TRYP Madrid Washington Hotel in Madrid

Leuk hotel in het centrum van de stad. De kamers aan de voorkant hebben een mooi uitzicht op de winkelstraat. Goed ontbijt.

Vier nachten in Tryp Washington geweest, het is prima bevallen, en we bevelen het hotel ook zeker aan. Comfortabele kamer, vriendelijk personeel, goed ontbijtbuffet, en op loopafstand van het centrum van Madrid. Metro op slechts 150 meter.

Het hotel is goed gesitueerd in het centrum; dichtbij metro en bussen, die door de straat komen waar het hotel aan ligt. Diverse mooie plaza's, Koninklijk Paleis, kerken, musea en leuke eetgelegenheden op loopafstand. Ruime hotelkamers. Vriendelijk personeel, bereidwillig om goede informatie te geven en zaken voor ons te regelen. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Jammer […] dat er geen stoelen op onze kamer stonden en wij die ( na onze "klacht" doorgegeven te hebben bij de receptie) ook niet meer gekregen hebben in de periode dat wij in het hotel verbleven. I loved my stay in the hotel. Very good and I think you will not regret this hotel. Super location and good breakfast. Good Service, beds and no noise.

Op de 7de verdieping zat ik. Helaas wel de kleinste kamer van de etage met raam op de binnenplasts. Misschien was dat ivm geluid van de drukke straat. Locatie is perfect, vanaf Gran Via ben je overal heel snel. Schoon was het zeker, elke dag gepoetst en om de dag per persoon schone handdoek en badhanddoek. Bedden gied was niet verschoond maar we sliepen […] er maar 5 nachten. Was wel 1 lange kussenrol voor 2 personen en het bed kraakte hard en lag ook hard. We werden regelmatig ervan wakker. A good budget choice hotel in a very convenient position. Staff friendly and helpful. My only gripe is the noise. We were in a back room and it was very noisy in the early morning and late at night. plenty of places nearby to eat, including breakfasts.

This hotel is brilliant for sightseeing in Madrid. It's right in the middle of all the major tourist sights. About 2 mins walk from the Palace and about 5 mins from the main shopping area. The metro is cheap and efficient at 2.50 Euros from the Airport with a station just down the road which saves messing about with taxis. The hotel staff were lovely […] and very helpful. I went to Madrid for the weekend with my girlfriend. My goal was to find an afforadable hotel in a great location. Luckily, this property accomodated both of these conditions and then some. The location is absolutely perfect. It is located on Gran Via, and is within walking distance of pretty much all of the must see sights in Madrid! I bought a 10 […] pack of Metro tickets assuming I would use them, but really did not even have to. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and in good condition. The bed was fairly comfortable, with a great bathroom and a tv with more channels than I thought. I am glad I decided to go with this hotel rather than a hostal for the weekend. For anyone interested in an affordable hotel with a quaility room and incredible location, this is the place for you. Lees meer

I had a great stay at the TRYP Washington. The hotel was very nice - the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was superb and for this price you would find it difficult to get something else so nice and central. I would definately recommend this hotel for other travellers.

Location, location, location! The hotel is right on Gran Via so you can't go wrong with it. The beds are not the most confortable ones and they should consider focusing on getting new ones if an upgrade is on sight. We ended up at this hotel because the original hotel we booked could not get the airconditioning working so we decided to move. The front desk personnel were very welcoming and spoke english. The hotel is located in a nice early very close to a metro and walking distance to good shopping, sites and museums. The room was clean but the walls had what […] looked like water damage and there was not mini-bar. Bed mattresses were not comfortable but in fairness, all three of the hotels we stayed in during our trip to Lisbon-Spain had the same mattresses. This is a midpriced hotel, and I thought it was suitable for the money. We spent so little time in the hotel that it didn't bother us. This hotel is in a wonderful location, right on the grand via next to a musee Jamon! It's nice because the plaza espanya metro stop is only one train change away from the airport. Also, it is literally steps to the metro, very convenient to the shopping on gran via and calle fuencarral and surrounding areas. Located right near Plaza de Espana on the Gran Via, location is perfectly central yet right near a Metro station making is easy to get around. Service was great, hotel reception really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really nice, full contintental buffet so could eat as much as you wanted. Nice, well-located small hotel, we could walk everywhere in central Madrid from here in 15-20 mins. The room was small but modern and clean, and we didn't spend much time in it anyway. Staff spoke good English and were very helpful. Breakfast was OK but expensive at 9 euro. No other amenities really, but very good value for money for the location and […] decor. The location of the hotel was excellent, the staff was very polite, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was rich. However, the hotel was very old, and this is the only reason I will not recommend it. I'd recommend one of the Vincci hotels or at least stay in a 4 star. Not at all what I expected, small and outdated, the pictures online were nothing like we received. We loved our stay at Tryp Washington. Price was right and the room was very clean. Location was near many metro stops and on a very happening street. Would return to this hotel again!

This was a reasonably nice hotel. The best part was absolutely the extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room itself was adequate and the location is good. We did have a moderate ant problem, though nothing extreme. The wireless internet only worked in the lobby as the signal didn't reach our room. All in all I would recommend the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location, the service was good too but I was a little dissapointed about the tired decor though to be fair they were decorating roons on our floor and in reception while we were there. I wished the hotels in Madrid had more english TV channels rather than just CNN news, after a long day sightseeing it would be nice to watch […] english TV just before going to sleep. Lees meer

In middle of everything. Steps away from metro station. Across the street from Plaza Espana. Great rooms and staff.

