One elevator was under repair, the wait for the only other elevator was sometimes 5 minutes or more, as the service staff had to use that elevator as well as the guests. The front entrance was under repair, so we had to avoid much of the stairs/sidewalk. We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn - the Hotel Staff were great, especially the front desk. I travel on Business every month and I always try to stay at the Hilton Garden Inn chain if available. The front desk staff here at this Hilton Garden Inn were exceptional. The staff (both at the front desk and in the restaurant) were extremely friendly and very helpful. For us, it was a bit farther out from Boston than we anticipated. Although the hotel was not far from the subway station it was about a 45 minute subway ride into the city therefore not convenient to come back to the hotel during the day.

The Staff are great. They were always helpful, professional, and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, but had too much furniture in it. It did not leave much room for luggage, and personal gear. Overall, an enjoyable stay. I will stay here on any future visits to Boston.

Rooms were good size, nicely furnished and clean. Staff from start to finish were welcoming, friendly and proactive . Suggestions for restaurants in the area were great with lots of choices. Highly recommend this hotel

We stayed here while in town for a baby shower for our daughter; arrived Fri. when Watertown and surrounding towns were locked down looking for Boston Marathon bombing suspects. Thankfully the search ended Fri. nite, but what a stressful day. However, the bed was very comfortable, moreso than any hotel I've been in recently. The restaurant downstairs […] was very good, large portions, a little pricey; wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. They provide a fridge and microwave which is very convenient. Staff at the front desk were nice and fixed an issue with the bill we had right away. This is our second stay here in the past 3 years and it is still a great value. The location is great. Close enough to the city to not have to deal with traffic […] and close enough to be able to catch the T and use the transit system instead of paying outrageous parking fees. Not too far from Fenway and TD Garden and other attractions. Room service is good and not too overpriced. Overall, we would stay here again and again when we visit the great city of Boston. The interior design evoked a sense of being in a guest in someone's home. The kitchen and dining area was arranged in a way that made you feel you in someone's kitchen. The bar was nice and the opaque cabinet doors allowed for a discreet but classy bar. The pool area was clean and never crowded. We have stayed at the Hilton Garden before, but were disappointed that this time it was undergoing some rather major renovations. The staff did sincerely apologize and wound up giving us coupons for free breakfast. So, with the coupons and what was a very good rate, we were not all that dissatisfied with our overall stay. Nice hotel. Construction in front meant pool was closed and a little messed up around the entrance. Two queen beds in room was a nice touch not seen in many other hotels. Refrigerator vibrated a lot, but we were very satisfied and the service was very good.

This hotel was doing some renovating while I stayed there, but despite that my stay was quite comfortable and I had no major issues. I wish the gym had more free weight equipment, but I can't fault them considering the size of the room.

Hotel is set back from the road and there was some construction going on to th entrance of hotel. I would not have found it if I did not have a GPS. As it happened I drove past it twice before I stopped to ask if it was the correct location. Check in help was rude and failed to properly address our advance request for a quiet room (they put us directly above ongoing construction). They told us that even though we had called ahead that the desk clerk shouldn't have said they could accommodate our request for a quiet room as they can't block rooms. Then the other clerk asked the manager if […] he wanted her to unblock a room across the hall for us! Lying to customers is always a bad sign.
