prima ligging. Aan de rand van echte centrum in zakendistrict. 5 min lopen van metro station, 1 a 2 haltes tot in stads centrum. Zeer ruim appartement met 2 slaapkamer, 2 badkamers en 1 woonkamer/keuken.

De kamer was netjes, wij sliepen met 4 personen in de familiekamer. 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen (13 en 16 jaar). De kamer was niet groot, maar voor ons geen probleem omdat we vroeg weg waren en laat thuis. De knop van de wc was kapot, we hebben dit gemeld en toen we s'avonds terug kwamen was deze al gemaakt. Ontbijt was prima. Naar het centrum is +/- 10 min met de bus (opstap vlakbij hotel), daarna met de metro +/- 10 min. Echt goed te doen. Het personeel was zeer behulpzaam. Kortom een prima hotel voor een weekendje Londen.
Ligging.
Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge bevindt zich in het centrum van Londen, dicht bij Harrod's, Sloane Square en Hyde Park. In de buurt liggen ook Royal Albert Hall en Buckingham Palace.
Hotelvoorzieningen.
Dit hotel voor zaken heeft een restaurant, een koffiebar/café en een bar/lounge. In openbare ruimtes is tegen betaling een internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) beschikbaar. De zakelijke voorzieningen bij deze 4-sterrenaccommodatie zijn onder andere een businesscentrum, vergaderruimtes en audiovisuele apparatuur. Het personeel kan op verzoek een cateringdienst voor evenementen, zakelijke diensten en een geldwisseldienst regelen. Extra voorzieningen zijn onder andere een conciërgebalie, meertalig personeel en barbecueroosters. Parkeerruimte is beschikbaar tegen betaling, maar beperkt. Als er geen plek meer is, kan je ook vlakbij betaald parkeren.

Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge heeft 222 kamers met airconditioning die zijn voorzien van een minibar en een kluis. Bij betaling van een toeslag kunnen gasten op de kamers gebruikmaken van een snelle internetverbinding (draadloos of via kabel) . Elke televisie heeft kanalen via satelliet en betaalfilms. Elke accommodatie biedt een bureau en een gratis krant. Elke badkamer is voorzien van een bad/douchecombinatie, make-up/scheerspiegels, een föhn en gratis toiletartikelen.

De wijk Chelsea ligt op aangename afstand van de grootste drukte en heeft stijl, allure en een vrijgevochten maar verfijnde sfeer. De trendy King's Road is de belangrijkste verkeersader, met talloze restaurants, speciaalzaken en boetiekjes. Knightsbridge staat zelfs nog een treetje hoger in het winkelwalhalla, met Harrod's als bekendste en populairste winkel.

Great location,2 mns from the Tube. Hotel staff very friendly & helpful. Room very clean & modern,would recommend this Hotel.

This hotel was at a great location for all, inspiration, shopping, sightseeing, dining. Staff was quite friendly, some of the german ladies were a bit more stiff but still friendly. We had some trouble with the air-conditioning and nearly went up in flames due to the heat. I did not sleep well at all during my whole stay, guess bed and pillows were […] far too soft, but I cannot blame the hotel for that. Ok, so lobby looks nice for being this price class. Room has Ok size for being in central London. But, service is unheard of. So arriving they do not have anything but smoking rooms, and now we are talking really used smoking rooms. They stink. I requested to get a non-smoking but was stuck in the smoking room. Secondly reported tv not working wasn't […] fixed during four days. Lastly, lock on the door stopped working and only a main key would work, so the last day I had to have hotel staff to help me to get in to my door everytime going in and out. Breakfast is ok if you can get it included in the hotelprice. Location is great. I stay around Sloan Square at least ones a month but I will not return to Millienium Hotel Knightsbridge as there are several other hotels in the same price class that provides much more updated rooms and significantly better service. "Not what it is made out to be"
The hotel is in a very nice area but it is not clean and every think in the the rooms are old. The carpet and the beding looks like from the 1980's. The ceiling is so low in the hallways and rooms I felt like I was going to hit my head and i am not that tall 6 Ft tall. I would rather stay at a 1 star hotel. "Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge"
From the moment we arrived the standard of service was impeccable. We were given an upgrade on arrival and offered a quiet room at the rear of the hotel. As we were running the Parks Half Marathon we requested a late check out and this was provided immediately. all round excellent impression and hope to stay there again.

Great location, typical London small room and ensuite bath that is a bit worn, decent value for money, good view, friendly staff. A convenient relatively inexpensive cafe/take away three doors away. The only negative was hit and miss maid service. (Didn't clean coffee service for 2 days; not all towels provided, tissues not replaced).

I got a really good deal on this hotel - and it was money well spent. A very nice location in Knightsbridge just a stones throw from Harrods. The luxurious lobby could be decieving as the rooms are quite average. That said, the hotel was clean, tidy and efficient. Id recommend for business or pleasure.

