Luxe kamer, hotel besteedt duidelijk veel zorg aan comfort gasten (gratis Internet, mooi gevouwen handdoeken, uitstekend ontbijt, gratis shuttle van en naar vliegveld).

Prettig hotel met gratis ontbijt en WiFi, centraal gelegen - via BART en Muni stations dichtbij het hotel is alles in San Francisco bereikbaar.

Prima hotel en een comfortabele ruime kamer. De keuze voor een Business Plan kamer met king-size bed is me zeer goed bevallen. Een WiFi verbinding was inclusief, weliswaar niet heel erg snel, maar voor de belangrijkste zaken (e-mail en websurfen) voldoende. Voor bijv. Skype is een grotere bandbreedte wenselijk en tegen bijbetaling ook beschikbaar. Ook ontbijt was inclusief en voortreffelijk. Bij mijn volgend bezoek aan SF is de kans groot dat ik weer boek bij Hyatt Fisherman's Wharf.
Ligging.
The Westin San Francisco Market Street ligt in het centrum van San Francisco, op een paar meter afstand van Museum of the African Diaspora, Academy of Art University en Museum van Moderne kunst San Francisco. In de buurt liggen ook Union Square en Westfield San Francisco Center Shopping Mall.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel met een spa heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 4-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een technische helpdesk. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, een conciërgebalie en meertalig personeel. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie. De volledige renovatie van deze accommodatie werd in juni 2007 voltooid.
Hotelkamers.
The Westin San Francisco Market Street heeft 676 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluis. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met designer beddengoed, driedubbele lakens en een donsdeken. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke 37-inch flatscreen televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met meerdere lijnen met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, designer toiletartikelen, make-up/scheerspiegels en een föhn.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker en een gratis weekkrant. Bovendien kun je op verzoek gebruikmaken van voorzieningen zoals hypoallergeen beddengoed en een telefonische wekdienst. Een huishoudservice is dagelijks beschikbaar. Op de kamers van The Westin San Francisco Market Street mag niet worden gerookt.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

Op Union Square staan bekende warenhuizen, zoals het prominente West Coast. Chinatown begint aan Grant Avenue en Bush Street, en in Nob Hill staan nog herenhuizen uit de tijd van de goudkoorts. In het congrescentrumdistrict ten zuiden van Union Square staan het San Francisco Museum of Modern Art en het Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Kabelwagens keren om op Powell Street en Market Street, en gaan terug naar Fisherman's Wharf.

"Mooi Hotel en centraal gelegen."
We zijn zeer tevreden over dit hotel. Onze kamer was erg mooi en we hadden een mooi uitzicht. Erg vriendelijk personeel. We hebben er niet gegeten. Het ligt erg centraal. We hebben de metro BART genomen vanaf het vliegveld. Dat gaat prima. Want met een taxi kost dat erg veel. Omdat het zo centraal ligt kan je ook veel lopend doen.

"Supercentraal gelegen"
Heel net hotel en supercentraal gelegen. Openbaar vervoer stopt bijna voor de deur. Zeker een aanrader. Zou er zo weer naartoe gaan.

prijs kwaliteit zeer goed en het eten lekker een eigen balie voor informatie de vragen over san fransisco en omgeving en je kan er terecht met al je vraden taxi 24 op 24 u aanwezig voor het hotel een pc aanwezig waar alle luchtvaartmaatshcappijen op vermeld staan zodat je vanuit het hotel online kan inchecken en dit niet meer op de luchthaven moet doen zeer […] vriendelijk personeel en heel behulpzaam wanneer ik in san fransisco ben neem zeker dit hotel terug voor mijn verblijf Lees meer

"Convenient location, good value but slight flaw"
Pretty ideal for a fuss-free 3 nights stay, it is very centrally located. Dampener was the high charge for either wired or wireless internet access, which is a basic expectation of all travellers to a hotel of a global standard. They could either provide 1 option free or at a lower rate to make it more palatable in this day & age! Upgraded view was okay but there was a building that cut down on any bay view. Good location for theater, Union Square shopping and good restsurants.
"Very enjoyable Stay"
The location was excellent as we were able to walk to the museums and go to great restaurants. The hotel also accomodated us for late check out so our one year old could take his nap. Excellent servie!

