Beoordeeld door een gast van Hotels.com op 24 feb, 2013We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door de receptionist en kregen een kamer op de 5e etage met een fantastisch uitzicht over de stad en de Sacre Coeur . Met een waterkoker op de kamer kun je zelf koffie en thee maken. Ontbijten deden we in de stad. De metrohalte Abbesses ligt op 3 minuten lopen van het hotel dat ons zeer goed bevallen is.

The hotel was good value for money considering the location. Staff were efficient and friendly. the rooms was what you would expect in a building of this nature. For a couple it was fine. "4 star and 3 star"
I think this was a great deal for price. The lobby was beautiful and oranate. We got a small room for an excellent price. Thw bathroom was not that great, tiles and grout had some black and were older. Definitely not a 4 star bathroom/room rating. More like a 3 star. But definitely acceptable. The only concern I had was that we confirmed a king size […] (one bed) They put us in early check in which was fantastic , in a room facing Main Street. It was awesome BUT it was 2 single beds put together. We did not notice til we had unpacked everything and went to bed. Next morning we asked to fix and they wanted us to pay for upgrade. We asked for them to waive charge but they wouldn't. We had to repack everything (when on vacation this is a hassle), wait for porter to show up to help us move... They gave us a much smaller room overlooking an interior courtyard of roofs and mechanicals. It would have been much better business sense to include the upgrade especially since we had to re-pack and wait to get moved. We had a fairly large room for Paris. Bathroom was quite large. Bed was comfortable. TV was small, but we weren't spending too much time watching it. No view from our room window, however. The hotel lobby was magnificent. The hotel itself was about a 20 minute walk to the Place de la Concorde. It was about a 10minute walk to the Galleries Lafayette. Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and it was perfect for us. We had room 235 which was nicely furnished and spacious enough for our stay. Very grand lobby which gives a great first impression on arrival. The concierge was very helpful, booking us tickets to the moulin rouge (a must!) and gave us a few restaurant recommendations. "A 3* hotel hiding behind a 4* reception lobby"
A great hotel, great location as next to the tube which connects straight to the RBR B train to cdg airport. If you choose room only that really is all you get. There is no tea/coffee in the room, not even free water or refreshments on arrival. There is a mini bar if you don't mind paying 8� for a can of coke and there is always room service at 8� for […] a coffee!!! Don't bother with breakfast as right across the road there is a fab place for brioche where you can sit down with a coffee and pastry for 2�. There is also a little supermarket across the road then turn left near a cinema. Restaurants - concierge was brilliant recommended bougoyne sud which made the best french menu and was average about 14� for a main. Marco polo pizza opposite hotel also great. Overall a nice hotel but vvv expensive for just a nights sleep! Don't know how it got 4* though- probably because of the lobby. After you leave the lobby the rest is 3* as no facilities, Room decor and furniture pretty battered in the first room we were allocated but the reception staff apologised and allocated another very quickly. The hotel was perfect for a weekend in Paris. Right next to the tube station. Not far from the main Paris attractions but still quite. The staff were lovely and so helpful, especially the concierge. Excellent location for us, especially during the January sales and close proximity to Printemps and other stores and small shops. A great bakery across the street which provided a very inexpensive breakfast of coffee, oj and a croissant. Lovely traditional hotel with a beautiful lobby area. It is in a great location with the main shopping areas at your doorstep and excellent transport links a few mins walk away. "Not enough for a 4 star hotel"
i stayed in delux room with double bed which was actually just two single beds. It was uncomfortable for a couple to sleep because the bed keep moving and split apart. No free wifi. No coffee pot. It was good that slippers were provided. Shower was a bit challenge because the water temperature keeps changing from too hot to too cold. Location wise this […] hotel was perfect. Room size was not too small by paris standard. No english paper or magazine provided. If you want to stay in a hotel that is easy to move around then i recommend, because it is close to saint lazare train station and shopping area. loved the spacious rooms. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and modern. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The architecture in the lobby was very nice. My only issue was with the cleanliness of the breakfast area floor - there was so much dirt, food crumbs and even a used dental stick on the carpet. It was quite grim. We loved this hotel, definitely recommend it. Everybody spoke English, was very helpful, rooms were very comfortable with a big washroom. The shower was a little weird, but not a big deal. I have never stayed in Paris for such a low price before and I was really afraid that something would be wrong.
