Vlakbij Times Square, beter kan niet. Ideaal hotel ook met kinderen. Kamers zijn prima, geen geluidsoverlast van straatverkeer. Behulpzaam personeel. Echt een aanrader.

Dit hotel is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Dichtbij de PATH trein naar NYC. Ontbijt en kamer waren prima!

Mijn dochter (10 jaar) en ik hebben eind april een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences gelogeerd. Dit naar volle tevredenheid! Het hotel ligt op ca. 4 minuten loopafstand van Times Square, de kamer was niet groot, maar prima voor ons verblijf. Er werd keurig schoongemaakt en al het personeel was uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Men is momenteel bezig met enkele verbouwingen aan het hotel (waar wij overigens totaal geen last van hadden!) die het hotel mijns inziens alleen nog maar mooier en completer in dienstverlening zullen maken. Wij hopen volgend jaar week een week in Cassa Hotel and Residences te mogen verblijven en raden iedereen die een goed hotel zoekt in New York dit hotel van harte aan.
Ligging.
The Mark ligt in Central Park in New York, dicht bij Museum voor Amerikaanse Kunst Whitney, Central Park en Metropolitan Kunstmuseum. In de buurt bevinden zich ook Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum en Rockefeller Center.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel in luxe stijl heeft een restaurant en een bar/lounge. In openbare ruimtes wordt een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) aangeboden. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze accommodatie met 5 sterren zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, een vergader-/conferentieruimte en een technische helpdesk. Het personeel kan op verzoek een conciërgeservice, hulp bij excursies/tickets en bedrijfsgerelateerde dienstverleningen regelen. Extra voorzieningen in deze accommodatie in Beaux Arts-stijl zijn onder andere een fitnessvoorziening die altijd open is, meertalig personeel en een cadeaushop of kiosk. Parkeren op locatie is mogelijk tegen betaling. Dit is een rookvrije accommodatie. De algehele renovatie van deze accommodatie is in november 2009 voltooid.
Hotelkamers.
The Mark heeft 150 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van iPod-dockingstations en een cd-speler. Elke 32-inch lcd-televisie wordt geleverd met premiumkanalen via de kabel, gratis filmkanalen en de recentste bioscoopfilms. Alle kamers beschikken over een bureau, kluisjes in de kamer (ook geschikt voor laptops) en een telefoon met directe buitenlijn met voicemail. gratis lokale gesprekken (hiervoor kunnen beperkingen gelden). Een gratis snelle internetverbinding (draadloos en via kabel) is beschikbaar. Alle bedden hebben designer beddengoed, driedubbele lakens en een donzen dekbed. Een kussenkeuzemenu is beschikbaar. Elke kamer is in eigen stijl ingericht en gemeubileerd met een afzonderlijk zitgedeelte. Elke kamer is voorzien van een koelkast met een minibar en een waterkoker/koffiezetapparaat. Elke badkamer heeft een afzonderlijk bad en een afzonderlijke douche met een handdouche, een dubbele wastafel, een tv en een weegschaal. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een dvd-speler en een videogameconsole. Daarnaast zijn op verzoek voorzieningen beschikbaar zoals een magnetron, massagebehandelingen op de kamer en hypo-allergeen beddengoed. Een turndownservice is elke avond beschikbaar en een huishoudservice dagelijks.
Afhankelijk van het hotelbeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag worden aangerekend.
Bij het inchecken dien je in het geval van incidentele kosten een erkend identiteitsbewijs en een creditcard voor te leggen.

The Mark excels in every category. the location is great, the service is superb and the rooms are lovely. The bathrooms in the rooms and large and luxurious beyond expectations. The rooms are quiet and beautiful. Will definitely return. Soon, I hope.

Absolutely charming and full of old-NYC attention to detail. The only issue I ever had was my room key not working. Elevators work quickly, decor is charming. Staff is wonderful. The TV in my bathroom mirror was amazing. Room service was prompt and surpassed my expectations.
Expensive for such a small room without a view of anything.

Half block off Madison ave, great shopping, wonderful hotel, wonderful room, superb service. I would avoid the restaurant, overpriced and not that great, but there are plenty of places to eat within a three block radius. It had the feel of a boutique Hotel. It had a great bar and buzzy restaurant. The hotel had just been renovated and had a very luxurious feel to it. a high floor is recommended to avoid overlooking air conditioners. One of the best hotels i have stayed in. Yes its pricey but worth it if its for a special occasion ( honeymoon, anniversery). It's in a great location, not close to the noise and congestion of NYC. Its in uptown, minutes away from Central park. The gym facilaties are great. As this hotel was recently refurbished it is all new and modern. Everything […] is designer, you feel like a king (or queen) This hotel deserves its five star rating. Staff where very friendly and offered a speedy service. They had a promotion going on at the time if booked directly on their website, but as i booked from hotels.com they offered me an upgrade to a one bedroom 'apartment'. It was huge.
