Holiday Inn Newark Airport in Newark

Wij zijn zeer tevreden over het hotel. Geen ontbijt genoten omdat we een vroege vlucht hadden. Wel een tip, het hotel zou een shuttle kunnen regelen voor bezoekers die de Jersey Gardens Mall zouden willen bezoeken. We waren nu aan taxi chauffeurs overgeleverd en die rekenden 25$ heen en 30$ terug. Andere hotels in de buurt adverteren met zo'n shuttle […] dienst dus er rijdt genoeg. Wij zouden bijv. een volgende keer voor een hotel kiezen met zo'n shuttledienst omdat wij deze mall zouden willen bezoeken. Lees meer

Uitstekend hotel voor overnachting in de buurt van Newark Airport. Zeer mooie kamers!

nice large rooms. We had to catch an early flight so decided to stay the last night closer to the airport (rather than in Manhattan). Our cab driver had difficulties finding the hotel and we had to call the hotel to provide guidance. Taking the shuttle to the airport in the morning and it took only 5-10 minutes to get there.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Had an issue with the TV in my room and was very quickly given another room with any issues.

Our stay at this hotel was one of convenience, necessitated by an overnight wait for a connecting flight home. We arrived around 6:30pm and left at 04:30am and from beginning to end of our stay were impressed with the quality of service offered. Complimentrary shuttle service, business centre for airline pre-check-in (complete with printer setup), cafe […] for a light dinner, helpful front desk, and comfortable room with king-size bed. It was a great hotel for what I needed - a launching pad to the airport for an early morning flight. Didn't seem to be anything else around the hotel other than that.

The hotel was fine, no complaints. The room was good and clean. My complaint is the shuttle to the airport terminal; A rood driver, using his cellphone while driving...speeding and driving so fast over the speed bumps that the passengers flew out of their seat (a full foot into the air) and slammed back down. I hurt my back on that ride. Luggage flew […] out of the rack and landed in the passenger section. The driver was still on the phone when we were getting out of the van. He did not bother to look up. My second stay in as many weeks. Newly renovated. Good rate. Much better breakfast than the freebie breakfast at the Hampton Inn. Very comfortable bed and good room for working. Highly recommended!

This is a surprisingly good hotel given the overall, very poor reputation of Holiday Inn. This facility is newly renovated, good value, comfortable bed and well organized room including the bathroom. For a required night at Newark Airport, you can do A LOT worse.

Very great hotell, worth every penny, if your in the Newark area I would recommend this hotel. Only thing I see wrong is breakfast buffet, not good + expensive , for two slices of toast. But I enjoyed my stay I will def. go back!

Clean property with convenient shuttle service. Loved the iPod dock and USB ports for charging everything. Reasonable price for a great burger in the lounge!

Great new hotel across from Newark Airport. Flatscreens in every room and decent restaurant & bar, although wine list needs attention!

Hotel was in close proximity to everything. New decor of hotel and room very trendy. Would have been nice to not have to take elevator for ice or snacks. But overall a good stay was had by all.

10 minutes from NYC. Very nicely priced and good rooms. Overall the only issue we had was no fridge in our room. This was rectified and a fridge was brought in. The rooms are very nice and the staff is friendly. I will probably stay there next time. the price was a steal for two nights.

Only complaint is that my hotel room didn't have a small refrigerator to store left-over foods. Plus no vending machine on the floor.

Food at cafe was awful- burger ovrcooked, fries cooked in old oil, pancakes crumbly and doughy. Nice try with flowers at the tables, butt hey were gone by and drooping.

The employees were very nice and the bar and restaurant weren't bad either. Thanks, for a good stay.

Good Hotel for the price

Everything was great, rooms as nice as any $400/night room I have stayed in the past. Great for catching a flight out of Newark and just few minutes out from NYC by train. Only negative was I wish the restaurant had better food. If you are debating about staying here or somewhere else by Newark Airport book here you will not be sorry.

Nicely updated Holiday Inn with friendly staff, only negative is the location. Even though you can see the hotel, the GPS had a very difficult time getting us on the correct access road.

very nice. hard to find by car

I experienced a travel glitch and needed somewhere to stay for the night between flights. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant stayed open until 11pm which is perfect for weary travelers. They had a nice bar area which is an amenity usually found in hotels at a higher price point. This motel was convenient for catching an early morning flight. It was brand new, very modern and a pleasant surprise when we arrived.

Hard to find if you're driving in but once you get there, what a great place to stay! First off, the staff was super great! PROPS to the front desk! So very accommodating!! The room was very nice. I was surprised at how nice this hotel is. New/ confortable, quiet, clean. The only thing is it can be hard to find, so make sure you have good directions. I would definetly go back if need arises.

I departed the hotel at 5AM to the airport, but shuttle bus service did'n t take us to the terminal. They took us to the station of air train, instead. Another hotel in this area, such as Hilton, usually provide shuttle bus service to the terminal.

Excellent value for money; Room and hotel were very modern and clean; Really enjoyed our stay and the service that we received from the staff; Would definitely return here when need a night stay before a flight.

The service was excellent. The hotel restaurant was reasonably priced and good food. Only gripe is that it isn't near anything. You must shuttle to the train station or get to the nearby Jersey Garden Mall. Otherwise - nothing to do. Relaxing

Good alternative to staying in Manhattan, it is close to transportation, planes, trains and automobiles. We drove but this location gave us the option to fly if we would have found reasonable fares. The hotel cost combined with transportation cost to Manhattan was still less expensive than the city. I have stayed at several hotels by the Newark Airport and this one easily beat them all. Very clean, friendly staff, free parking and the best value for the price. I was amazed! I must warn you though...it is tough to find. It is a newer hotel and your GPS will try to take you to the old location. Call ahead for directions, and you will be fine.

Great customer service on arrival! That meant a lot to me!

I was looking for a hotel close to the Newark Airport and I found a jewel in this hotel. One of the best rooms I have stayed in in a while. I travel about 75%of the time so I stay in many hotels. Everything about this Holiday Inn met and exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again when I return to Newark.

The breakfast buffet was awesome as well as the service. I would definitely stay at this hotel again as it is conveniently located and the price I received from hotels.com was great.

Great hotel near the EWR Airport. Great for business travellers and others. This was my first time to stay there, but will definitely stay there again. Shuttle was waiting everytime I returned to airport. Very prompt at the hotel when requested. All the staff at this hotel were friendly and helpful. Room, while not luxury, was very well appointed. Free WiFi, etc. Will stay here all the time from now on.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay in. We really enjoyed our stay. However, it was a little difficult to locate it.

Usually stay in Manhattan, but got in to Newark very late so I stayed near the airport. Great room -- clean, large by NYC standards, very well appointed, quick shuttle -- everything I needed.

Flew in late to NJ for Thanksgiving and needed a place to stay before completing my journey to New York via commuter train the next day. It was nice to jump on a shuttle bus and be delivered to the hotel after a short drive. The room was comfortable and clean. Hotel had a nice bar & grill for a nightcap before going to sleep.
