per day!! We struggled out into the street again when we left without so much as a goodbye!! We will not be staying there next time we visit New York. Lees meer

We stayed here early March and loved it. The staff were wonderful, the concierge took time to educate us on the happening 'it' spots at night and took care of any necessary reservations required. Room was clean and decent size, bathroom the same, plenty of room for 2 girls to get ready to go out! Lastly, location is perfect!!! Central to everything […] you may want to do. My usual New York hotel view is a wall. From here I could actually see the billboards and lights of Times Square without the noise. The hotel is beautiful and feels luxurious without being over the top. Everyoneimet on staff was great. My room wasn't sparkling clean, but I don't hold that against them. Still loved my stay, but I did feel a bit like […] it was a 2 and a half for my room cleaning after I got there. Just inconsistent, but didn't make me feel uncomfortable. Very comfortable and clean. Good service. My only complaints, and they are minor, are that the hotel is not directly accessible from the street -one must take an elevator to the "lobby" level and this, I believe, has an affect on the hotel bar - which is sadly dead and uninviting.

Located just next to Times Square , not to far away! Very Convenient while touring the city.

Great hotel location, beautiful views of Times Square, very close to all attractions New York has to offer. Tourist buses were just around the corner as well as convenience stores which were open 24 hours. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York especially for the first time. Bathrooms were a little bit outdated but trust me in New york […] you don't spend too much time in your room there is so much to see and do. Just a little tip there is an italian restaurant around the corner which does a buffet breakfast for around $10 per person Lees meer

This is the ideal hotel for Times Sq. We asked for a skyscraper view room and it was fab, 33rd floor. Room was clean and tidy. Was tidied up every day. Overall loved the place and would stay again.

WOW, what a location right in the heart of New York City!!! Right next to all the broadway theatres, plenty of shopping and food right at your doorstep!!! Awesome room very roomy for NYC and up to date and clean!!! What a view too looked straight ahead to see the Times Square new years eve ball!!!! We enjoyed staying at the hotel because it was close to everything. There is a subway stop that is one block away and it was easy to make our way around Manhattan from there. The hotel room was nice and clean. However, the bed was a little uncomfortable and hard. I think they keep every room on the same temperature because the room never got cool enough […] for our comfort level to sleep. We spoke to the front desk about it, but I am not sure if anything was ever done because we never noticed a difference in temperature. Overall for the price of the room we did enjoy our stay. Nothing special about this place, which seemed to be the French equivalent of the big US chains like Holiday Inn and Marriott. Good location and clean rooms, but no charm at all. You likely will find something that's more of a NY experience for the same price or just a bit more.

Its all about the location!! If you want to be at the heart of the action, this is a great place to stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable, staff are friendly and we had great views from our bedroom. Would certainly go back

This hotel gets an 9 out of 10 for the staff. The room on the other hand gets a 2. The room was very small, not like what was seen in the online add. I am 6'2" and my feet hung over the edge of the bed at least a foot. The pillows were very thin and hard as a rock. I had 3 restless nights sleep which negatively effected my stay in New York. When asked […] for a softer Feather (not foam), I was brought another thin hard foam pillow. I do not recommend this Hotel for anyone trying to get a good nights sleep. Lees meer

Really couldn't ask for more.

THIS WAS OUR 4TH VISIT TO THIS HOTEL AND WE LOVE STAYING THERE. THE STAFF ARE VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY AND THE LOCATION IS FANTASTIC. WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ALTHOUGH I WOULD PREFER TO KEEP IT A SECRET!!!

At first I thought the hotel was a step down from what I am used to, but after the first few hours, I really enjoyed it! Lots of foreign guests, many were French and lovely. The breakfast buffet is fabulous! Our room was very large. A good value.

Very close to Time Sq & other must see sights

this is a wonderful hotel and you can't beat it for the comparitive price to other hotels of its class.

Just few minutes from times square and central park. Great view from hotel rooms. Room is good not excellent

The Hotel is incredibly well located and the service is very good. It's also very clean, but perhaps seemingly a little dated. All things considered, I would recommend this place to anyone and for those with kids, there is a pharmacy next door for anything you might need. hotel is in a great location close to all public transport / broadway / times square / central park. bar staff friendly , concierge extemely helpfull, hotel is clean and to a good standard for price would stay there again.

Excellent location for nearly all the sights especially Times Square. Had a problem with the bedding on arrival and had to ask for the bedding to be changed and the silicone around the bath was mouldy but otherwise the rest of the room was clean. Surprised to find they dont supply tea making facilities in the rooms. You could use room service but it […] gets expensive just for a morning or evening cuppa. Breakfast was ok and bar snacks not bad. Not much choice though. Cheaper diners within easy walking distance. Staff friendly enough especially the barman. Get a room as high up as you can due to the street noise but be aware, the lifts are temperamantal and some days we waited 25 minutes for a lift down from the 28th floor. On our first ever trip to NYC the Novatel didn't live up to its promises. First of all, we requested a nonsmoking room and were put in a smoking room. The air in the hallway and in our room was heavy with the stench of stale smoke, and the ashtray on the desk confirmed our worst suspicions. The hotel "was full" so had no other rooms to give us. The […] bed was as hard a slab of cement, so we didn't sleep well. Hotel service was nonexistent, especially front desk help, who was indifferent to our concerns. Sine we were visiting the city for the first time, we really would have appreciated a warmer reception than we received. Overall, a huge disapointment and we would not stay at the Novatel again. Our room was modest but the view of Time's Square was magnificent! Be sure to ask for the Times Square view. Skip the dinner food at the restaurant which was awful but be sure to enjoy the deck overlooking the sights.

A very nice hotel in the heart of the NYC. Within walking distance of major theaters, 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, MoMA, Central Park etc. Close to subway. Our room had a fantastic view of Times Square but this is not the case for all rooms! In spite of the central location there was almost no street noice. Good location, near Times Square and Broadway. Clean and comfortable. Would of liked tea and coffee making facilities. Paid a very high premium for NY hotel - we stayed at 8 other hotels during our trip and the Novotel was more than double the price of any of the others including Montreal.
