Comfort Hotel Boersparken in Oslo

Handig hotel omdat het vlakbij het station en het centrum ligt. Er was een grote verbouwing gaande, dus een beetje chaotisch. Heel goed voor studenten.

Dit hotel voldoet prima voor een kort verblijf. Eenvoudige kamers, netjes, inclusief ontbijt. Inrichting van het hotel nogal sober. Ideaal gelegen op loopafstand van station en centrum. Goede uitvalsbasis voor stadsbezichtiging.

Het hotel ligt dicht bij het centraal station, en je kunt vanuit je raam het operagebouw zien liggen. Parkeren kan in de buurt, je moet wel het kaartje VOORDAT je gaat betalen laten stempelen bij de receptie, dan krijg je een korting op het parkeertarief, anders betaal je de volle mep.....wat wij dus hebben betaald :( Hotel zelf is prima, alle voorzieningen […] zijn aanwezig. Het hotel ligt zeer centraal in Oslo, ongeveer 300 meter van het centraal station vandaan. Het hotel maakt over het algemeen een propere en moderne indruk. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De lobby is modern ingericht en voorzien van comfortabele stoelen. Tevens is er een tv scherm aanwezig, alsmede ook een bar, en er zijn twee computers […] aanwezig met vrij toegang tot internet. Het ontbijt is in buffet vorm en kent veel variatie, waaronder diverse soorten brood en broodbeleg, en ook enkele warme gerechten, zoals worstjes en omelet. De kamer tijdens mijn verblijf was een single room en was zeer proper en was onder andere voorzien van een modern vormgegeven bureautafel met bijbehorende bureaustoel, flatscreen tv, kapstok, waterkoker en een eenpersoonsbed. Het comfort van het bed zorgde voor een goede nachtrust. De kamer was aan de straatkant en bood een mooi uitzicht over een klein gedeelte van de Oslofjord. De badkamer was zeer proper en uitgerust met een moderne douche, toilet en wastafel. Ook was er een föhn aanwezig. Alle verlichting in de kamer en badkamer deed het probleemloos en was modern en strak vorm gegeven. Ook de liften en gangen in het hotel oogden zeer schoon en modern. Een zeer centraal gelegen hotel tegen een zeer betaalbare prijs. Binnen enkele minuten ben je van veel attracties in Oslo. openbaar vervoer om de hoek. Schone kamers. De kamers zijn niet erg groot maar voor een citytrip ruim voldoende. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Enig minpuntje de bedden. Die zakken erg door en zijn voor iemand met een slechte rug niet […] geschikt. It was just Excellant! Sure will stay there again if i travel to Oslo again... The staffs there were very friendly They supplied 4 Apple air-mac to guests at the lobby, free apples and drink you can take anytime you want. Breakfast was good. The hotel is conveniently located just by the railway station, close to the beautiful Opera House. Their breakfast consisted of a huge variety of cold cuts, salmon, salad, cereal, muesli, fresh fruit, you name it! Rooms were basic but sufficient, clean, and comfy enough. The hotel staff were unbelievably flexible and the whole atmosphere was relaxed. […] The only possible downside was the surrounding area: there was a syringe provision point just around the corner from the hotel. The comfort hotel is a very nice and modern hotel with a good breakfast. The location is nice in the day, right next to the train station and Opera House and a convenient walk into the city but is a slightly sketchy area at night. Overall it was a great stay!

Good location near central railwaystation and center. Clean rooms ,very good and comfortable bed. Good breakfast, (even though there was no bacon )Very good value for the money!

The hotel was located very centrally and whilst the lobby area fet a little no frills the rooms were of a good size, tastefully decorated and had comfey beds. Bathrooms were fantastic. Breakfast buffet was good.

Great location, a couple of blocks from the main train station and the express train to the airport. ALL the front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Their English was the best......The Breakfast is just super, so much to choose from.....GREAT hotel for the money. This is not luxus hotel, and the basic rooms has a 90cm wide bed in a very small room. That said, it is walking distance from Oslo S, has a great Gym and the rooms are new and clean. Good for the price.

Easily walking distance from central station and all sights and centre of town

This hotel still is somewhat under construction - pallets of stuff in dining areas and stairwells. You need to use a kiosk to get your room key to check in, which you also need to use the elevator. When it's all done, it will be a kind of funky thing. But for now, there was an issue with my check in, so the person had to do it manually anyway. Why not […] just check in the way 99.9% of all other hotels do? My room was fine WRT cleanliness. But the phone didn't work. I needed to make a long local call. The only solution was to change rooms. The new room had a busted TV remote. Around the corner, I could easily find a "friend" for an hour if I wanted. I've stayed at a few hotels now for business travel in Oslo. The renovations were complete and the hotel looks great. The rooms are very comfortable. This is a terrfic hotel for the money. As other reviewers have stated, the immediate neighborhood is a bit dodgey but the hotel is ideally situated to the train station and minimizes the duffle bag drag distance.

