Nieuw hotel vlakbij de luchthaven. Wij hebben geen last gehad van de vliegtuigen. Prima ontbijt, voldoende keus. Bijzonder vriendelijk personeel.Zwembad en jacuzzi waren 24 uur open. Alles perfect schoon gehouden. Een oase van rust en toch in de buurt van de strip. Heerlijk om binnen 5 minuten aan het ontbijt te kunnen zitten of bij het zwembad zonder eerst 15 minuten door een casino te moeten lopen.

Heel mooi en luxe hotel, enig minpunt is dat er geen of nauwelijks ontbijtmogelijkheden zijn. Verder een luxe hotel met alle voorzieningen, dame die ons incheckte was vriendelijk maar het was tevens haar eerste dag, de rest van het personeel was iets minder vriendelijk. Het hotel zou ik eerder beoordelen als 4*, over de top (zoals Bellagio/Ceasars Palace) was het niet.

Mooie en ruime kamers, modern ingericht, klasse!Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding.Enige minpunt was dat het hotel de internet verbinding heeft uitbesteed aan een extern bedrijf welke slecht bereikbaar was ivm problemen met de betaling voor mijn WIFI verbinding!

Goed hotel voor verblijf niet ver van de Strip. Restaurant Ellis Island naast hotel gelegen met heerlijk steakmenu voor $7,99. Supermarktje 7 eleven vlakbij.Handige shuttle van en naar luchthaven.

Riviera Hotel And Casino ligt heel handig vlak bij de luchthaven in The Strip in Las Vegas, dicht bij Winkelcentrum Fashion Show, Congrescentrum van Las Vegas en Congrescentrum Sands Expo.
Resortvoorzieningen.
Riviera Hotel And Casino heeft een healthclub, een turks stoombad en een sauna. Draadloos internet is gratis beschikbaar in openbare ruimtes. Dit resort met 3 sterren beschikt over zakelijke voorzieningen zoals een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes voor kleine groepen en een limousine- of autoservice. Dit resort in Las Vegas biedt diverse eetgelegenheden, zoals een restaurant, een koffiebar/café en een zwembadbar. Het personeel kan op verzoek een huwelijksservice, een cateringdienst voor evenementen en hulp bij excursies regelen. De glitterende, zeer grote gokpaleizen domineren Las Vegas Boulevard South, beter bekend als The Strip. De hotels alleen al zijn een bestemming op zich. Binnen een strook van drie kilometer kun je de skyline van New York City, de Eiffeltoren, een Egyptische piramide, het keizerlijke Rome, een dansende fontein en een uitbarstende vulkaan zien. Hotel is gedateerd. Kamers zijn schoon. Bed is goed, erg belangrijk. Douche kop is niet gebouwd op een Nederlander, eerder voor een dwerg met een kromme rug. Maar goed, een beetje gymnastiek in de ochtend kan geen kwaad. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van het Las Vegas Convention Center, erg handig. Het ligt minder gunstig op The Strip. Ongeveer 15 - […] 20 minuten lopen. De prijs is erg goed, hoewel er bij het uitchecken ineens een of andere belasting uit de hoge hoed werd getoverd. Ben je opzoek naar een hotel voorzien van alle luxe dan is dit niet de juiste plek. Maar goed, al met al is de prijs/kwaltiteit verhouding goed. Lees meer

Rokers vrije kamer ruikt muf, na wateroverlast (zwartwater uit gootsteen) waarna hele badkamer onder smurrie stond anderekamer gevraagd. deze was beter. Dochter had in zwembad in glas getrapt, heeft dit gemeld, iedereen uit het water en schoon gemaakt maar een excuus was er niet bij.

Erg genoten van ons verblijf hier; het hotel heeft leuke shows te bieden en vriendelijk personeel. Kamers zijn ruim en bed lag heerlijk. Zwembad is ook lekker om overdag te relaxen. Enige min punt was dat er niet schoongemaakt werd, maar voor die twee nachten was het ook weer niet zo erg (denk dat er bij meer nachten wel iets gebeurd). En tip; kom op […] tijd, 1 of 2 uur voor check in! Wij hebben dat ook gedaan en we konden gewoon direct inchecken en toen we er een uur later langsliepen stond er een enorme rij! Lees meer

Wij zaten in het Mediterren South tower, slecht uitzicht, bouwput rondom het hotel. Lokatie op de strip is afgelegen. Kamer is mooi en ruim. Schoon. Perfect bed. Jammer dat er geen koelkast aanwezig is. 3e dag ontbraken de kleine handdoeken. Extra betalen voor het resort, kluis en internet. Lokaal bellen niet mogelijk. "Voor herhaling vatbaar"
We waren in eerste instantie een beetje bezorgd nadat we enkele recencies gelezen hadden over de gedateerdheid van het hotel en hoe niet-rokerskamers toch (ex-)rokerskamer bleek te zijn. Gelukkig bleken deze zorgen allemaal ongegrond. Je auto kun je gratis parkeren en onze kamer lag in de manaco toren. Geen uitzicht over de strip maar over de parkeergarage […] en achteringang. Wel lekker rustig. We hadden een kingbed in een niet rokerskamer. Er stond een koelkast op de kamer een wekkerradio met een iphone oplader (we zullen dus wel een gemoderniseerde kamer hebben gehad). Via de website hadden we een encore kamer geboekt maar als we de plaatjes op internet bekijken lijkt het toch meer op dat we een signature kamer hebben gekregen. Het casino is lekker rustig. In de buurt ligt een walgreen en subway voor je ontbijt en ook in het hotel zijn er genoeg plekken om een lekkere kop koffie te krijgen. Lees meer

Goed hotel, erg groot en het management weet ordered fast feilloos langs het golgebeuren te leiden. Al met al prima voor een congres en als je van vergane glorie houdt.

