Heerlijk mini-resort, volgens vaste gasten met stip het beste hotel in desert hot springs. De eigenaar Greg is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Na een lange wandeling in de omgeving zijn de thermale baden heerlijk. En slaap je goed op het tempur matras. Desert Hot Springs is een onooglijk stadje, maar op Palm Drive zit een leuk authentiek Mexicaans eethuis. En er zijn veel wandelmogelijkheden in de buurt.

We were passing by, on our way to Las Vegas. The hotel was good, clean and comfortable. The heated pool and hot tub were really nice and relaxing. Still, i wouldn't stay around too long. The hotel restaurant happened to be closed and one of our rooms was not ready when we arrived (although it was past 1600 and we had booked well in advance.) But still, we had a pleasant, relaxing 1 day stay.

Erg verzorgd hotel, veel ruimte, je kunt zelf koken, maar er is ook in de oprijs innegrepen een goed ontbijt en redelijk avondeten. Onamerikaanse gastvrijheid. Buiten hoogseizoen (winter en lente) zijn er goede deals te maken! Topervaring.
Ligging.
Best Western Plus Palm Desert Resort bevindt zich in het centrum van Palm Desert, dicht bij The Gardens on El Paseo, Living Desert Zoo & Gardens en Winkelcentrum Westfield Palm Desert. In de ruime omgeving liggen ook Countryclub Rancho Las Palmas en Desert Willow Golf Resort.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Best Western Plus Palm Desert Resort heeft onoverdekte tennisbanen, een buitenzwembad en een spabad. Draadloos internet is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit hotel met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang en vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen. Elke ochtend wordt gratis ontbijt geserveerd. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice en een huwelijksservice regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een fitnesscentrum, meertalig personeel en een wasserij. Gasten kunnen gratis parkeren. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie.

Elke kamer heeft een patio met uitzicht op de bergen, de tuin of het binnenplein. Best Western Plus Palm Desert Resort heeft 150 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een (laptop)kluis en een gratis krant. Gasten hebben een gratis draadloze internetverbinding op de kamer. Elke televisie heeft premiumkanalen via de kabel. Alle kamers beschikken over een telefoon met voicemail en gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.
Elke kamer is voorzien van een koelkast en een koffiezetapparaat/waterkoker. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een strijkplank/strijkijzer en openslaande ramen. Bovendien wordt dagelijks een huishoudservice aangeboden. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als een telefonische wekdienst beschikbaar. Op de kamers van Best Western Plus Palm Desert Resort mag niet worden gerookt. De renovatie van alle kamers werd in februari 2011 voltooid.

"A hotel without a microwave?!"
Overall, I really liked this hotel but there were a few annoyances that made me drop its rating. The first is that the minifridge looked like it was purchased from a garage sale at a frat. Secondly, there was no microwave. I can't remember the last time that I stayed at a hotel that didn't have a micro. It had to be sometime in the early 90s. I know that this is their "hotels.com" room, but still, the surrounding area is loaded, purchasing a $30 microwave and a new fridge where the handle doesn't fall off in your hand when you open it is definitely affordable. Very good value
"Excellent quality"
Very comfortable suites, clean and spacious. Excellent beds. Two big flatscreen TVs plus one in the huge bathroom. Friendly staff. Valet parking and free Internet included. There's even a printer in the room.

We have stayed here several times now and have been very happy everytime. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The bed was very soft and comfy. The breakfast is GREAT! On our next trip we have talked my In-Laws in to staying here with us.
This hotel was well located next to several restaurants and shops. The towels as others have commented were very rough. The pool was quite small, with no umbrellas and very little shade. If u have some family members that like to sit around the pool in the shade probabaly not for you. Breakfast also as others have commented was very good

Best Western Resort in Palm Desert, CA. Staff were very helpful and prompt in providing us a different room because of a very noisy air conditioning compressor. The room was fine, except we'd prefer carpeting to "hardwood" flooring. No kleenix in bathroom, however. Very adequate included breakfast. Pillows on the king bed were, however, a little small. Lots of kids and families. The pool is standard. Towels are restocked often. Breakfast to order is a nice perk and great way to start your day. It's not room service though.

We had never stayed at this hotel but have been spending Easter in the area for years. We tried the Best Western just to see what it was like and won't return. Maintenance is poor. "Great location"
A very nice Best Western within close proximity to multiple stores, restaurants and attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable with a cozy little balcony that overlooked the garden area. The hot breakfast made to order was a pleasant surprise.

As others have said, the breakfast is outstanding here. The rooms are so so. The pool area is nice. Overall a pretty good value. The front desk check in person, Ryan, I believe was his name, was quite rude and brusque. I expect a friendly check in with some dialogue about where my room will be, not just a key tossed at me. I had to ask about breakfast, […] directions, where to park, etc. So my first impressions were not great. The hotel failed three mornings straight to deliver our wake-up call as requested. The third day an employee said this service was provided by an outside service and there was nothing they could do!

Beautiful location - stores, malls, restaurants and area attractions. Clean rooms, very pretty pool area, great staff. The breakfast was unbelievable! Highly recommend this hotel for families on a budget, especially in this area, as other hotels are very pricey. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay there again.

"Close to Living Desert"
Had our daughter and grandson with us to visit the Living Desert. The hotel was very close so we didn't have to spend a lot of time driving. We were able to cool off in the pool after a hot afternoon and throughly enjoyed it. Breakfast the next morning was awesome! Would stay here again.

Overall this hotel is a great value. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and had a small couch for seating plus a small desk. The included breakfast offered a limited menu, but it was delicious. The chefs cooked to order your egg/pancake entrees. The wait was usually only a couple minutes. The room was large with a sitting area. The hot breakfast was great with friendly cooks. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. The only complaint is that the bath towels are so small and thin. I think a hotel of this quality should have better towels.

"Great hotel for price"
I so enjoyed my stay for one night....and the breakfast...it couldn't have been better. This is the first hotel that I have stayed at where you could order your breakfast and it was prepared right on the spot. It was great!
This was a very comfortable motel with a wonderful breakfast benefit. Items were made to order and fresh from their grill.

"Need to know what you want"
Depending on where your activities are, this hotel is about 20 min away from Palm Spring among other chain hotels in the same area. Bed is very uncomfortable for anyone with bad back. Very cheap towels. Basic breakfast but free and no waste, which is the only think I liked about.