I had stayed in this hotel before its refurb and was my Hotel of choice when I stayed in Oslo. Now I am looking for a new Hotel. This is a case of designers being so far up their own ( you can choose the word) that they have produced something that is so cold and minimal that a local hostel has more warmth. Where you had a nice reception with great […] staff, you now have a bank of computers with a "Host" to help you out. It makes airline checkins booths seem friendly. No carpets, just concrete floors. All open plan with plastic "Ice blocks" to sit on. Everything echos, so much you can't have a converstation and want to get out of the reception as soon as possible. The rooms are still small and clean, but my shower was so weak that I had to run round in it to get wet. And who's idea was it to put the soap dispenser above the towels?? Such a shame. Lees meer

The hotel was under going a remodel while we were there and it was finished on our last day. Very nice and modern. The breakfast was very nice.

The hotel was nice but undergoing remodeling. Breakfast was served in a bag outside your room each morning, but this was due to end 9/1/11. The staff was very helpful and nice. Comfortable hotel with good staff- helpful and friendly. The bed and the shower was great!! what more do you need? Breakfast was terrific as we found in most hotels in Norway

Hotel near the Central train station - 5 minute walk. Central Train Station neighborhood is quite bad - drugs and prostitutes all around. I had an allergic reaction to something in the hotel - I think it was the sheets. Not sure. But I got a rash the first night - it faded, and then after waking the second night it was worse. It faded again as I left […] the hotel. I asked to store one laptop bag for a few days, but they couldn't do it for me because one room was public, and they couldn't monitor it, and the other was under construction. But they didn't try to find a solution for me. The rooms are small but seemingly clean (except for whatever gave me that rash). My view was of the inner courtyard, which is not great. Other rooms have better views. The common balcony view is quite nice, of the fjord and the opera house. Good price. Lees meer

Staff were friendly and helpful when I booked the wrong room type. Although expensive when compared to the $AUD it was relative to the cost of living in Norway. The hotel was in a good location with easy access to and from the Oslo Central railway station. The free Wifi was great to have and worked well. The included breakfast was substantial, however […] not to everyone's tastes. All in all for a short stay, give this a go. Great location. Close walk to main train station, port, and sites. Very convienent. Great breakfast, especially considering cost of meals in Norway. Not fancy, but met all our expectations at reasonable cost.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and given the cost of living in Norway, this is likely one of the best stay for the money. Location was convenient as my friends and I had many suitcases, and it was close to the central train station. Oslo is small in land area as compared to other major European capitals and everything is essentialy walking distance. […] Even Frogner Park was about a 20 - 25 minute walk. The breakfast was above average (but good for Norwegian cuisine standards) and there was free internet and limitless coffee. Short walk (5 mins) to central station and main shopping area. Good value (at Norwegian prices !). Only minor negative was streetwalkers on every corner after 10 pm, but same in main shopping area/train station.

We stayed here twice on holiday n Norway, staff were very helpful and have no complaints at all

If you have an early flight from Oslo, this hotel, which is perfectly adequate and clean, is very close to the train station and the train to the airport. Recommend it. Not many restaurants in the the neighborhood but it's only about 10 minutes to the center of Oslo and many choices.

The room was clean and had a good view out the windows. However, the people at the reception desk were not the friendliest. The coffee machine was not very clean. There was no information about coffee or tea or where to get them from. We figured out later that we could get tea from the breakfast room but if they had told us earlier that would have helped. […] Breakfast was good. Lees meer

Special check out on sundaes 6 pm was especially helpful as we had to take a night train. It was very near train station and good value for money. Neighbourhood a bit unexpected since it is next to stock exchange.

Hotel was great. Right in downtown, close to everything and 4 blocks from the Trains station. Took the Flytoget train (Airport Train) all the way in. Breakfast was good, fresh and free. Price was decent but good for the location of being in downtown. Hotel looks professional in lobby and has computers in the lobby for use (free of charge). No wireless […] internet or internet in the room. TV's in the room are ok, but only 5 channels to choose from. 7 Movie channels and 200 NOK for them per day (but last till noon). Did not order movies. Beds are not really that comfortable but pillows are nice. Decore in room is modern. Noisy from street traffic when windows are open. Bathroom is nice and shower has good water pressure. Hotel allowed us to stay checked in till 5 PM free of charge as we were running in the Oslo Maraton. Great experience in this hotel. Lees meer

The hotel location was excellent and the security was great too. The staff were nice and friendly and the break fast was excellent with lot of variety. The only complaint i had was our shower curtain was really dirty with mold on the edge. I complained to the front desk and they replaced it.

The room wasn't ready at our 3pm arrival. The clerk left without telling the oncoming clerk that we were waiting. We had to leave before breakfast and were told a "take away" breakfast would be prepared for us; but the next morning the clerk told us he didn't have time to prepare it. No apologies. Overall, I liked the hotel. I think I got a reasonable value for the money for Oslo. I was really annoyed by the fact that the Internet connection is done via scratch cards that expire after 4 or 12 hours. The selection of TV channels was quite weak, in my humble opinion. Good buffet breakfast but avoid the plastic cups with stale fruits in them. […] I noticed that the one of the serving personnel carried these cups by holding then with their fingers placed inside the cups. The personnel is friendly but only some of them smile. Good location... close to train station and to one of the most popular shopping streets. Lees meer