Great hotel, good location near the Royal Palace on Gran Via. Excellent breakfast buffet which was included with the room. One note, my husband and I put up the do not disturb sign but our room was cleaned anyways, and one time I think they even came in to clean while we were sleeping (when we woke up the door was partially open and they were outside […] the room waiting to clean.) ich muss sagen vom preis leistungsverhältnis echt super! Frühstücksbüffe mega gut und viel! und die lage ist auch super, man ist direckt auf der riesigen einkaufstrasse und 2 min zu fuss ist man bei der u bahn! weniger als 10 min ist man beim palast! ideal fürn abendspaziergang! ps: umbedingt ins museum des jamons gehen ist gleich neben dem hotel die […] auswahl an tapas ist super und sehr günstig!!!!! Hotel mal conservado por fora e nos corredores, mas moderno (reformado) dentro dos quartos. O hotel não oferece serviço de quarto próprio, ele tem uma parceria com uma pizzaria e um sushi. A localização é excelente! Ficaria neste hotel novamente.

Para nosotros fue perfecto. El trato ideal, hasta el ultimo dia nos dieron la opcion de dejar la habitacion a las 16h. Y guardarnos la maleta en una consigna. La habitacion era grande y con vistas a la Gran Via, tal y como sale en la web.

Creo q las fotos son de cuando lo abrieron, la realidad esta viejo y quiero suponer que la Habitacion q me dieron era para fumadores por que apestaba a cigarro y las paredes muy sucias, lo único es q esta bien situado.

Muy buen trato en el personal, comodidad aceptable y sin lujo. RECOMENDABLE PARA UNA VISITA RAPIDA A LA CIUDAD

Godt udgangspunkt for en uge i Madrid og lige ved metro Plaza Espana. Vi fik værelse med egen balkon på 10. etage ud mod gaden. Dog var støjen fra gaden stadig hørbar, så hvis man sover let må ørepropper anbefales. Morgen buffetten var rigtig fin, men der er mange alternativer på Gran via. Eneste større minus var at man skulle betale for wireless - […] det burde være inkluderet til denne værelsespris. Og så var der ingen stole på værelset eller møbler på terrassen, så den var umulig at opholde sig på, men måske er de bange for at løsdele ender på gaden. Lees meer

我住的是標準房(standard room)，最大的問題是沒有椅子，雖然有一個看似椅子的置物櫃…。 房間很乾淨，洗手間很大，冷氣有點冷，燈光有一點暗，隔音是可以大約聽到外面有人進出房間的開關門聲音。 雖然房間用的無線網路要額外收費，但是真的是計算你的使用時數，我覺得不算貴。 附近有肯德基、麥當勞等各種店，很多東西可以吃。 交通很方便，距地鐵站走路約一至兩分鐘，可以走路到皇宮。 整體而言，我覺得除了不太適合在裡面使用筆電工作，若完全以出去玩而言，算是很好的選擇。

A localização do hotel é bastante conveniente, porém o hotel em si nos pareceu excessivamente modesto e mal cuidado, desde a recepção, café da manhã, corredores, quarto, etc. Nada é muito ruim, porém tudo é apenas minimamente satisfatório. Definitivamente, não correspondeu às nossas expectativas.

Loistavalla sijainnilla yhdellä Madridin pääkaduista. Metroasema vieressä ja kävelyetäisyydellä kauppoja ja nähtävää.

El hotel está perfectamente adecuado a su categoría y precio. Con una excelente ubicación, y sobretodo el 98% de su personal en recepción es excelente, satisfasciendo al cliente, buscando soluciones. Siempre hay alguna excepción que confirma la regla pero que no le hace a este comentario.- Así realmente vale la pena viajar porque nadie quiere encontrar […] escollos cuando está fuera de su casa. Dans le centre sur une des avenues principales et à 50 m du metro,l'hôtel permet les visites des principaux sites touristiques à moins de 30 min de marche. Shopping très varié dans un rayon de 500 m. Nombreux restaurants et bars tappas dans le quartier. Petit déjeuner buffet assez complet avec fruits frais.

La primedra noche, al abrir la cama, me encontre con un animalito (pulga) en la almohada. La terraza, estaba llena de moho verde incrustado en la pared que hacia de limite de la terraza. Ett hotell med ett perfekt läge på en av dom största och livligaste gatorna i Madrid. Med många möjligheter till shopping och tillgång till olika restauranger. 100 meter till närmsta tunnelbanestation för vidare äventyr i staden. Man tar sig bl.a. snabbt till flygplatsen med bara ett byte. Trots läget är trafiken inget som stör nattsömnen. Otroligt […] trevlig och tillmötesgående personal som med ett leende hjälpte till med allt man eventuellt hade funderingar om. Ett medelklasshotell av hög standard. Rum - med vissa, men i det stora hela små skavanker. Stort fint badrum. Välstädat och välskött. Vissa rum har även egen liten altan. Med utsikt över stan.