"Great for leisure, maybe not for business"
The hotel was beautiful and the staff very kind and helpful. Only downside is the business center. It has two computers and charges $7 for the first 15 minutes plus high printing costs. I had my own computer and wanted to print one page, but they told me that would cost about $10 because I would have to access from their computer. Check in was easy. Room clean & ready. We booked a room on the 16th Floor, view was good. Room was 3 doors passed elevators but could hear them at night. Would book again

The breakfast costs are way to high.
When you pay to stay at a four star Hotel. You should not have to pay 54$ for parking. I could see if you had other options but parking on the was out of the question because of street sweeping every night..... I WILL NEVER GET ME THERE AGIN
"Westin on 3rd Street"
Always always stay here when I come to SF. it's located close to the MOMA and right by the busy parts in town. Everything is accessible and of course the customer service is outstanding. Great bar and lounge, and very comfortable rooms.

Room was quite small for the price. I prefer the Hotel Nikko accommodations.
"A wonderful 2 day "Girl's Day "with a friend"
We had a wonderful time, acted like tourists, did cable car trips, shopped at Westfield, and went to 2 wonderful dinners. It was a great 2 days and everyone at the hotel couldn't be more helpful or knowledgeable about the City and all its sights.Thank you.

"Luxury at economy prices"
One of the best hotels we have stayed in and we got a great deal. Comfortable, clean, quiet, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

I never fill out surveys, but felt I needed to in this case. I travel a lot and stay in a lot of hotels, usually on the upper scale. The staff at The Westin was over the top! For one reason or another we changed rooms a couple times and there was never a complaint or hesitation from the staff. We left things behind and they found them. We lost a bottle […] of our champagne we brought and they replaced it along with a cheese platter delivered by two head personal, not a room service person. I would stay here again in a second! "Hotel Westin on Market Street - very convenient"
and clean. Rooms were extremely comfortable. The staff was very helpful. We got there at around 10:00 in the morning and check in wasn't until 3:00 but they gave us a room with a better view right away. The hotel was located right in the middle of everything but was down a side street so nice and quiet for the city. Absolutely perfect.

"SF 20th Anniv weekend"
The Westin was great! Location is perfect, safe and convenient. Staff could not be nicer and our room was beautiful. The price for the quality of the hotel was also great. I would stay there again if I went to SF. Could not have been better. They even gave us champagne and strawberries as a welcome gift. Nice! Thanks!

"Forgot dinner"
I have been to several Westins and never had a bad experience with service. However, this time we have ordered room service for dinner and the dinner stayed in our room almost a day. The cleaning person forgot to take out the food. The room smelled bad. The hotel manager apologized but that is not enough. On the very positive note, the concierge service […] is outstanding, particularly Tobby, he gave us treat suggestions for restaurants and places to visit in San Francisco. "great hotel"
We loved the hotel. The hotel is 3 minutes walking distance from Union Square. Plenty of dining and shopping close. We stayed in a room on the 35th floor and had a great view of San Francisco! Fare form the airport was $47. We enjoyed the stay and would go there again.

It was a very nice stay. I had my grand kid and the room was very nice. I wish we had double sinks, but other then that the room was very nice. It would have been nice if it had an indoor pool as well. Overall it was a nice stay.

"family vacation"
my husband and i took our daughters for their first trip to San Fran and this was the perfect hotel. it is located right in the middle of union square. great for shopping, china town, restaurants and people watching. and you can hop on the trolley and be in fisherman's wharf in no time. we will definitely be back....oh and its dog friendly!!!!

"Great value and location"
My son and I got a good price, and were able to walk to museums, Chinatown, Union Square and even the Ferry Building. The room was large and had a spectacular view over the Yerba Buena Gardens. Very comfortable overall.
"Nice hotel, but..."
good location, use parking across the street (very convenient and half the price)...didn't use the restaurants in the hotel so can't advise, but the beds were horrendous!!! Got up the next morning and all of us (used both queen beds during stay) had terrible back pain...not quite what they advertise...