This hotel is the worst I have ever stayed in. Booked a renovated luxury room but advised by front desk when I asked to be moved due to the condition of the bathroom, only the area with bed had been renovated. I contacted Hotels.com & they organised my move to another hotel after the first night & being told by hotel, I was in one of the best rooms, […] also had welts on my skin after being bitten by something in the bed! "Vegas April 2012"
I was pleased to see the the rennovations. I love the cabanas! My room (with a view of the pool) was neat and clean and the staff was courteous and efficient. The service was excellent and so was the food. I appreciate the location because it is located between Downtown (Freemont Street) and the excitement of the newer hotels where there is much traffic […] and congestion. I was very surprised mhen I checked in to my room. The carpeting was shredded in parts. The bathroom was very bad......tiolet seat was discolored brown. The pipes were dirty and rusty. The grout was discolored also. The air cond. unit was very old and outdated. The bed was made however, was shortsheeted and not tucked. I called the front desk and they […] switched me to another room. Upon examination of new room, I was better as far as cleanliness. The room was still outdated and worn. "I think I'm done with this hotel"
This was my 2nd stay at the Riviera. The 1st time there was no pool. However my room was farely decent. This 2nd time the pool was nice, but my room was awful! It's like they freshened up the bed linens & put up a flatscreen tv, but everything else was still old & not fres. I know you get what you pay for, but this was ridiculous. Not to mention you […] had to walk a country mile from check-in and valet to your room. It may have been which tower I was in, but it was very inconvenient. Lees meer

"Rivera review"
The Rivera is a nice place though that end of the strip is getting pretty isolated since they have torn down so many other properties. They have closed up many of the small shops in the Rivera and added more slots in those areas. We had a classic room which means in the old section, two double beds only and a very small bathroom with no place to set […] any items out. The room was clean but I would upgrade next time. The only real complaint was check in is awful slow everytime we went to the desk there was a long line and it averages about 1 hr to check in. Also the TV checkout system only works from 6AM until 2:30 PM which isn't much good for early morning flights. Food prices have gone up everywhere in Vegas, a sign of the times since gambling is off some. Parking is convenient and there is a CVS drugstore not far away if you forget something. If you have kids there is a McDonalds across the street and Circus Circus is also across the street if you want to do their kid activites. Rivera has a very nice large pool but it closes at 6 PM. "Never Again"
I was in the room less than 5 minutes and the maintenance man showed up telling me the maid had reported a clogged bath tub. After three visits and two snakes he cleared it. One hour later the toilet was full of hair I guess he tried to flush it down the toilet.
i found a bed bug in my room and security said it was not a bed bug but i know what a bed bug looks like because i work for a hotel and i've seen them before, they didnt offer any upgrade or anything
1. The "I.T." staff competent and helpful 2. The housekeeping people were delightful and wonderful 3. The front desk people for the most part were ok 4. The Internet service is terrible at best, sporadic and unusable at worst 5. "Needs updating"
Too far off the strip. The hotel is dated and needs an uplift. Comfortable room, but no atmosphere.

The hotel was fine for the price. It was not a luxurious hotel like some of the other hotels on the strip, but it's clean and comfortable, and it's on the strip. The only complaint I had was that it was a little noisy. I think the walls are a little thin.
Check in was a miserable experience. No perks with room, not even a morning cup of coffee. Only good experience was the pool but even that closed too early. Overall, won't be back.

The hotel is at the far end of the strip, so the closest hotel is about a 10 minute walk. Everything else is much further. The dining choices in the hotel weren't too bad, some over priced but for the most part fair. The staff wasn't very helpful with information, and it's really hard to get drinks in the casino unless you are at the bar or a live table. […] The room was outdated, one of the beds was very worn & sunk in in the middle, but room service was awesome at bringing clean towels & freshening up our room when asked. Hotel was old and dirty, it was located in an unsafe area, it was very far from the main strip by all the big hotels. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all!!!!

I like to try different hotels when I stay in Vegas and a few of them I've stayed in more than once, but I won't stay here again. The room was dusty (it would've failed the white glove test). The picture of the outside looks better than the inside. Very outdated. Not satisfied.
the rooms in the san mateo area of the hotel are horrible...which is where they put us...hate to say I would never stay there again...

"Did not get what we paid for"
The stay was good but the hotel did not have the room we paid for. We paid extra money for an upgrade and when we got there all we got was "we are sorry but that room us not available". We had booked that room atleast 2 weeks in advance. The room we got had an old worn out toilet and tub, old tv, and the faucet was not broke so water was leaking day […] and night. Next time I will just stay in the new hotels price isn't really that different. Location was not bad but not at the center if the strip. Lees meer

"A Suite Can Be Deceptive"
I've always had the philosophy that when staying in Vegas, the room is only there for you to sleep in. This trip I decided to get a suite at the Riviera. The room was a large room. Way too much floor space in my opinion. Some of that space could have been used for the tiny bathroom. Also if you pay a little extra for a suite, it shouldn't be fair that […] you share door between two rooms. There was so much open space under the door resulting in hearing everything in the room next to you. Considering Vegas is a place where people are coming in and out at different hours of the day, the Riviera should at least have sound proof doors between the rooms to eliminate as much outside noise as possible while maintaining the privacy element that comes along with purchasing a luxury room.
