In eerste instantie was het moeilijk te vinden. Maar het hotel was prima. Netjes en schoon. Ligt aan een paralelweg naar het centrum van Austin waar wij moesten zijn. Wanneer je 1 weg verder paralel neemt kom je precies in downtown uit en heb je niets met het drukke verkeer te doen.
Ligging.
Four Seasons Hotel Austin bevindt zich aan een meer van Austin, dicht bij Congrescentrum van Austin, Gouverneurshuis en Regeringsgebouw van Texas. In de buurt liggen ook Geschiedenismuseum Bob Bullock van Texas en Kunstmuseum van Blanton.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Four Seasons Hotel Austin heeft een volledig uitgeruste spa, een healthclub en een buitenzwembad. In openbare ruimtes is tegen betaling een internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) beschikbaar. Dit hotel met 4,5 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen waaronder een businesscentrum met 24/7 toegang, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en secretariële diensten. Dit hotel in luxe stijl heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. Het personeel kan op verzoek hulp bij excursies/tickets, een huwelijksservice en een cateringdienst voor evenementen regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een turks stoombad, een conciërgebalie en meertalig personeel. Gasten kunnen tegen betaling parkeren.
Hotelkamers.
Bij Four Seasons Hotel Austin zijn kamers met airconditioning voorzien van onder andere iPod-dockingstations en een cd-speler. Alle bedden hebben een pillowtop-matras met lakens van Egyptische katoen, driedubbele lakens en een donsdeken. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke kamer heeft een flatscreen televisie met premiumkanalen via de kabel, een dvd-speler en betaalfilms. Elke kamer beschikt over een bureau, ergonomische stoelen en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, badjassen, designer toiletartikelen en een föhn.
Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een minibar en een kluis. Bovendien wordt 's avonds een turndownservice aangeboden en is een huishoudservice dagelijks beschikbaar. Op verzoek zijn voorzieningen als hypoallergeen beddengoed beschikbaar.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een borgsom in contanten of creditcard voor te leggen.

"Four Seasons-must do Steam Room"
Arrived at the hotel with head cold/allergies was recommended by staff to use the steam room at the spa. Best part of every day was taking time out for the steam bath which helped clear my sinuses and to relax after long days of exercising/touring the beautiful city of Austin.
"Not for vacation"
Great business hotel I would assume, since most people there were business people. Pool heater broken or not on, they adverstise 82 all year round. Pool to cold to get in Food not that great all round. Had to send back my hamburger, ask for medium got Well done. Prices for food horrible, 19.00 for a Cobb salad, A Salad Paying for Wi-fi at those prices […] when it's a business hotel, ridiculous. I was last room at the end of hotel so the money I spent on wi-fi wasted because it didn't reach that far; worked in the den not the bedroom :( Staying today and tomorrow at Houston Four Seasons let's hope for better experience Lees meer
Although we appreciate the four-star rating, it was concerning to hear some of the issues you encountered on your recent stay at Four Seasons Hotel Austin. I sincerely apologize for the problems with food service and quality, as well as for your frustration with our Internet service and fees. I was visiting Austin and wanted to be able to maintain my training for a marathon. THe Four Seasons was right on the Lake Trail which is a fabulous trail to run on. The weather was great, but would not be a problem at any time rain or shine. The pool area was very relaxing,water was warm and sparkling clean. "The Middle of Austin's City Limits"
The Four Seasons in Austin is in the middle of what I found to be a seriously happening town, and Four Seasons is a seriously happening hotel. Friendly and effecient does not even begin to describe the staff. "Happy Hour" is one of my favorite hours of the day but the Four Seasons in Austin has a happy hour at their spa! Nothing goes better with a discounted […] massage than appetizers and a glass of champagne. The hotel is centrally located. It's near the convention center and it's about a ten block walk from the State Capitol building. There's a killer coffee house right in front of the Four Season residence complex. Some of the best food and best night life are walking distance from the hotel. The floor to ceiling windows offer a breathtaking view of the Capitol building. I felt well taken care of at the Four Season in Austin and I look forward to a return visit. I reccomend getting a room with a balcony that overlooks Lady Bird Lake. It's quite beautiful. Lees meer

The grounds are lovely, great location, nice gym, sauna, service. Great business or pleasure hotel, if pricey!
"ROOMS LOOK OLD AND FEEL OLD!!!"
I generally stay at the Ritz or Four Seasons when I travel. This hotel was in the worst condition by far. Our bathroom was outdated and had scratch marks all over. The TV remote control look like I was the one milionth user. Walls are paper thin. We could hear people's conversations in adjoining rooms. This is an outdated and neglected hotel.
"It's fine, but not extraordinary."
The location of this hotel is great...close to lots of great restaurants, bars and the water. The hotel was fine as far as cleanliness and such. But for the price, we weren't blown away as far as luxury and service. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Puerto Rico recently and at the St. Regis in Monarch beach and were blown away by the professionalism, […] service and luxury of the hotel. We also paid more for a city view with a balcony, and really that just meant a view of the street and the Mexican restaurant across the street, and the balcony had no furniture so what's the point? If I'm not going to get luxury then I'd rather pay less at a different hotel that's just as clean and convenient. Lees meer
"Great luxury hotel on Lady Bird Lake!"
Beautiful hotel. We stayed with our 2- and 4-year old sons. Pool is fantastic, also walked the hike & bike trail to Zilker Park. Children's museum also in walking distance. Restaurant staff super-nice and accommodating and the food was delicious!!
"One of the few good hotels in Austin"
The Four Seasons Austin is not be the best Four Seasons property. But, compared to the generally poor quality of hotels in Downtown Austin, this is a very nice property with the excellent service that Four Seasons is known for. The rooms are ordinary but well-maintained and housekeeping is OK but not great.

"convenient riverside hotel in Austin"
Good location. Attentive staff but often delays when waiting for valet parking. Stayed in a suite decent size but very small bath room.

A beautifully appointed hotel, the Four Seasons staff is gracious and helpful, the restaurant very good, the rooms are lovely and spacious and the grounds are beautiful. This is everything you want in a luxury hotel.

"Great location next to Town Lake."
The service was excellent. My wife lost her Sonicare Toothbrush and it was replaced by the hotel management. The service counter check-in staff remembered my name despite how busy they were with other hotel guests. I think the location next to Town Lake trail is exceptional.