NOT HAPPY WITH THIS HOTEL. WILL NOT BE BACK. ROOM WAS AS SMALL AS A WALK IN CLOSET AND FREEZING!!! I CAKLLED FOR A 7 AM WAKE UP CALL AND IT CAME AT 7AM BUT THEN RANG EVERY FEW MINUTES FOR 15 MINUTES UNTIL I CALLED THE FRONT DESK. THAT HAPPENED EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!!

"Millennium Knightsbridge - or Gloucester Road?"
The Millennium Knightsbridge is centrally located within walking distance of Harrods, the tube, Hyde Park, The Palace, etc. As a result, the streets are packed with tourists. We've stayed at the Millennium at Gloucester Road before and would probably choose to do that again rather than the one in Knightsbridge. We found the Gloucester Road hotel to […] be just as convenient (just two more stops down the Piccadilly Line) but in a slightly quieter, more residential area with plenty of good restaurants, pubs and convenience stores. London hotel rooms are expensive for what you get but our one at the Millennium Knightsbridge was relatively OK - very small and pretty basic, but clean and comfortable, which is all we needed for being out and about in London. The staff were variable in their knowledge and care, which again, is what we expect. All in all, we think Millennium Hotels are OK for a stay in London. Lees meer

The room was small but clean. The location is perfect. Harrods is just a few block away, and the tube stop is right down the street.

Good hotel room, comfortable bed, nice location (very close to Harrods!). Very close to several Embassies. There is a vallet parking but is expensive. There are paking lots available close buy.

The millennium is a wondurful hotel in a very good location an exteremly nice( reception ) and knowlegable staff (consurge ) , and when the volclcanic cloud shut dowen the airports , the manegment gracefully extended our stay with almost the same rates .
"Let down by the appalling check in desk!"
I had big hopes as this hotel is highly recommended by some good friends! We arrived for my 30th birthday celebrations and the service at the check in desk was appalling; we had a 20 minute wait to check in and the people on the desk were incredibly ill mannered; hardly made eye contact and did not smile once! This is the face of the hotel and I am […] sorry to say, really coloured my perception of the overall experience. My partner thinks that the foreign staff come across as brusque but I personally think they were just rude and quite snooty! We had to wait 3 hours for our room and then they didn’t know whether it was clean or not! They lost our paperwork, which we could easily spot behind the desk, they made my partner swipe his credit card no less than 7 times because of a new check in system! When I pointed out that we had waited 3 hours for our room, they offered us two drinks vouchers for the bar - only because they were being watched by a supervisor and not because they were genuinely sorry for our poor experience!! Its a shame that such a beautiful hotel falls down so badly at the first hurdle - as everything after that experience at the check in desk, was great; the room was clean, beautifully appointed (although a little small) and the concierge service were thoroughly helpful and pleasant. I'd like to say that I'd give them a 2nd chance but they are too expensive to risk a second bad experience and why should we, when there are too many wonderful competitors to try! Lees meer

Absolutely not a standard of service that we want for our guests, specially when it comes via a recommendation. I am happy to hear that Concierge has given a much better impression and you were happy with your room in our beautiful hotel. Great location very close to shopping, tourist locations and a tube stop. They charged for internet about $50 a day and it only worked about 1/3 of the day. The staff are English as a second language and are not nice or helpful. The room was so small that we could hardly walk around the bed. We stayed there for 5 days and the tea and coffee was never […] replaced in the room. We attempted to watch a pay for view movie that didn’t work and could not get any help from the staff. The room was very hot and the air conditioning just didn’t cool the room and made sleeping impossible. I never had a hot shower, just warm. Is it really too much to ask that in an English speaking nation that one could communicate with the front desk. Lees meer

Great location, next to Gucci on Sloan Street and two blocks from Harrods. Very close to several tourist locations and a tube stop within a block or two. If you check in with an American express platinum card they will upgrade your room for no charge. The main problem is that they charged for internet an excessive 25 pounds daily or about $45. The front […] desk and staff people speak little English, which is strange because this is London and they are very unpleasant and mean. "Inmejorable situación, céntrico"
La verdad es que cuando llegamos nos asignaron una habitación que no nos gustaba. Pedimos otra y la que nos dieron estaba mejor, incluso era más alta. Las vistas regulares. Puedo añadir que el personal del hotel sobretodo rercepción y en concreto una de las señoritas tuvo un comportamiento excelente, necesitamos un artículo en concreto ( un metro) y […] se desvivió hasta conseguirlo . Lamento no haberla vuelto a ver durante mi estancia para haberle agradecido mediante un detalle su atención, pese a que lo hice en persona. Espero tener la oportunidad de hacerlo el proximo año. Vi skulle besøke noen som bor i Belgrave, så hotellet har en perfekt beliggenhet for dette. Men det var også sentralt i forhold til øvrige gjøremål. Vi gikk f.eks. gjennom Hyde Park til Oxford Street, Covent Garden mm.Hotellet ligger like ved Harrods. Kort vei til T-bane, i det hele tatt - en positiv overraskelse.
